When Kaneki was walking to his classroom, he ran into his sister Miku Higanbana and she invited him to join her "group" but for what exactly?

Kaneki's Thoughts*

(Wait don't we usually use a ballot with our names to make our groups at random?)

Since Miku wa suggesting something they don't usually dofor picking out groups for group activities, Kaneki didn't know what she was up to.

Miku: if you're wondering why I'm doing this it's because of this text I received from Querxes Sensei.

Miku showed her phone with the message.

Kaneki read the message that was on Miku's phone.

Kaneki: "hello everyone, I'm sorry but I lost the ballot you kids used for making groups for your group activities, so I need you kids to make your own groups for your current group activity Cooking class" I see, so he sent this to everyone, thanks Tachibana-san, I forgot my phone at home so this kinda helped me.

Miku: no problem, anyways will you join my group? I already have a few members and I need you.

Kaneki: but wouldn't you invite Itadori?

Miku made a annoyed face.

Miku: as much as I want to, his cooking really sucks and I want to pass our cooking test today.

(Oh I get it, she only wants me in her group so she can pass, I can understand that I mean that guy seriously sucks at cooking, his food may look good but it's absolutely disgusting. Compared to senpai's eyes, arms and legs, they taste better than his food)

Kaneki: fine I'll join, but it'll cost yo-

Miku: pudding I know probably 5 or 6 right?

Miku: you like pudding a lot.

40 minutes later at Cooking class*

After getting to Cooking class, Kaneki was in a group with Chikao, Natsuki and Miku. All 4 of them worked together and made some really good food.

now the teacher is tasting the food that Class-1C has made for the test.

Teacher: alright, we have 3 groups left, Itadori group, Saki group and Tachibana group. So what did Itadori group made?

Ryueki: here's our dish sensei Hamburg steak.

???: we hope you enjoy it sensei.

???: yeah, we worked so hard for this.

???: please let us pass!

Teacher: alright let me have a taste. Itadakimasu.

The cooking class teacher took a taste of Itadori group's dish and.

Teacher: Bleurgh!

She immediately ran to the sink and Luckily she made it in time.

Everyone: !!!

Kaneki: can't say im surprised.

Natsuki: agreed, they knew fully well that Itadori-kun's cooking is horrendous but they completely relied on him.

Chikao: I feel so bad for those girls.

Miku: facepalm!*

Ryueki: S-So how is it?

The teacher didn't like the food that Ryueki made.

Teacher: Itadori group fails

Itadori group: Nooo!

After tasting the Disgusting food that Ryueki made the teacher went to Sachi's group.

Teacher: next Saki group! What is your dish?

Saki: we made Donburi sensei, we made it carefully and I tasted it first to make sure it tastes good.

Shino: we made sure to cook it in the right temperature and carefully cooked the rice.

Yuuka: we hope sensei can enjoy our food.

Teacher: hopefully it's better than the Itadori group. Itadakimasu~

The teacher then tasted the bonburi that Sachi's group made.

All 3: so how is it sensei?

Teacher: Mmmmh~ it's really good, Saki group passes.

Saki: Yes!

Shino: Thank goodness!

Yuuka: thanks sensei!

After passing Sachi's group the teacher then went to Miku's group.

Teacher: good job, now lastly Tachibana group. What is your dish.

All 4: curry rice.

Miku: we hope you enjoy it sensei.

Teacher: let's get this over with already. Itadakimasu~

The teacher then tasted their curry rice.

Teacher: Wow! This curry rice is super good, Tachibana group passes.

Miku: we did it!

Chikao: good job everyone.

Natsuki: thanks.

Kaneki: I didn't even helped much. I only cooked the rice.

Miku: well thanks for helping us still.

Teacher: with that cooking class is over you kids can take a 10 minute break before going back to your classrooms.

Everyone: thanks sensei!

Teacher: well I'm off.

The teacher then left the room.

Itsuki: that went kinda well huh?

Keiko: yeah, but I can't believe Kaneki actually joined Tachibana-san's group.

Kaneki: I was bribed by Tachibana-san.

Ryueki: seriously?

Miku: yeah, although I guess I made a mistake since class ref knows how to cook curry.

Kaneki: well a deals a deal, so you better give me 10 puddings tomorrow.

Miku: I will, by the way Higanbana-kun since we didn't really let you cook you can eat all the curry rice.

Kaneki looked at Natsuki and Chikao.

Natsuki: we'll allow it.

Chikao: just eat it.

After getting permission he took the late that had the Curry rice and began eating.

???: you can still eat?! Didn't you have lunch already?

Kaneki: I just like eating.

Sachi: don't eat too much or you'll get fat.

Kaneki: I know.

Chikao: so how is it?

Kaneki: good, it'll give me enough energy to stay up all night.

Natsuki: what for?

Kaneki: that remains confidential.

Miku: you really are secretive huh? What are you hiding?

Kaneki: alright done. I'm going back to our classroom.

After finishing the curry rice Kaneki left the room.

But for some reason Miku followed him which gained the attention of everyone.

???: huh? What is Tachibana-san doing?

???: that's unusual.

At the hallway*

Miku: hey wait!

Kaneki: what do you want?

Miku: thanks for helping me today.

Kaneki: no problem.

With no one nearby and looking Miku came closer and hugged Kaneki and told Kaneki in a soft voice.

Miku: thank you for everything Onii-chan.

Kaneki: !!!

Miku then let go.

Miku: let's talk again later alright?

Kaneki: alright?

Miku then walked away going back to the Cooking class room.

Doki!

Kaneki: what the?

Kaneki felt that same sensation again.

Kaneki: what is happening with me? Whatever I should go to the classroom and contact Kiryu sensei already.

Kaneki then continued his way backt o the classroom.

Back at the cooking classroom*

Miku: I'm back.

Ryueki: what were you doing with Higanbana?

Miku: oh nothing, I just thanked him for his help that's all.

???: you two are getting along huh?

Miku: well when we went grocery shopping yesterday we did talk about something we both like.

Sachi: what did you two talk about?

Sachi said whole tilting her head.

Miku: that's a secret!

Everyone was shocked to see how Miku was smiling around Kaneki.

And it even attracted Ryueki's attention.

(This isn't good! I must keep my position as the protagonist! I must make sure Higanbana doesn't interact with Tachibana! I don't want him to become a rival and take the main heroine Natsuki!)
