Chapter 35 : Forest Of Death 2

Team 10 soon found themself chasing a team all thanks to Shikamaru's divine wolf.

They were just hoping that it was not a Konoha team. They really didn't want to attack one of their own. 

"Shikamaru, are you sure that your dog is taking us the right way," Ino asked in frustration as they had been chasing this team for almost an hour now. 

"Yes, I'm sure." Shikamaru just responded with a simple answer to cut the boring conversation short which she started the 8th time by now. 

Huffing and puffing somehow the tsundere girl, who knows right guess anime don't tell everything about a character all the time, and the fat kid kept up with the former lazy ass.

After another 20 minutes, they finally catch up with the team. 

Slowly creeping up to the team, Shikamaru was the first one to spot them. He can't recognize them from the anime or the manga so maybe they are the cannon fodders. 

"So what's the plan, they don't look that much strong. Should we just go on ahead and attack," Choji asked as he was itching to get his chips to eat. 

"Yeah they look weak true but that doesn't mean that we can let our guard down. If there is a chance to make a good plan then I believe that is what we should do. 

And listen carefully, here is the plan," Shikamaru muttered and a plan already was ready in his head.

With Team 7

"NA-RU-TOOO," A scream from a pink hair benchy came. 

This was none other than Sakura.

"But Sakura chan," Naruto tried to present his case but his only fate was a fist from her pink-haired teammate.

But soon they found themself facing Team Oboro, a group of skilled ninja, had devised a cunning plan to infiltrate and ambush them.

Oboro decided to exploit Naruto's signature style to catch the team off guard.

As the shadows danced among the trees, Team 7 moved cautiously through the dense forest.

Unbeknownst to them, Oboro, disguised as Naruto, attempted to mimic the blond ninja's carefree swagger. 

Sasuke's keen perception kicked in, and his Sharingan detected the subtle inconsistencies in "Naruto's" movements. He narrowed his eyes and quietly alerted the team.

Oboro, realizing his cover was blown, shed the disguise and confronted Team 7. Naruto, grinning, exclaimed, "Nice try, but you can't fool us!"

The forest erupted in a flurry of movement as Team 7 engaged with Team Oboro. Sakura showcased her formidable strength, by cheering for her Sasuke kun from the side. Sasuke focused on Oboro, determined to settle the score.

The two clashed in a whirlwind of taijutsu and shuriken. Sasuke's Sharingan dissected Oboro's movements, anticipating each strike. 

Naruto soon joined the fight. Not even understanding what's going on.

Naruto narrowed his eyes, he really wanted to try out Rasengan but he still hadn't figured it out. Actually, he can form Rasengan, Shikamaru told him how he can use his clones to make the Rasengan for himself. But only when he absolutely has to. 

Otherwise, he promised Shikamaru that he wouldn't use the techniques until he fully mastered them and could make the rotating ball of chakra with just one hand. 

Shikamaru trained Naruto to make him stronger early on, if this guy still kept on using his clones to form Rasengan then what was the point? 

The only reason he told the blond the Shadow Clone method was to give him an option just in case. After all, Shikamaru knows what happened in the forest of death. 

While Naruto was torn between using his new technique or not, Sasuke ended the battle. 

"Fire Style, Fire Ball Jutsu," Sasuke shouted and sent a giant fireball toward Oboro. It might even have worked but he Oboro technique was tricky. Sasuke just opened his clone earlier and didn't have much experience with Genjutsu. The combined use of real clones and just genjutsu clones was hard to comprehend. 

Especially to find the real shinobi.

But in the end, Oboro the shinobi who was wearing a gas mask for some reason was forced to run away.

"Oi, don't run. Come on I will beat you," Naruto shouted fuming that he didn't get a chance to fight against the enemy shinobi and show one up to Sasuke. His Sakura Chan then would leave that Teme and understand just how awesome he is.

Unknown to them, at this time another trouble was moving towards them. Far away from Team 7, a Kusa Kunoichie was rushing to the position where Team 7 was. 

Long tongue came out as she could sense the blood in the air. This Kunoichie was not a woman at all, well the body was a female but in reality, the person whom the boy belonged to died long ago. 

The owner of this person is none other than the S-rank shinobi Orochimaru. 

"Ku ku ku ku ku," A strange laugh came from her/him and once again she rushed to where team 7 was. Unknown to him, there was a giant bird with the face of a human flying high up in the sky, tracking his every movement.

Shikamaru's clone almost reaches the village. Now just finding the Jonins is the important thing. So with all his speed. The clone rushed out and started to look around. Technically speaking they should be together somewhere drinking or talking or something.

"Tch, this is such a drag. Troublesome Chunin Exam, Troublesome Pedophiles and Jonins." Clone exactly copied Shikamaru and said with a lazy expression.

But he was not being lazy at all. After all this could be a matter of life and death for team 7.
