Ivo's eyes drifted between the two of them.
That single question had changed the energy of the room. It was as if the air had become charged with electricity.
If Davi felt the change he didn't let it show in his expression. "What did you have in mind?"
"I don't know. That's why I asked you," Vice said. He paused to take a sip of water before continuing, "But maybe it was a silly suggestion, we should just forget it."
"I think I deserve a reward," Ivo blurted out, only belatedly realising that had been Vice's intention all along when he saw him smirking.
"Do you?"
Ivo didn't answer him. His attention focused on his plate.
"Do you deserve it, or do you want it?" Davi asked, amusement colouring his words
Ivo's head snapped up. He glared at both of them. "What's the damn difference?"
