Reaching Royal School

It was becoming dark. Every moment bright sky was getting devoured by the Darkness.

Wind passed by sending chill gusts everywhere, and the young demons standing near the forest started getting worried.

Cries and Roars from the Demonic Beasts echoed around them, forcing the young demons to come closer.

As time passed, the hearbeat of the young ones grouped together, they had been waiting here for some hours, but no one had come to bring them to the Royal School.

They were all looking at each other; none of them had any experience of being alone. From their birth, they had remained in their Families; it was the first time they were alone in the wild.

Behind them was a closed gate that was not opening no matter how much they tried, While around them was a thick forest that looked endless.

The Roars shook everyone as if small explosions were taking place around them. It was then they heard the sound of a giant creature approaching them.

'Thump', 'Thump'

Earth was shaking, so were the trees before them, and the cries of the Demonic Beast became louder.

Young demons retreated, standing near the corner with their fingers crossed, praying it's not what they think.

However, luck was not with them as their guess was right; they saw two great orbs shining crimson in the night as if someone had switched on two red-colored bulbs.

Their legs started shaking; some even started shouting for help, knocking the gate behind them with all their strength.

The sound became louder, and soon they saw the face of the terrifying creature; it was a giant Demonic Beast. Its head was eight meters above the ground.

A small storm appeared as the Beast exhaled air from its large nostrils; its massive horns became visible as it approached them.

It had a head similar to a Demonic Ox but looked way more terrifying; it had burning red rings on its horns.

As it moved closer its whole body became visible, It was covered in black hide. Multiple thick chains were tied to it, reducing its speed.

"What kind of creature is this?" asked someone from the crowd.

"I don't know, but from what I can tell, it's above 3 stars, It's hopeless we all are going to die. It is coming straight toward us." said one of the Dark Elves.

The Beast came closer, and strange light could be seen behind it; as they looked properly, they found out it was something big.

"What is that," asked the girl from the coiledviper family.

"I think it is pulling something." replied the Dark Elf.

Soon, they saw the thing clearly as it approached them, "It's a Wagon."

"Wagon? This big, how is this possible?" asked another demon.

It was towering as tall as a castle turret and stretching as wide as a city street. Its sinister appearance is accentuated by swirling designs etched in black and brown, reminiscent of ancient, forbidden runes.

It had big lamps in front that were lighting the way; soon, their eyes fell on the one sitting in front.

A strange figure wearing a black dress with a tall hat on the top; as it came closer, its crimson eyes became visible.

It had a pale face, long grey beard without a mustache, and long nose and ears.

Its presence might made the onlookers feel that the atmosphere had become colder; it looked more terrifying than the giant Beast before him.

It did an excellent job of attracting attention and distracting the young demons from noticing the Demonic creature approaching them.

A smile appeared on the face of the figure when he looked at the group of young demons. This smile made him more creepy than friendly.

The Wagon that looked more like a tram became visible; it had multiple seats.

"Everyone enter it, I have come to escort you to Royal School." He said, revealing his long canines.

The crowd sighed in relief, looked at the giant Wagon, and approached it.

Comfortable seats line the interior, arranged in an eerie symmetrical pattern, allowing passengers to observe the otherworldly landscapes of the Demonic Realm as they journey to the Royal School.

Ghostly, blue flames dance along the edges of the Wagon, casting an eerie glow and providing both illumination and protection.

As the young demons sat on it, they felt that the seats were as comfortable as they looked; they also felt safe after entering it.

The wagon turned slowly before moving deeper inside the forest. It was moving on a road in the middle of the forest, separating it into two parts.

They were surprised that no demonic beast appeared in their path; on second thought, it was unlikely any demonic Beast would dare to challenge the authority of Roya School.

Everyone here grew up hearing stories about the demonic Beasts; they knew that high-level Demonic Beasts are different than they can think.

The speed of the Wagon became faster; they only realized it when looking at the trees around them racing back.

Most of them here were tired; some were even injured. Until now, they were being cautious, but now they could not hold back and started falling asleep.

Others also started resting or talking with their friends; Amon talked about the Demonic creatures with Kael.

After spending so much time together, they have got on friendly terms; Amon also forgave the cowardly behavior of Kael as he guessed he was not fighting type.

He soon got his answer from Kael, who told him he would become an Artificer.

"What's an Artificer?" asked Amon.

"Artificer is someone who creates artifacts." replied Kael.

"Oh," Amon had guessed that, but he wanted to confirm it; this made it very interesting. He thought everyone who joined the Royal School wanted to become a warrior.

Time passed by, and they entered the depths of the forest; the area around them was filled with tall trees. Occasionally, they even saw some Demonic Beasts passing by.

It was then the Wagon became slower, and the ones awake saw lights in front; a giant wall appeared.

Gates opened as they saw Wagon, and they were allowed to pass; inside they saw many houses.

Soon, the Wagon came to Halt; It had stopped before a giant gate. Two watchtowers could be seen keeping an eye on them, guarded by many Demon soldiers.

They could feel they were in a heavily guarded place; after some time the gates opened and they found themselves in a strange place. It was filled with giant structures.

It appeared to be the size of a big town. There was not big crowd but many demons could be seen moving from one place to another.

"Finally I am here," said Amon as he looked at the ginat structure in the middle. It was of the size of a big castle.
