Naruto wasn't afraid. He knew he needed to guide this energy in the right way. He focused on controlling his chakra and directing this powerful energy to circulate through his body.
Over time, he began to feel a sense of euphoria and power flowing through his veins.
The first three levels of the martial path were skin refinement, muscle refinement, and tendon refinement. Naruto knew this from the vast knowledge he had acquired from the novel he had read.
Even though he couldn't be considered a beginner, since he wasn't an ordinary human, in terms of the martial path, he was still at the beginning of his journey.
Naruto felt the energy flowing through his body as skin refinement began. He watched in amazement as dead skin receded, giving way to firmer, more vibrant skin.
His body seemed to be glowing with a gentle, comforting light. It was incredible to think that these small red spheres could have such incredible power.
After an hour and a half, Naruto opened his eyes, with a look of excitement on his face. He grabbed the other red sphere and swallowed it without hesitation, feeling the energy start to flow through his body again.
Skin refinement continued, and Naruto felt an incredible sense of strength and power flowing through his veins.
The sun rose on the horizon, emitting a soft red glow that slowly spread through Naruto's room. Accompanied by the sound of birds singing cheerfully, a gentle breeze entered through the window, bringing with it the radiant morning sun.
Naruto opened his eyes, feeling a wave of excitement run through his body. The two small spheres he had acquired allowed him to refine his skin. Although he still had half the way to go, the power he had achieved so far was definitely greater than what he had yesterday.
For Naruto, this was only a small victory, but it made a qualitative difference in his body.
At that moment, Naruto felt a strange sensation in his body. He looked down and noticed that the black dirt was coming off his skin, emitting a putrid smell. It was the legendary marrow-cleansing, which Naruto had heard of in his novel readings.
The smell was so bad that Naruto had spasms in his mouth and immediately ran to the bathroom, where he started taking a shower. The warm water jet that fell on his head brought immediate relief, relaxing his tense mind.
After the shower, Naruto started drying himself off while looking at himself in the mirror. His skin was now whiter and smoother after removing all impurities. He even dared to think that his skin might be better than Sasuke's. Would he be jealous if he saw this?
Naruto shook his head, feeling foolish for thinking of competing with Sasuke in terms of appearance. He knew that he was now different, with memories of another life and experiences, he was no longer the same.
However, these thoughts were soon replaced by the sad memory of his sensei, Jiraiya. He felt a tightness in his chest as he remembered his sensei's tragic end.
"Nagato..." Naruto whispered, feeling a flood of conflicting emotions. He remembered how Nagato used to be before becoming the leader of the Akatsuki, before being controlled by the one who called himself "Madara".
Naruto knew that Nagato had been manipulated, and that, somehow, he had lost his way. But even so, Naruto could not ignore the fact that Nagato had been responsible for Jiraiya's death, his beloved sensei and a father figure to him.
Naruto's emotions were confused and disordered. He felt sad for the loss of Jiraya, but also felt deep compassion for Nagato and his struggle for a better world.
Naruto's mind was in turmoil. There were too many things to process and he felt like his head was about to explode. But he knew he needed to confront these issues head-on and find a way to move forward.
Unfortunately, his sources of energy, the red orbs, had run out and he no longer had the red spheres to help him keep his mind occupied. He got up from the meditation position and looked around the room, trying to find some other way to calm himself down.
Naruto let out a long sigh, feeling a mixture of anxiety and determination pulsing in his chest. He knew he needed to do something to change his situation, so he decided it was time to go out.
His eyes scanned the closet as he looked for his favorite clothes. His fingers found the orange shirt with the white stripe in the middle, the black pants with the orange stripes, and the black leather jacket with the Uzumaki symbol on the back. Naruto put on the pants and tied the orange stripes around them, as was his custom. He knew his clothes were an extension of his personality, and he felt more confident wearing his favorite combination.
With the black leather jacket in hand, Naruto slid his arms through the holes and adjusted the collar. He gave himself one last look in the mirror, making sure the Uzumaki symbol was prominently displayed on the back of the jacket. It was a tribute to his parents, who had died when he was still a baby.
As he got ready to leave, the sound of the doorbell rang. Naruto walked to the door, opening it to find his friend Shikamaru on the other side.
"Shikamaru," said Naruto, his voice a little hoarse with emotion. "Do you need something, dattebayo?"
He said, "For starters... Can you let me in?"
Shikamaru entered Naruto's room with a conflicted expression. He knew Naruto wasn't doing well, but he seemed to have something very important to discuss when he asked to come in. Naruto nodded, allowing his friend to enter.
"It's the same as what happened in the anime..." thought Naruto, convinced once again that everything was real.
After they entered the room, Naruto sat on the bed and Shikamaru on the floor, handing him a photo.
"Does something come to mind?" asked Shikamaru.
"Should I just tell him?" Naruto thought.
"Yeah, I think I know what this means," Naruto replied.
"Seriously?" Shikamaru expressed surprise, standing up.
