"I accept! I mean. .
. y-yes.
" Hinata agreed, a bit dazed and confused.
Naruto sat in a chair around the table and gestured for her to sit next to him. Internally, he chuckled a bit.
Initially, Hinata felt quite nervous, but as she saw the seriousness with which Naruto was teaching her, she managed to relax a bit. She was also very disciplined and absorbed Naruto's teachings with great seriousness.
When Naruto concluded the explanation, he demonstrated how the technique worked in practice.
Natural Energy (a large amount wasn't necessary; a talented ninja could gather what was needed) combined with chakra resulted in an arc of energy.
In Naruto's hand, extended a few centimeters from the table, an arc of orange light formed. A sound reminiscent of the hum of a lightsaber (similar to the noise of a stopped film projector) could be heard.
The shape of the arc and the arrow resembled a standard bow, 150 cm in length, including the span.
As he pulled the string, an arrow began to form, echoing shrill sounds of the wind as the energy condensed.
"Naruto-kun, isn't this getting dangerous?" Hinata questioned. She could feel the intensity of the power emanating from the arrow being formed in the light arc.
"You're right," Naruto agreed and thought of something. "Okay, can you open the window for me?"
"Mm. " Hinata quickly got up and walked to the window in the room.
When she opened it, Naruto appeared beside her, pulling the luminous string of the bow even further. Naruto then released it, and the light arrow with a trail of light blue wind shot toward the sky.
The sound of the shot merged with a loud, high-pitched whistle.
Hinata covered her ears but kept her eyes fixed on the shot arrow, even activating her Byakugan for a clearer observation.
She noticed that the arrow had already traveled kilometers in the blink of an eye!
"Oh my God, Naruto, this is incredible!" She began to make various calculations and strategies in her mind.
If she mastered the technique, she would become extremely powerful and could walk proudly alongside Naruto, supporting him while he was on the front lines.
With these thoughts, her maiden heart beat stronger in her chest. She could hardly wait to master this technique.
With a gesture from Naruto, he made the arrow explode by clenching his fist.
*Boom!*
A loud sound reverberated throughout the village.
Naruto began to feel a slight regret. He imagined that his action might unnecessarily worry the villagers and even attract Tsunade's attention if she found out he was responsible.
"Is that true?" Naruto finally responded, "Even I'm surprised. "
He wasn't expecting such a big effect. Perhaps he had underestimated the amount of Natural Energy and chakra he had used.
. .
His mother's voice in his mind was also hysterical about it, even giving suggestions to improve the technique.
"Are you sure I can learn this technique?" Hinata asked cautiously. She believed that this technique could easily be classified as at least A+ rank, even S rank.
"Yes, I mentioned that before, didn't I?" Naruto replied, smiling at her.
Hinata felt a warmth in her heart. Her face flushed with emotion as she felt a strong impulse to hug Naruto.
Over the next few hours, Naruto delved into the technique with Hinata until late afternoon.
"I think I should go now. .
. " Hinata said, noticing that night was falling.
"Well, I can accompany you. " Naruto stood up.
"Thank you. " Hinata smiled.
Although still somewhat shy, after talking with him for several hours, she felt more at ease by his side.
They arrived at the entrance of the Hyuga Clan in just a few minutes.
During the journey, Hinata had several things on her mind. She reflected on how she would learn the technique and how happy she had felt on that tiring day.
Everything still seemed incredibly surreal to her. However, she wished that day would never end.
. .
That's why she felt sad when they stopped in front of the clan's entrance.
"Goodbye, Hinata. " Naruto bid farewell with his captivating smile.
"If you have any questions, you can find me, alright?"
"Can I, really?" Hinata asked, cautiously.
"Of course, you're always welcome to do so," Naruto replied.
"Ohh. " It seemed like she was daydreaming again, as she stood there without responding or even blinking.
Naruto chuckled and approached her. In a gentle yet slightly swift manner for Kushina's taste, Naruto kissed Hinata's right cheek.
"That, that. .
. " Hinata's face blushed, and her mind seemed on the verge of exploding!
With her hand on her own face, Hinata widened her eyes as she looked at Naruto, who was staring at her, and she saw him laugh in a way that almost made her heart jump out of her chest.
"Haha, goodbye, Hinata!" Naruto said, turning around and starting to walk with his hands behind his head.
On the other hand, Hinata stood stunned in place. She watched Naruto move away while trying to comprehend the situation she was in.
Did that really happen? She wondered.
However, she could still feel the moisture of Naruto's lips on her face. Her heart beat rapidly as she pressed the technique book against her chest.
"Oh my God, oh my God!" Hinata couldn't calm down. Everything happened so quickly and suddenly that she could only speak when Naruto turned the corner, but she could still see him as she activated her Byakugan.
Upon arriving home, Hinata went straight to her room, locking the door behind her. Her heart was racing, and her breath was uneven.
Throwing herself face down on the bed, she kicked her feet against the mattress while emitting some strange sounds. .
. It was then that she felt something in the pocket of her shorts and reached out to grab it.
"What is this?" Hinata whispered to herself.
It was a small blue cloth bag. When she opened it, Hinata blinked at its contents: a few small, shiny red stones and something that seemed to be a folded note.
