~Chapter 7~

Cleo's PoV

My mother is from the Eclipse Pack, the only child of Alpha Mihael Theron. The Eclipse Pack is widely known for shutting themselves from the public. Most of them are wolves who wields magic and elements. On the other hand, the Alpha possess the Arch wolf spirit of Grey. The one who possess it can control both light and shadow. They also have the ability of insight, where you can see the future, read minds and see within someone's soul. A power which the Coven desires the most. Since the Theron Bloodline were chosen by the Spirits of Grey, even if we have yet to bond our soul to them, their traits manifests on us. By having golden pair of eyes. The other wolf packs believe that if they have our eyes, they could be able to see through their fate. That's why for the past hundreds of years, the Theron Family decline in number.

All these reasons are why my Grandfather was killed. Grandmother ran with my Mom, who was only 18 at that time. They travelled down the south, to escape the people who were chasing them. Before my Grandmother dismantled the pack, she gave an order to the Beta, who stayed with the pack. She told him to hide themselves and never let anyone know where there are. Thus the pack became wanderers, without a leader and link thru one another. They still stayed as a group, though it cannot be called a pack since it has no Alpha and Luna. And the name Eclipse Pack has been long forgotten.

While mother was travelling the land of South, he met my father, who was her fated pair. Mom settled at my Father's pack, together with Grandmother. Unfortunately, when I was born. Grandmother suddenly died. It was the time where my Grandmother talked to Alpha Lucian about establishing the Eclipse Pack since another Theron was born. Mother told me that Grandma wants me to lead the pack as the heir of Theron.

My mother pushed the agenda of establishing her fallen pack, that's why I took her last name and I was never made known to the public. What they only know is that Beta Greyson has two kids. The first was the soon to be beta and the other is unknown. Although I was assigned as a companion to the Alpha's son. I am discreet enough to change my appearance when I'm in public. The only people who knows what I really look like, was Alpha Lucian, Jim and the Gamma.

When Jim knew that I was of Theron Bloodline, he became obsess and possessive with me. I kept on drawing the line between us and it got us to a point where he forced a mate bond with me. Even without my wolf, I already had a gift of insight, I have the ability to see one's soul. I learned that I have this gift, when I was five. But looking into someone's soul takes a toll on my body, since I haven't completely bonded to the Spirit of Grey.

I was supposed to go to Canada, to study and also gather the Eclipse Pack. Unfortunately, luck is not on my side. My family were killed, a day before my high school graduation. I was seventeen at that time. Kira who opened the closed case of grandmother's death probably found something and was killed in front of me. While I was captured and kept imprisoned at the dungeon, right below to the Alpha's office. Jim was so obsess with me, that he wanted to make the Theron bloodline his. That is why he raped me until I got pregnant. Right after I gave birth, I was forced to become a rogue. I consider it a good thing, since at that time he also found his mate. For a few weeks he didn't bother me. Before I was pregnant he would starve me and use me 'til he's satisfied, but when his mate knew of my existence. They started torturing me, they also wanted to torture Kirael and I was given a choice to take the punishment for Kirael's existence. My body started to weaken and my wolf, whom I could talk to before, shut herself. I don't even know if she's alive.

I told everything I know to the Alpha King, hoping that I didn't miss any. As he listened to me, I can see his jaw clenching and unclenching. His eyes would also turn into black at some point.

"So when did you meet your wolf?" The first question he asked, full of curiousity.

"Hmmm...I don't know when exactly but I first talked to her when I was in labor." I answered him.

"When was the last time you spoke to your wolf?" Was the next thing he asked me.

"About two years ago, but I don't think its accurate since I lived in the dark dungeon. I count it as a day when I wake up." Explaining how I knew it was two years ago since I last spoke to my wolf.

The Alpha King heavily sigh, an exasperated expression is clearly seen on his pretty face. Bringing his face into his palm, I can sense that he's furious about the things I've told him, but he can't do anything about it. It already happened, there's no option to rewrite what happened in the past.

"Why did you fail to escape?" He look into my eyes with a dead serious face.

"I'm weak." I can't think of any other reasons, aside from being weak.

"Do you want to be part of my pack?" He surprisingly asked.

"What?" My eyes widen at his question.

"I'm sorry its not a question but a command." He playfully grin and pointed out.

"But that also means I have to work with you." I said, seeing through his intent.

"Indeed, I knew you were witty." He praised me and patted my back.

"I'm not a child to receive such praise."

I was so occupied talking to him, that I didn't noticed my son is already asleep on the sofa. Doctor Leonor also came into my room.

"Cassius, I think you should go now. The patient already told you what she knows, so please exit the room and let her rest." Doctor Leonor driving him out of the room. "Oh before I forgot, bring Kirael with you. We'll run a few more tests on her." She trailed of.

"Why can't I just stay here?" Cassius frowned.

"Ah! let me put it this way. You're not a family, so out you go. Bring Kirael with you. I'll let you know when will she get discharge." Doctor Leonor said, as she help me lie down and put on my oxygen mask. Then her nurses proceeded to move me out of the room.

For two weeks I've been focusing on how to recover and no one was allowed to visit me, except for my son. There were some occassions were tha Alpha King tried to get pass the hospital's security just to visit me. However he was immediately block off by Doctor Leonor and she would often lock my windows and door, so that no one can disturb me.
