Prologue : Death

I'm someone with no writing experience, so please do not expect much :D

From the pitch black alleyway, a figure appeared, spouting profanities.

"Shit! I won't have time for my 8 hours of sleep! I knew I shouldn't have partied with my friends when it was already late..."

He was desperate to get back home after a long night's of self-indulgence. Running was the only thing he was focused on, nearly tripping over his untied laces multiple times.

Luck was never a friend to this particular man. It always managed to fuck him over somehow.

*Trip*

"Awh fuck. Welp, I knew this was going to happen."

*Thud*

"Hm? I'm not dead? Oh yeah, thank goodness to soil!"

Seperating him from destiny was a garden, or in better terms, a small rectangle of grassland infront of someone's house.

Getting up, he let out a sigh. A pathway came into his vision, which he fittingly nicknamed 'Black Hole Way'. This is because no matter how hard anyone tried, they could never see anything in it unless they ventured in.

It was a shortcut to his residence, however it was often too ominous to explore for a scaredy-cat like himself.

"Maybe I can get my proper night's sleep if I go down that... Oh, come on Matt stop being such a coward!"

With this proclaimation, Matt begun to voyage the darkness.
