Realising that I was feeling dizzy, the Earth Jonin threw kunais at me, and ran towards me, aiming to take me down.

I barely managed to dodge the assault, getting some minor cuts, while parrying his ferocious attacks.

But, there was one thing that he miscalculated. I wasn't feeling as dizzy I showed him to. He hasn't seen me ever getting poisoned, so I was able to fool him.

Suddenly, I smashed a Rasengan on his chest, sending him flying away.

Oh. I guess his endurance was not on par with a regular jonin. He must have been promoted early due to war.

Then I ran towards the puppeteer, and rummaged his body for antidote.

As soon as I found it, I injected it, and in a few moments, I will recover.

Now, I only need to kill 10 more ninjas from the Suna camp, who are escaping.

But they are genins, and some chunins at best.

Yet, I can't risk them getting away.

Ignoring my dizziness, hoping that it will go away in a few moments, I followed the trails in the muddy land.

Temu is just a 10 year old kid, thrown into the war when he was just 7 years old.

At one moment, he had been complaining to his teammates about the weather of the Land of Rain.

Not having much water is bad. But as someone who grew up in a desert, this much constant water was even worse.

He had an idea. When the war ends, and he becomes a great jonin, and possibly the Kazekage in the future, he will build something to get the excess water from the Land of Rain to Sunagakure.

This way, both parties will immensely benefit.

Though when he gave this idea to his Chunin team leader, he was slapped for thinking unnecessary things in the middle of war.

He wanted to beat up his leader, but suddenly, a jonin alerted the camp, and ordered them to flee to Land of Wind, and deliver the message to Kazekage.

Yuto Kusaragi has killed Elder Chiyo, and betrayed the village.

Initially, his and some teams composed of three chunins and the rest being genins were chosen to deliver the message, while the rest stayed behind to kill Yuto.

But just as he and his team were running away, the hear a chilling noise of splattering from the camp, and the muddy soil became soaked with water.

Yuto has probably wiped out the entire camp.

After this chilling realisation, the teams split off to go in different directions.

The goal was simple. To survive. The messenger hawk which can fly through rain has already been sent, and if it doesn't encountered any trouble, like Konoha or Rain Village intercepting it, the message will reach Suna's nearest guard post.

But suddenly, Yuto appeared before his team, without them realising. The gap between a jonin and a chunin is too big, especially since Yuto is an Elite, Elder Chiyo's student.

Before he could even try to run away, the heads of all his teammates went flying, spraying a lot of blood on him.

But, for some unexplainable reason, Yuto didn't kill him.

He instead tossed him a scroll, which he didn't dare to catch.

"This is my contact in Land of Hot Springs, and enough money for you to last a lifetime. Give up being a tool for Suna's war, and enjoy your life in a neutral country. You are more suited to be a businessman than ninja.

Suna won't hunt down an insignificant ninja like you who doesn't even have the strength of a regular genin."

Saying that, Yuto vanished.

He has already killed the 100 ninjas from Suna Camp, and knew that by now, he wouldn't be able to supress the news of his betrayal.

He then went back and sealed everyone's corpse, to study them in future and using them if they may be useful for a system task later.
