Third-person POV.
When Madara entered his camp it was a little past midnight. Chilly, night breeze was strolling in the silent camp. All of the Uchiha were deep asleep or on guard duty and since the person who entered was their clan head, they didn't leave their posts.
Madara slowly walked to his place, the biggest tent in the camp. While passing through many tents he sometimes heard snores and quiet moans of the wounded.
'It's okay. Please hold out till tomorrow morning. Help will arrive soon." Madara bit his lip and continued to move.
He soon arrived in front of his tent and was about to reach the curtain, but stopped midway. A gentle smile appeared on his tired face.
"Come out, Fukushū."
A young man emerged from the shadow of the nearby tent and approached Madara with a slight pout on his face.
"Sensei, just how much more should I practice to finally be able to creep behind you?"
"Heh, you are a thousand years too early to do that! But good job. Your progress is terrifying. If it wasn't for my superior battle experience, you would probably have a greater chance."
Madara happily raffled short, spiky, black hair of his genius student. At first, when this youth came to him 5 years ago and asked for training, Madara didn't pay much attention to him. But Fukushū never gave up and after a month he challenged Madara on the duel. If he would win, Madara takes him as his pupil. Madara underestimated him and lowered the stake to 'if you manage to scratch my cheek or cut away some of my hair, it is your win'...
Fukushū used every tramp card he had and was forced to use his hidden weapon, Mangekyou Sharingan. When Madara saw it he was a little shocked and a little slow to fully dodge Fukushū's attack. Few strings of hair flew in the air and a millimetre deep scratch was placed on Madara's face.
'Well, he collapsed right after the fight because of overusing his MS though. I will never forget his face when he woke up and learnt that he became my student.'
A smirk appeared on Madara's face, cousin Fukushū to pout even more.
"Hey, Fukushū, still pouting like a little baby girl~? I thought that when you turned 17, you declared that you are an adult~"
"Sensei!" Angry and embarrassed Fukushū instantly turned his face and met Madara's teasing gaze head-on.
"Okay, you are a big boy. Let's go to sleep." Madara was about to enter the tent where Izuna was sound asleep when Fukushū called out to him.
"Sensei, where were you? You left in the evening and returned after midnight. Did you really go to meet that anomaly of a being? Did.." Fukushū's eyes were instantly filled with disgust and deep, boiling hatred, " those trashy Senju go as well?"
Madara wasn't surprised to see the face of his student. Many lose their dear ones in the war, but Fukushū lost everything. His mother, father, friends and four siblings, two elder sisters and two younger brothers. His entire family is just another particle of the past now. Madara let out a heavy sigh and faced his student.
"I went to meet her, but she wasn't there. All of this time I spend searching for her through the entire forest but didn't find anything." Madara lied. He couldn't let anyone know about the plan just yet. 'Not yet. Not just yet. I'll have to wait for a few more days and this hell will end.'
"Good. It is much better not to meet any of the two, be it Senju or the girl!" MS appeared in Fukushū's eyes, slowly rotating in the orbits.
"Calm down Fukushū. On the fourth day from now on, we will attack the Senju clan again and the tables will turn." Madara smiled with glee and anticipation. "I'll fight Senju's leader Hashirama without holding anything back and we will see, who is going to be the one to lose!"
"Why not attack tomorrow?" Fukushū asked in confusion.
"Our fighting power is lacking, so we need to wait for the wounded to heal to an acceptable degree. Fukushū, I'm not only a shinobi. I am the clan head of the Great Uchiha clan, so my job is to protect all of you. Now go on. You also need to rest and recover from your injuries."
Madara entered his tent, leaving Fukushū alone in the night.
"Senju clan, it would be better for you to prepare. In three days, I will avenge my family and friends." Fukushū slowly left in the direction of the place where he slept.
"Forgive me, Fukushū."
*************************
I laid on my back staring into the dark space inside of my tent.
"Both sides have some heavily wounded people that most probably will only last for 1-2 days at most. Looks like tomorrow's objective will have an additional quest. Huh...."
There were reasons why I didn't follow Hashirama and Tobirama into their camp. Firstly, I would stand out a lot and it will make my movements restricted. I would be viewed from every angle possible and even if I manage to fool them, they would still be wary of someone who fell from the sky...
And second of all, I wouldn't be able to rest even a little bit there. All of the negative emotions and pain will certainly overflow in the camp in a warring period. My senses would keep me awake even if I wanted to sleep and the tension would only lead to more exhaustion. I hate being so sensitive, but I have to admit, it did save my life a few times. Some beast-tribe assassins were sent at some point and constantly being surrounded by the nobles of the highest ranks, would be extremely difficult if I could not grasp the changes in their mood and aura... back to the topic at hand.
'Okay, so first thing in the morning, I go to Senju and Uchiha clans and heal those who are heavily wounded. I don't want anyone to lose any more of their precious people. Next will be memory extraction and then the rest of the day will be me laying on the ground, arranging the information I'll get. "
Once the plans for tomorrow were made, I ventured into the world of dreams where once again was met by my past.

A three-year-old girl was running away from a beast soldier that was chasing after her. She was holding onto the scroll tightly, afraid to let go off of it, for this was her last present from her parents. The soldier soon caught up to a little girl. Grabbing her small torso, he threw her into the tree causing the scroll to leave hands of a tiny girl. A beast soldier picked up the scroll with a mocking smirk on his face and this was the last moment he saw the light of the day, for his life force was sucked into the scroll. A mummified body collapsed on the ground. A girl slowly stood up, picked up the scroll and ran in the direction of the capital with tears of terror falling from her eyes.
