Chapter 56 - Learning inner gates

Sakumo became very worried about the future. Finn can the worried look on his face. To comfort Sakumo, "Sensei don't worry, in this 3 years I will train and increase my power. So the first step to increase my power is to learn the eight inner gates."

"Finn why you didn't inform lord hokage about this?" Sakumo knew that Finn only mentioned that he defeated the water monsters which came from a gate. When the killed all the water monsters the gate closed itself.

"I didn't wanted to make the Lord Hokage even more stressed. I was planning on dealing with the upcoming calamity alone. I am confident that as long as I train my power I can definitely fight and even defeat them." Finn also felt that he hasn't completely learned about the Tenseigan powers.

'I hardly even used the Tenseigan abilities. In a fight I mostly use depend on my speed and strength. As much I hate to admit it I never truly used the Tenseigan powers or never tried to explore its abilities. Looks like I have to stop depending on the system and try to master all the powers and skills I currently possess.'

"Finn for now I think we should not tell Lord Hokage about this matter. After the 3rd ninja war ends, I will tell the 4th hokage, Minato and prepare ourselves for the upcoming." Finn agreed with Sakumo.

"Don't worry. Sensei I will become much much stronger and surpass our ancestors" Finn had a determined look on his face.

"Finn if there is someone who can surpass the God of shinobi and the ghost of Uchiha then it's you. You're most talented genius I have ever seen. So I am placing my hope on you." Finn truly felt touched by this teacher's words.

After that Finn went to find Might guy who almost killed Madara in his last stage. Finn had deep admiration for guy and that's why he became friends with Guy when.

As expected Finn found Guy training in his tent, doing push ups. Finn smiled and approached Guy.

"Guy how are you doing?" Finn asked as he entered the tent. The tent was big enough to let 4 ninjas live comfortably.

"Nothing but training. I want to caught up to you my rival."

"....When did I became your rival? What about Kakashi then?"

"You and Kakashi are my two biggest rival. One day i will definitely try to surpass you using my taijutsu." Guy gave Finn thumb up pose then continued to work out.

'Guyu may be stupid but his pure and straight forward character is what I like most about him.'

"Guy I want to ask you about eight inner gates? I want to learn eight inner gates." Guy stopped doing push ups and looked at Finn with serious face.

"It's ok, if you don't want someone outsider to learn the technique your father created. I know it might sound selfish but I need more strength and eight inner gates is the perfect technique to power up." Finn spoke every word sincerely and now it was upto Guy to decide.

"You see Finn I am more than happy to let you learn the eight inner gates but the problem is learning inner gates takes lots of training..no in some cases years of training. Not only that opening inner gates might also do damage to the user's body. I can teach the method of learning the inner gates and rest will depend on your training." Finn bowed to Guy and was very grateful to him.

"No need bow, we are friends aren't we?" Guy smiled and said. Finn nodded in response.

'With my half dragon body I should able to withstand the damage done by inner gates.' Finn thought.

"Finn sit down, it will few hours to explain everything about this technique." Finn nodded

"The Eight Gates exist in order to limit the flow of chakra within an individual's body. Ordinarily, individuals can use no more than 20% of their body's full potential, the brain's way of protecting the individual from harming their body through overexertion. With training, individuals can learn to remove these limiters, referred to as "opening" the gates. With each opened gate, individuals are given access to more and more of their body's chakra, thus increasing their physical strength and speed"

The Gate of Opening (Kaimon), located in the brain's left hemisphere, removes the user's mental inhibitions. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Front Lotus, a technique that tires them afterwards.

The Gate of Healing (Kyūmon: The Gate of Rest), located in the brain's right hemisphere, increases the user's physical strength. This has the added effect of re-energising the body, enabling it to rapidly recover from exhaustion.

The Gate of Life (Seimon), located on the spinal cord, turns the user's skin red when opened. Other effects include the user's pupils disappearing, their hair standing on end, and bulging veins all over their body. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Reverse Lotus.

The Gate of Pain (Shōmon) is located on the spinal cord.

The Gate of Limit (Tomon: The Gate of Closing) is located in the abdomen.

The Gate of View Keimon: The Gate of Joy), located in the stomach, increases all the user's abilities. The power that emanates from the user is enough to displace surrounding bodies of water. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock, wherein the user's punches are so fast that friction with the air produces flames.

The Gate of Wonder (Kyōmon: The Gate of Shock), located below the stomach, causes the user's body to secrete a blue sweat. The sweat immediately evaporates, creating an aura around the user that can be mistaken for chakra. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger, a single punch that creates a pocket of compressed air.

The Gate of Death (Shimon) is located at the heart. Users open this gate by puncturing their chest with their thumb in order to direct the chakra there. While open, the user's heart pumps at maximum speed, granting them power a hundred times greater than they are usually capable of, far beyond that of the Five Kage. A "Steam of Blood" (Chi no Jōki) is emitted from the user's pores and hair, resembling a flaming red aura. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Evening Elephant and Night Guy. The eighth gate causes the body to continually heat up until it's been cooked from the inside-out, reducing the user to ash.

Finn left after Guy explained everything to Finn. Finn immediately started his training by doing push ups and other physical exercises which was very easy to do. Even after doing exercise for 1 hour, Finn did not feel any exhaustion or anything. Finn hardly broke any sweat after doing all this exercises.

"Mia explain"

[Master your stamina, strength is way above average, even a dragon male wouldn't have that much stamina.]

"Then how I am suppose to learn the inner gates?" Finn felt frustrated.

[Master you are stupid or what, as guy said the each inner gates has a shackle which needs to be broken before. To break the shackle one needs to temper their body with training.]

"You are basically saying that my body is already strong enough to break the shackles of inner gates."

[Yes, although I am not sure how many gates master can open at your current form. But if my guess is correct then you should theoretically able to open till the fifth inner gate.]
