Feast for Celebration

On the bed lay Zhao Yajun who was fast asleep, his little hands curled up in loose fists. His brows furrowed in an adorable frown when Zhao Lifei poked him on his cheek. "Brother, brother, wake up! Mommy's here!" Little LuoLuo started shaking the little Cheesecake slightly. The little guy sat up as he did the same thing as his sister, extended his arms for a hug. Zhao lifei chuckled slightly and pulled the little guy in her arms for a hug.

"Mommy, when did you come back?" he spoke in an adorable tone. "Just now, I'll make dinner today, what would you like to eat?"

Zhao Lifei answered. It had been a while since she made dinner for her darlings, she was so busy in her work that she herself forgot to eat her meals sometimes. She decided to cook a whole feast to celebrate leaving that wretched place called ChenHuai Media.

"Chicken!"

"Shrimp!" both the kids spoke at the same time, Zhao Lifei laughed at them and cupped both their faces in her hands. "Alright! Go Study!" She stood up and walked into her closet, got dressed, came out and headed to the kitchen.

Though she didn't want to brag, her cooking skills were like that of an Seven Star Chef! It was a pity she didn't become a Chef. Soon after, all the vegetables were neatly cut, the shrimp peeled, the chicken was marinated and was currently being cooked.

The strong smell of flavors hit the kids' nose and they came running towards the kitchen. Zhao Lifei turned to LuoLuo, "do you want Fried shrimp or do you want Gravy?"

"Fried." Little bean's answered unhesitatingly. "Stop eating so much fried food, bean." Little Cheesecake would always call his big sister bean, while Little bean called her little brother Cheesecake. They had also given their mom a nickname but would only use it when they felt like it, otherwise they would call her Mommy. Soon, the family sat on the dining table and started eating their fill. Silence filled the whole house while they ate, even the children didn't make a sound.

The thing was that even though Zhao Lifei wasn't strict about closeness to family like other things, she was still very strict about manners and behaviour, it was for the kids' own good, as a mother, of course she wouldn't want their child to be embarrassed or ridiculed. She watched her children eating neatly and carefully, and felt a little guilty that she couldn't accompany them for dinner the past few weeks.

After they were done, they sat on the comfortable sofa in the living room while they watched a cartoon together. This was their habit, whenever Zhao Lifei was home, they would watch a cartoon together for the purpose of 'bonding'. The cartoon would always be the one which was played from 9pm till 10pm, then they would take a shower and sleep.

They didn't read a story because they were already quite old and Zhao Lifei would be exhausted by the time they went to bed. Soon, the cartoon ended and the trio followed their routine and slept soundly.

Morning, Kexin Villas district, Moonlit apartment,

Zhao Lifei opened her eyes at the sound of the alarm. She quickly washed up and ate her breakfast, then she headed out after her assistant arrived at her garage.

"Ms Zhao...are you sure we're leaving ChenHuai media?"

her assistant was still shocked over the bomb Zhao Lifeiside dropped in the Office last time.

"Yes, do you want to leave my side?" Zhao Lifei replied indifferently. "No, No! I was just asking because I don't know your plans for the future, I'll surely be by your side forever!"

The little assistant replied, she wouldn't leave Zhao Lifei, although the girl didn't spend much time with her, she wasn't arrogant like other stars and treated her subordinates fairly.

A hint of surprise appeared in Zhao Lifei's cold eyes, she was really not expecting Assistant Zhen to say something like this.

She nodded, "Mn." and entered her car, heading straight to YunHai media. They arrived at their destination in almost two hours, Zhao Lifei who was fully covered from her hair to her toes checked with the front desk staff, "I am Zhao Lifei, I had an appointment with Mr Zheng Haodong, would you please check it for me?" The girl who she was talking to was pleasantly surprised. She had met her Idol and she was talking to her!!! She was gonna brag about it in front of her friends. "Y-yes, just a moment." she quickly made a call to Zheng Haodang's assistant and then said to Zhao Lifei, "You can go to the Fifth floor, Vice President Zheng is waiting for you."

Zhao Lifei thanked the little front desk executive and took the Lift to the Fifth floor. After arriving at the lounge that Zheng Haodang was waiting for her in, Zhao Lifei didn't bother to keep up her professional attitude. She leaped on to Zheng Haodang and gave him a bear hug.

"Little brother~ Little brother~"

She called sweetly.

"Oh my god Zhao Lifei, get off, I'm dying!" Zheng Haodang pushed her off him lightly. he sighed at the intimacy of his "big sister" and thought 'how did we even become Sister and brother?' but he dared not say it out.
