Chapter 110: Battlefields

~Konoha~

Hiruzen sat at his desk as he watched the news from the different fronts begin to come in from the ANBU agents.

On the side of the Land of Lightning, Kumogakure still seemed to be preparing for war as they simply gathered many of their forces, yet no major actions were made other than very small skirmishes across the border.

Though the growing amount of said skirmishes could be a sign that the war with Kumo wasn't far off.

Danzo had been consistently requesting for them to go on the offensive first, though he constantly declined the request.

On the battlefield with the Land of Wind, Suna had seemed to wish for a two-pronged assault on Konoha as the 3rd Kazekage led the troops against Kagami while Ebizo led the troops against Tsunade.

The Puppet Mistress Chiyo had been occupied dealing with Hanzo the Salamander as he attempted to expel the Sand Shinobi from his lands.

Kagami and his students had been able to successfully push back the 3rd Kazekage without suffering a great defeat, though it seemed the war on that front was far from being over.

Speaking of an attack from the Sand Shinobi, Hiruzen's face finally gained a smile as he looked at the complete victory his students were able to achieve over the army led by Ebizo.

He knew his students were growing more and more powerful over the years, though he didn't know specifically how strong they had become.

So him learning that many prominent Jonin of Suna were killed in the battle and that they were forced to defeat with great losses.

However, Hiruzen's smile faded as he got his last piece of news, that the troops of Iwa were beginning to march through the Land of Rain and towards Konoha.

And with Hanzo being occupied by dealing with Chiyo and the Sand Ninja, this meant that she would be facing the full force of Iwa on her own.

He couldn't leave the Village yet, as if he left it would make Konoha seem to be in a vulnerable state, one that might lead to an even greater attack from all the Villages.

Hiruzen called a meeting with the Patriarchs of the various clans of the Village in hopes of coming up with an effective solution to aid in the new fronts that would likely begin.

'This war is not close to being finished. A good first battle is good Tsuna, but I pray you can deal with the enemies to come.' Hiruzen thought as he signaled an ANBU agent to call for a meeting.

~Land of WInd~

Kenta, Sakumo, and Duy stood by Kagami as he announced the news of Tsunade's win on her battlefield and how overwhelming it was.

"Such powerful YOUTH!! That is the reason Tsunade could achieve such greatness. I only hope that her YOUTH continues to burn like a star in the sky." Duy said with enthusiasm laced in his voice.

"It seems Tsunade is still hiding a few trump cards, she never showed a form covered by Fire in any of our matches. And I'm definitely going to make her teach it to me when we get back to the Village." Kenta said with a slight smile.

However, Sakumo didn't focus on the news of her win, instead focusing on the new movements by the Iwagakure.

"Sensei, do you know who's leading the army from the Land of Stone?" Sakumo asked, causing all of them to turn toward Kagami.

Kagami sighed as he answered, with his response making all of their eyes grow wide and they become worried for Tsunade's front.

"The Jinchuriki of the 4 Tails, Roshi."
