Chapter 8: Diverting the Tiger from the Mountain.

The next day, Uchiha Sasuke arrived at school and faced a wave of mockery, especially from a certain blond kid. It infuriated him, deepening his resentment toward Uchiha Waku.

At night, Uchiha Waku, wearing black clothes and a mask, took Stitch out after Sasuke fell asleep. Stitch was excited, as if eager to cause major chaos.

Soon, they arrived near the Hokage Tower. Uchiha Waku instructed Stitch, "Stitch, observe the distribution of personnel inside the tower."

"Got it."

Stitch's eyes emitted a faint green light as he reported, "One team is on duty on the first floor, totaling four people."

"On the second floor, two teams are on duty, totaling eight people."

"On the third floor, three teams are on duty, totaling twelve people. Next to the Hokage's office, there's a room with a large scroll, guarded by one of the teams."

In other words, there are twenty-four ninja inside the Hokage Tower, with at least three to six high-level ninja, possibly elite jōnin.

"This setup is quite strong, but luckily I researched the Rasengan yesterday. Otherwise, we wouldn't have an effective attack method!" Uchiha Waku thought to himself.

"Stitch, use Transformation Jutsu and take some explosive tags. Create chaos in the Hokage Tower and try to divert some people."

"But prioritize safety. If you can't ensure your own safety, abandon the plan."

Uchiha Waku emphasized the plan seriously.

"Makabaka! I love destruction," Stitch gestured confidently.

Damn it, I'm really worried about you doing it this way.

But there's no choice; our strength is insufficient. We'll have to use the 'Turning the Tiger Away from the Mountain' strategy.

Uchiha Waku wasn't too concerned about Stitch; given Stitch's attributes, ordinary people couldn't harm him unless it was mental damage.

Without further ado, Stitch used the basic Transformation Jutsu Uchiha Waku had taught him over the past few days and transformed into the appearance of a Cloud Village ninja. Then he slipped out.

As for why he became a cloud ninja, it's because he has a criminal record.

When he was discovered, he immediately charged forward, wielding a kunai that glinted with cold light. Before the ninja could react, he lay in a pool of blood.

Stitch had already seized the opportunity to escape.

"Enemy attack!"

The other three ninja reacted instantly and chased after him.

Both teams from the second floor and two teams from the third floor joined the pursuit. Only the team guarding the Scroll of Sealing remained steadfast!

"It's a Cloud ninja."

As Stitch stepped outside, he encountered the patrolling ninja. They saw Stitch transformed into a Cloud Village ninja and immediately gave chase.

Ignoring them, Stitch casually threw an explosive tag and made his escape.

Boom!

An unfortunate Konoha ninja, unable to dodge in time, was blown to pieces.

"Damn it, after him!"

Seeing their comrade fall, the Konoha ninja harbored intense hatred toward the Cloud ninja.

Nearly twenty ninja chased after Stitch.

"It's my turn now."

Transformation Jutsu.

As the smoke cleared, Uchiha Waku reappeared, taking on the appearance of Sarutobi Hiruzen.

With great confidence, he walked into the Hokage Tower.

On the third floor, Uchiha Waku pushed open the door to the room where the Scroll of Sealing was stored and entered.

"Third Hokage-sama."

As soon as he entered the room, a ninja appeared, kneeling respectfully.

"Well, no spies have arrived yet, have they?" Uchiha Waku asked calmly, without explaining his purpose for being there.

Would it make sense for the Hokage to explain to a subordinate?

"Back, Third Hokage-sama, the spy hasn't reached the third floor yet." The ninja replied, standing up.

"Understood." Uchiha Waku nodded and proceeded toward the sealed scroll.

"Excuse me, Lord Hokage, is there anything else?" The ninja was puzzled by the Hokage's behavior and asked.

"The spy may be after the Sealing Scroll, and I'm not sure if there are other accomplices. To prevent any surprises, I'll keep the Sealing Scroll with me to ensure nothing goes wrong," calmly replied Uchiha Waku.

At the same time, he didn't stop his movements and had already reached the Sealing Scroll.

A hint of excitement flashed in his eyes.

And that excitement was noticed by the ninja, whose face immediately changed, saying, "You're not the Hokage!"

"Oops, I've been found."

Uchiha Waku was startled by the sudden shout and quickly picked up the Sealing Scroll, using the Kagutsuchi to store it in an independent space.

As for why he didn't use the Kagutsuchi to escape, there's only one reason: wherever you enter the Kagutsuchi, you'll still be there when you come out.

Uchiha Waku was the coordinate of the independent space within the Path of Greatness, so he couldn't use it to escape.

After being discovered, Uchiha Waku decided not to hide anymore and revealed his true form, although his face was masked and unrecognizable.

"Rasengan? How is that possible?"

The Leaf Village ninjas were astonished. After all, Rasengan was a jutsu developed by the Fourth Hokage. As far as they knew, only the Fourth Hokage and Jiraiya could perform this technique. (They didn't know Kakashi could too.)

But now wasn't the time for shock. At that moment, Uchiha Waku had already chosen a direction to attack.

"Be careful, everyone."

Aware of Rasengan's power, they didn't choose to confront it head-on.

Uchiha Waku also didn't intend to fight directly. He adjusted the aim of the Rasengan, pressing it into the ground. The floorboards were instantly blasted open, creating a large hole.

Uchiha Waku then leaped down.

"Chase after him!" The lead ninja said with a cold expression.

The other four ninja followed suit.

However, the first one to jump down hadn't even reacted before an arrow struck their shoulder.

"How are you?" the remaining three ninja asked urgently.

"I'm... fine."

But before the words were finished, the person had already fainted.

Uchiha Waku had coated the arrow with a quick-acting sedative, catching them off guard.
