After Kaneki made breakfast he went inside Miku's room to wake her up.

Miku: I'm up! Stop doing that!

Miku woke up.

Miku: Onii-chan! Seriously you should stop doing that to wake me up.

Kaneki: ...

Kaneki didn't make any expression.

Kaneki: breakfast is ready.

Miku: okay...

They both went to the kitchen and started eating breakfast.

Miku: so is Natsuki coming here today?

Kaneki: nope, she's having cooking lessons today but she'll probably come by later to give us some leftovers.

Miku: really? Hehe~ hopefully she doesn't burn down her house.

Kaneki: like you almost did last month?

Miku was embarrassed hearing that.

Miku: well excuse me no one thought me how to cook.

Kaneki: good point. Anyways I'll be going out later so don't let anyone in alright?

Miku: yeah sure.

Kaneki: good.

After they both finished eating Kaneki immediately went outside.

Kaneki: I'm out.

Miku: take care...

Kaneki then began to walk to somewhere..

Kaneki's thoughts*

(Alright then now I need to find some place where I can change without getting se-)

Chikao: Kaneki!

Kaneki: Huh? Chi-chan?

Kaneki ran into Chikao who was jogging.

Chikao: Huff! Huff! Hey how are you?

Kaneki: I'm good. I see that your jogging.

Chikao: yup! Wanna join me?

Kaneki: alright but how do I jog exactly?

Chikao: just copy what I'm doing.

Kaneki: okay.

Kaneki can copy anyone's movements just by watching them a perk he got when Sachi asked him to join her dance practice's back then.

They then started to jog.

They jogged for at least 20 minutes.

Kaneki: that was fun.

Chikao: you're HAA~ not even tired?!

Kaneki: yup, but it was fun.

Chikao: Haa~ wanna get a snack?

Kaneki: yeah sure.

They went to a vending machine that was nearby that sells snacks and drinks.

Chikao: it's on me Kaneki so what do you want.

Kaneki: orange soda.

Chikao: anything else?

Kaneki: nope I just had breakfast earlier so I'm full.

Chikao: alright then!

She the pressed some buttons and got the snacks and drinks they both want.

Chikao: Nom! so Kaneki is Sachi having a stream soon?

Kaneki: well she says she'll be streaming tonight and I'll be playing with her in the game she'll be streaming.

Chikao: really? Nice!

Kaneki: to be honest I'm very surprised with her fans.

Chikao: really? What's so surprising?

Kaneki: I suddenly became their favorite.

Chikao: pfft! What? What do you mean by that?

Kaneki: don't laugh sigh~ well after you know she got back she invited me to join her stream and when I did some stuff happened and they some how liked me.

Chikao: haha! Good for you!

Kaneki: I honestly don't know how to feel about that.

Chikao: you'll get used to it sooner or later. After all you're a part of project Kizuna too.

Kaneki: ... By the way how are you in your apartment?

Chikao: I'm doing good, but I am trying to find a part-time job because it won't been soon until the government will stop providing for me.

Kaneki: really? I suggest you go work part-time in a store or a cafe it might be easier there.

Chikao: yeah, you're right but I already have an idea where I could take a part time job.

Kaneki: really? Where?

Chikao: in a bakery.

Kaneki: huh~ that really fits you, you do like baking in middle school.

Chikao: right! I'll b interviewing later hopefully I get accepted to work part-time.

Kaneki: you have my support. But be careful alright?

Chikao: don't worry! After all I have this!

She pulled out something from her pocket.

Kaneki: wait isn't that?

Yuuka: yup! The thingy that the Hero gave me when he saved me, he said if I'm ever in danger I can use this to call him.

Kaneki: hee~ lucky you, you have the Hero on your side.

Yuuka: if I ever meet him again I want to thank him for saving me.

Kaneki: yeah of course you do.

(She likes the Hero huh? Too bad the Hero is the pathetic me)

Chikao: but the one I want to thank the most is the one who told the Hero of my condition.

Kaneki: huh?

Chikao: you know, one of the 5 of you. After all he did say one of you told him. So the one I should really be thanking is one of you.

Kaneki: ...

Chikao: by any chance was it you.

Being confronted by that question Kaneki naturally lied.

Kaneki: nope, why would you ever think that? Well I'm outta here good luck on your part-time job interview. See ya!

Chikao: yeah... See ya.

And so Kaneki left Chikao.

Back at Kaneki*

Kaneki: alright this place might be good.

Kaneki went under a bridge with no one near and out of the line of sight.

Kaneki: but just to be safe. blood smoke.

To be sure no one sees him he used one of his abilities blood smoke.

This ability makes his blood become smoke when he bleeds and by piercing his hand with Sword-san he made a lot of blood smoke.

And soon he emerged from the smoke became the Hero of Hell/Atlantis once again.

Hero: time to patrol Shimotsuki.
