-Six months later-
"Heh. FINALLY! I FINALLY DID IT!" I have finally figured out how use kamui and hirashin in tandem. Now, its almost inpossible for anyone to hit me because I can become incorporeal AND teleport.
In other news I have officially been Mito's disciple for six months, and the results are staggering. At the beginning, I was a beginner, but now I am an advanced practitioner of funjutsu. The ranks go like this: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, and Grandmaster. For reference, Mito and Ashina Uzumaki are grandmasters, and Kushina and original Minato were Masters.
Also, my clone hasn't been uncovered in an entire six months. I know what has happened at school because I dispel it every night, and there has been nothing notable.
But not everything has been dull. I've made a major breakthrough in chakra control, and can now perform medical ninjutsu with ease.
I'm going to graduate from ninja school. Yes, I want to get with Kushina, but I can wait until she gets kidnapped and then rescue her then. Making the plot exactly the same as the manga isn't worth wasting years of my time.
-At the Hokage's office-
I dispel my shadow clone and tell Hiruzen
"I want to graduate". He, surprisingly, doesn't look surprised.
"Sigh. Fine. Just pass the test." It's my turn to be surprised, and I rush out of the office, and into the classroom. It's empty except for the teacher.
"Hello sensei. I would like to apply to an early graduation." He looks shocked.
"But you only started coming half a year ago!?"
"I went to the Hokage and he said I could take the test!" I say with a bright smile.
"Fine, but I won't go easy on you just because you're six."
"Thank you sensei!"
He goes out of the classroom for 30 minutes. When he comes back, he has a chunin right behind him.
"Alright Minato. There are three parts to this test. The first part is a written test, The second is a combat test, and the third is a Jutsu test. Alright. Lest start the written part."
He hands me a piece of paper.
"You have an hour to finish."
The test is very basic and easy, and I finish in 25 minutes. When I finish I go up to the teacher and hand him my paper.
"I'm done"
"Huh? But its only been 26 minutes." He takes my paper and checks it, then walks out of the room. Ten minutes later, he comes back into the room and says
"You got a perfect score. It's amazing that you are only six. Come with me to the training grounds." I follow him, and when we arrive, I see the chunin standing there.
"This is the test. You will fight against this chunin, and he will determine if you pass or fail.
"Ok" I get into a fighting stance.
"Hey kid. I'll let you get in a free hit on me at the start." The chunin says.
I'm pissed off. Who is this fodder to tell me that I can get in a free hit. I mean, I'll take it, but I'll go all out.
I rush at him, and jump in the air
"Leaf whirlwind!" I shout.
I kick the chunin and he gets hurled back into the fence. His back his the fence, and he slides down it. Teacher is shocked.
"M-Minato wins."
Hm. Do you ever get that feeling of deja vu?
Sorry for the short chapter today...
I'll make a longer one next chapter, I promise.
But you see when it takes minato 25 minutes to finish the test and the proctor says it was 26 minutes? thats because minato took a minute to turn it in. Thats the attention to detail that you only get in this novel.
