Taking A Women's Heart

"Hmm... This is interesting," Naruto thought as he sat on a branch of a tree near where Karin was getting beaten up and watched her struggle.

Naruto liked watching people fight like ants; he didn't know why, but it was just a hobby of his.

You could even say he had created a system in his past life, like the ancient Romans, to make people fight each other like gladiators.

Minutes passed, and Karin was now beaten to the point where some of her bones had cracks on them and were on the verge of breaking.

It was understandable since her opponents were in their late teens and had more experience than her. Her teammates had basically sold her out for their lives and run away.

"You stupid ass dumb bitch! You want to become a Chunin? Your position is that of a dishwasher," one of the men beating Karin said as he grabbed her hair and slammed her into the tree.

"Die, bit—" The man was just about to hit Karin again, but before he could, he received a kick to his neck, which killed him instantly.

Naruto had kicked him, using Ice Release to make small spikes appear on his boot. As soon as they went inside the man's neck, they froze his entire throat, killing him. The sudden attack made a sharp crackling sound, followed by a chilling silence.

"Wh—" The best buddy of the man who had just been killed was about to attack Naruto, but a classic kick to the balls stopped him.

The kick was so strong it practically made his balls explode, with Naruto using Ice Release once again. A sickening crunch accompanied the attack, followed by a high-pitched scream that quickly died out.

"Are you okay?" Naruto, his legs now covered in blood, asked Karin with a caring expression on his face. It was so genuine that anyone who didn't know Naruto personally might believe he wasn't acting.

"H-huh?" Karin, still in shock, could barely respond. Just moments ago, she had been getting gang-beaten by these two men, and now the kid in front of her had killed them.

He had unalived them like it was nothing.

"I-I am okay now," Karin lied to Naruto's face. She wasn't okay; some of her bones had cracks, and even Naruto knew this.

But firstly, he didn't give a shit, and secondly, he was just trying to make Karin think he had saved her by coincidence and that he cared about her, a stranger.

"Oh... I'm glad to hear that," Naruto said with a very genuine-looking smile.

He then helped her get up with his right hand, and Karin blushed a little. Despite having been beaten mercilessly moments ago, she was now blushing because a "hero" had come to save her.

Though if one of her bones were really broken, she wouldn't be able to blush like she was now.

"May I know your name? Mine is Naruto," he said after helping Karin up from the ground.

"M-My name is Karin," she replied in a stuttering tone.

"Karin? That's a beautiful name," Naruto proceeded to shamelessly praise her name. Though he wanted to say it was a lame name like her mother, he suppressed his urge for a moment.

But after that, both of them went dead calm—like, really dead calm, even more than 100 introverts in a room. Karin was getting flustered; it was her first time being complimented, while Naruto just stared at her.

He always found this red-haired bitch annoying to deal with. In fact, he found everyone annoying to deal with. He usually just killed anyone he found annoying and moved on.

His philosophy was "Let's not talk about my evil past let's talk about my evil future" 

"Karin-chan, do you want to get a checkup by a doctor? Or do you want to continue this test?" Naruto said, breaking the silence between them.

Karin thought about it. Her teammates had run away, her scroll was stolen, and if she tried to complete this test alone, she was bound to get beaten up again.

Seeing her complicated expression, Naruto just said, "Excuse me," before carrying her and starting to run toward the tower to get her treatment. Though it was all part of his plan to manipulate her, it was okay.

As soon as Naruto left, a boy with blonde hair jumped down from the tree and muttered, "That was boring, to be honest." It was Naruto who had jumped down from the tree.

The one who saved Karin was just a clone. Naruto was too lazy to help her directly, and touching her would mean having to clean himself afterward.

"Don't you think so...?" Naruto then looked towards a bush, and a woman in her late teens stepped out. She was the third partner of the two men Naruto's clone had killed.

Being a camper-type shinobi, she had been hiding, only to witness the clone kill her partners and then another Naruto appear after the first left.

"P-Please let me live... I promise not to tell anyone about this and will always remember your kindness in my heart," the woman pleaded for her life, sure that Naruto would kill her.

"Okay..." Naruto said with a Saitama-like expression and face, making the woman's face light up. But then he added, "Just kidding." As soon as he said it, he ripped out the woman's heart in an instant, cooking it with flames that erupted from his hand.

"Finally, some good fucking food!" Naruto muttered as he took a bite of the heart he had just extracted and cooked.

You could say he loved eating humans, or in fact, any species, since according to him, if humans weren't supposed to be eaten, why were they made out of food?

'This thing would have tasted good with salt,' Naruto thought as he swallowed the entire heart in a single move, chewing it like Luffy from One Piece.

"Sigh... this is boring again," Naruto muttered, standing in the middle of the Forest of Death, contemplating his next move.

He didn't have to worry about getting caught since he had sent his clone with Karin to pretend to be him, just as he had planned.

"Looks like I'll just hunt down some more Genins," Naruto said as an ice sword appeared in his hand. It was clear now that pretty much everyone in the Chunin Exams with unique abilities was in serious trouble.
