Chapter 135 - Dinner plans

This week Kushina was very busy. Mainly because she was training to master the ninjutsu techniques that Lord Hiruzen gave her. And there was also Finn, she needed to make Chakra sealing scrolls for him.

"I wonder if I can freely control wind element to the extent where I am able to use any release any wind related Jutus without using hand sign." Kushina had heard that Finn had perfected his elemental control and can release any ninjutsu without using hand sign.

"Even though this boy is younger than me by years, yet his talent, experience, rank, powers everything is superior than any genius of Konoha. No Uchiha clan genius can even stand in the same league as Finn. Even the current 4th cannot stand in front of Finn." Finn killing more than 15,000 shinobi in a single day with one and only strike is enough to prove who has more power. Minato managed to kill 1,000 shinobi of hidden rock and that was all.

"In terms power, speed, strength Finn is clearly above Minato."Kushina looked back hearing the voice.

It was retired Hokage Hiruzen. He was smoking and walking towards Kushina.

"I would have chosen Finn as my successor but I didn't do it for two reasons. First Finn is not a someone who belongs from Konoha so if Finn were to be chosen as the Hokage candidate many people who have questioned Finn and criticised him. It would take time for people to accept that Finn is also a part of Konoha.

2nd, Finn is very mature for his age. In fact when I talk to him, I feel like I am taking to a adult. But at the end of day his age will also become a factor which will make some clans leaders openly criticize Finn. So that's why I chose Minato. I think his calm and intelligent character makes Minato very suitable for the position."

Hiruzen then looked at the sky and said." Finn is too young. When I became the Hokage I was also very young and ended up making lots of stupid mistakes which till this day I regret. I want Finn to succeed Minato as the fifth. So when Minato retires Finn will grow up and become even more mature."

"Lord 3rd what are you doing here? Did you get into a fight with your wife or something?" These days Hiruzen very rarely left his house. He was trying to make up for all the times he missed with his wife, including sex life.

Cough! Cough!

Hiruzen coughed hearing the red haired woman question.

"No, it's about Asuma. He is angry with me because I tried to motivate him to train harder by using Finn as an example. But Asuma misunderstood my intention and thought I was favoring Finn too much."

Sigh!

Hiruzen sat on a rock and exhaled the smoke of tobacco.

"You know Kushina, I am called the Professor because I had mastered almost all the jutsu in my prime and could use 5 elements simultaneously. But unfortunately, my son couldn't inherit even 10 percent of my powers and talent. Also I kind of neglected him with all the works I had to do as the Hokage which led Asuma to become narrow minded and have temper issues."

Currently Hiruzen was not speaking as the proud 3rd Hokage of the Leaf. Instead he was speaking as the failed father. Kushina understood this point.

"Lord 3rd, I think instead of trying to motivate Asuma by comparing him with other geniuses, you should try to motivate Asuma with a different approach that does not compare Asuma with others." Hiruzen also agreed with Kushina.

Hiruzen then looked at Kushina and continued. "You're also one of my regrets Kushina. I bought you here from your village, I shouldn't have neglected you, this resulted you wasting so much time in doing nothing. I know a sorry won't make you forgive me. I cannot return your time back to you but I can guide your training personally and compensate you even if it is a little." Kushina looked at Hiruzen and just smiled.

Kushina looked at Hiruzen eyes and said. "Sometimes I am really angry with you lord 3rd but understanding that you had a village protect sometimes you are needed to play the villain to protect others. I can understand that. But I won't forgive, I am not even asking you to compomsate me or apologize to me. No, I don't want that. Currently I am trying to find a true purpose in life. I wish to start a new beginning."Kushina wanted a new revolution, a change in her life. Something that will make her feel truly alive.

Sigh!

Hiruzen could only sigh and pray for Kushina's well being and bright future.

"Kushina how much have you progressed with your training?" Before Kushina answer, Finn appeared in front of Hiruzen and Kushina. Both Hiruzen and Kushina at first couldn't recognize who this man was. Only after few seconds of observation Kushina and Hiruzen realized this was Finn.

"Good afternoon Lord 3rd and Kushina." Finn looked at Hiruzen and Kushina.

"Before you ask what happened to my hair or my eyes color, my body went through a mutation type change after a eating a rare plant which I thought was a herb." Finn wanted to keep other identity a secret. He doesn't wants to freak them out by telling them he is a blood sucker.

Surprisingly Hiruzen and Kushina believed in his words.

Kushina swallowed the question she was going to ask since Finn already had answered her.

"Lord 3rd, what are you doing here?" Finn asked. He didn't think Hiruzen would be here.

"I was here to guide Kushina in her training but since you're here I will take my leave." Hiruzen can see that Kushina looked extra happy and lively seeing Finn. 'Maybe Finn could... No...if Kushina can accept Finn without thinking about their age gap then maybe something will be possible. Both will make a interesting and lovely couple.' Hiruzen chuckled thinking about Kushina's future.

"Lord 3rd, Actually I wanted to pass something to you. Please tell Lord 4th about it." Finn's words made Hiruzen pause. Hiruzen expression turned serious.

"It's the hidden Rock village. It might look they are in weakened state because of 3rd great war but in reality they still have enough power to go against war with three others villages." Hiruzen began to think carefully if what Finn said is true then Konoha cannot let its guard down.

"Few days ago, I entered the land of Earth territory to find the 4 tails host. At that time I was ambushed and attacked by Onoki and the 4tails host. I defeated them but didn't kill them." The reason Finn had let Hiruzen know about this because he wanted Konoha to be in his side if Onoki tries to threaten Finn or the Village. Also it was better to let Hiruzen know about this than Hiruzen finding about this news from someone else.

Hiruzen looked at Finn and asked in serious tone. "Finn why did you look for Roshi?" Finn couldn't tell them his actual reason for finding Roshi so he had to lie.

"It's about the Akatsuki. Even though I defeated the leader and most of the members of Akatsuki, I have found that there is someone who was controlling everything from behind. He was controlling Nagato."

Hiruzen understood what Finn wanted to say. "You feared that Akatsuki will target other village tail beasts. The disappearance of a tail beast could again start the war which you didn't want to happen." Finn didn't expect Hiruzen to say the rest for him.

"Yes." Finn was not going to deny it. Kushina looked surprised hearing the conversation between Finn and Hiruzen.

"Well done. We can sleep at peace knowing that you're protecting the village from outside." Hiruzen patted Finn's shoulder.

"It's my duty as the Leaf Shinobi."

"I will report everything to 4th Hokage. I won't interrupt you two anymore." Hiruzen then quickly disappeared.

Finn turned to Kushina who also happened to look at him. "How are you doing Kushina?" Finn asked.

"I am doing better than before. It's all thanks to you." Kushina before didn't had much to do other than making sealing scrolls and earn money but now she could keep herself busy with training.

"Have you finished making all the scrolls I asked you to make?" Kushina nodded her head and then took out of a scroll and summoned something which surrounded by white smoke.

After the white smoke disappeared, Finn could see the remaining Chakra sealing scrolls." Here. I thought you would came tomorrow." Finn took the scrolls in his hands and kept them in his inventory.

Kushina seeing the scrolls suddenly disappearing, thought Finn had used teleportation to teleport the scrolls to another location.

"Thsnk you Kushina. If you anything let me know in advance I will try my best to do it." Hearing that Kushina smiled and asked. "Than take me to a expensive restaurant to have dinner. Only two of us." Finn didn't think much and agreed with Kushina.

"Okay. Let know one or two days before so that I can prepare myself" Finn now that had got what he wanted, he didn't waste another second to teleport to the next location.
