(THE LAND OF WAVES PART-27) BLOOD SHRED

(a/n: guys I am changing my writing style a little, and from now on the 1st piece of Zanpakuto will be called as soul shred and 2nd piece will be called as blood shred)

"time to get serious," Zabuza muttered to himself, he was shocked that Naruto could transform himself and increase his strength to the level of a jounin. he knew that he will need to end this battle quickly. he made a series of hand-signs and executed his jutsu.

stabilizing himself Zabuza executed one of his signature moves.

'SUITON: WATER EXPLODING WAVE'

a vortex appeared on the surface of the river, the vortex sucked the water in it and shot it toward Naruto with extreme pressure backing it up. seeing the high-pressure wave Naruto executed his own jutsu.

'FUTON: GALE HURRICANE'

similar to Zabuza, a white vortex materialize in front of him, just as the vortex appears, it starts to suck the surrounding air and then shot it toward water wave with high-pressure, the sharp wind travel toward water-wave with extremely high speed.

'BOOOOM'

both the attack met with each other in mid-air and caused a loud boom, after the contact was made they tried to force the opponent back, but they were unable to, seeing this Zabuza infused his water-style chakra into his water exploding wave, just as the attack got the boost it starts pushing Naruto's gale hurricane back, seeing this a frown appear on Naruto's face and infused his highly purified god of war chakra in his attack

'FUTON: GOD OF WAR: WIND INFUSION'

as he infused his chakra the colour hurricane changed from colourless to pale white and within moments this purified gale hurricane torned Zabuza's water wave, but it did not stop there and continued to move toward Zabuza.

"damn" Zabuza knew that if he takes this attack head on he will be severely injured, so he hurriedly dodged it, after dodging just as he was about to attack, he felt a presence behind him, he knew that it was bad, so he hurriedly used substitution jutsu and replaced himself with a wooden log, looking at his previous position he saw, one of Naruto's clone hitting the wooden log with a chakra infused sword. seeing this sweat dropped from his hand.

just as Zabuza stood up he saw Naruto executing another one of his futon jutsu.

'FUTON: SWORD OF THE WIND COUNT'

naruto raised his hand which was now completely white and slashed it down, because of the motion a sharp white wind blade was shot out, seeing this Zabuza pupil shrank, he could feel the power behind that attack and knew that he will not be able to block it with ordinary jutsu, realizing this his expression hardened and he executed his jutsu.

'SUITON: WATER SHIELD DOMAIN'

suddenly water came out from the ground and completely covered Zabuza in it forming a liquid sphere around him. this water shining with a blue hue, showing that it was saturated with water style chakra. 'boom' Naruto's wind slash crashed into the surface of the domain but was only able to leave behind a ripple. seeing this Naruto was surprised, he looked at Zabuza who was now panting due to severe chakra exhaustion.

"seems like this defensive jutsu ... consume too much chakra in exchange for providing absolute defence" Naruto thought, he knew that Zabuza will not be able to hold himself for much longer so he decided to end it with his next attack.

he raised his right hand and form a base Rasengan and then infused his purified wind-style chakra in it.

'FUTON: WIND RASENGAN'(it is not Reasenshuriken)

he jumped and crashed his wind Rasengan into the water sphere, Zabuza look at this with a serious look on his face, just as the attack and defence came in contact with each, the water inside the water shield start spinning due to Rasengan chakra rotation and soon enough the water starts to spread out and a hole was created in the shield and at that time the wind chakra present in the Rasengan blasted out and shattered that already crumbling water sphere, seeing that his absolute defense was broken, Zabuza knew that he was fucked up.

right now his body exhausted because of executing his last jutsu, and before he could react Naruto was already in front of him with a cold kunai on his neck.

"Zabuza-san you lost," Naruto said with a cheeky grin on his face, hearing this Zabuza's expression became shocked, he was shocked that Naruto was so good in controlling his wind transformation and that last attack wind Rasengan was completely out of his expectation.

just as the sword was about to explode, Naruto entered in his Kyuubi form in order to fend off the explosion. right now he was looking at the floating blood shred, seeing this his excitement grew, he looks toward Zabuza and Haku who were behind the ice wall, they both were looking at him with shocked expression on their faces, seeing that they ware unharmed he sighed and again put his attention to the floating blood shred, he slowly moved toward it, reaching there he looked at it for a moment and just as he was about to grab it something unexpected happened.

the soul shred inside Naruto's chest again sent out a soul pulse and just as blood shred came in contact with the pulse, it exploded with even more intense energy and shot itself toward Naruto's chest, as it came in contact with his chest a ripple was sent out and the metal sunk inside without damaging Naruto's skin.

seeing this a smile appear on Naruto's face but this smile disappeared the next moment, when he the blood inside his body was literally boiling, he collapsed on the ground while holding his chest, a sudden wave of pain hit him and 'aaaahhhh' a scream escaped from his mouth. feeling the danger he hurriedly asked system." system what the fuck is going on"
