Mission and Deal

They were all sitting around waiting for their mission details. "Because I don't think D rank missions mean anything we will be skipping them. Now, the mission is to bodyguard and transport somebody to the rain village. There is a likely chance he will be attacked but it should only be some weak missing ninja."

After hearing the mission they all nodded their heads. "Ok great, the person we will be bodyguarding. His name is Koshai, he will be transporting 1 Million Ryo (around 7,900 dollars) for business in the rain. Our job will be to protect him and make sure he gets there safely."

After explaining the mission he told Akizi and Yuuko to pack the things to get ready. Before the mission started he would need to speak to Kisame. "Hey, if we get attacked, don't move unless you need to." Kisame didn't exactly know why so he asked. "The reason is that you are too strong for this. They need training also, so don't get involved unless needed."

Once saying that he didn't wait for a response and walked off. After an hour of waiting all the preparations were ready. They then set out for the rain village, Akashi told all of them to keep a lookout for anything suspicious and trust their gut.

The truth was this mission isn't only about training, but also deals. During this mission, Akashi would try and make a deal with the rain. Their metals were some of the best in the world! Also because of the amount of chakra conductive metal they have they were selling way cheaper than others.

Although he told Kisame not to do anything that only meant attacking. Akashi put Kisame as the team leader, he would most likely be a jounin after the exams and he would need this skill later on.

They were around halfway to the border until Kisame noticed something wrong and ordered everyone to stop moving. Spreading out his senses he could feel chakra signatures but before he could say anything a giant earth jutsu collapsed on him.

Noticing this the other two both got into fighting mode. Because he didn't know exactly where they were, Yuuko used a phoenix flower jutsu to try and lure them out. There were 4 shinobi who jumped out. Akizi shout out wind blades to attack and hit one of them but the others used substitution.

Kisame then broke off the jutsu and ran over to protect the client from all incoming or missed attacks using samehada to absorb them.

Once they used substitution Yuuko made an earth wall to block incoming attacks. The other ninja used an underground traveling technique to go under the wall. Once they were under they popped out of the ground to attack.

Barely reacting to the attack from underneath Yuuko jumped in the air and used the great fireball technique engulfing the opponent. There were now only two left Akizi used a trapping wind jutsu to push him towards a tree.

Seeing this the enemy threw a high-speed kunai at Akizi who used a hurricane shield to block the techniques and then hit them with a large wind blade. Finally the last one collapsed on the ground and they had killed them. Seeing the performance of both Akizi and Yuuko, Akashi was impressed and let them have a small rest.

After a break of around five minutes, they left again. It only took a couple of more days until they arrived in the hidden rain. The rain village was a very dull looking village, sure it had tall buildings but it had absolutely no color. It was actually kinda depressing.

It was not long until Koshai got into the tall building to meet with the current head of finances. Normally you would meet the leader of the area but Hanzo was not known for his smarts or money handling.

Once getting settled in they started talking business. "What is your reason for being here?" Koshai answered immediately. "I want to use the samurai surveuces at my mansion, I would hire ninjas but I don't trust them long term. They don't have the same level of honor."

Hearing the reasoning the head found it a decent proposal. "How much are you willing to pay?" "I am willing to pay 1 million up front and then 200 thousand every year after this first one." This was an amazing deal for the rain village! "I will have to wait and check some numbers first, but we could probably make this deal." Next after shaking hands, they walked away.

Before the head could leave Akashi interrupted. "I also have a proposal, but I need to speak with Hanzo. Tell him that if a Kage wants to speak with him, he shouldn't turn it down." Hearing that this kid was a Kage he immediately told Hanzo about it.

In no more than a few seconds Hanzo came down to meet him. He had already told the others to leave so now it was just Hanzo, Akashi, and the head of finances. "What do you want?" Hanzo asked in an arrogant tone. "I would like to make a deal for metal and Chakra conductive metal." hearing this made Hanzo a little curious.

"What is your offer?" because Akashi knew the future he knew how to make a deal to get him what he wanted. "Well, I'm sure you have noticed that all major villages use this land as a crossing point." because the Rain village was in the middle the whole land got affected by it later in the second war.

"Of course I have, who wouldn't." "My offer is to place guards here for protection and if a war ever breaks out here we will send backup and aid in the war." This was actually a good deal for the rain considering what will happen in the future. After thinking a little Hanzo came to the conclusion that this was a good deal and agreed. After making the deal Akashi returned to the team. Their mission was done and they would return home tomorrow.
