Naruto: reborn as an Uzumaki

During his effort to save his cousin whom he was in love with from committing suicide, Tom died when the railing he was holding on to broke. But when he woke up, he was reborn as the son of an Uzumaki and an Uchiha. But he was not born in the hidden leaf, but rather in the hidden rain village. And because of clan issues, had to grow up away from his father and elder sister who presumably died in the Uchiha massacre. But fate had other plans. Sometime after he turned 15 and was about to turn 16, his life was completely changed in the span of two short days. The story from chapter 4 onwards takes place between the timeskip between the OG series and Shippuden, to be specific, six months before the beginning of Shippuden. Also while I did add the harem tag MC won't go around catching waifus like pokemon. There will be a very small harem in the future and I will take my sweet time developing it. So don't expect much until the pain arc. I don't own any of the characters except for the OC's I created. The cover image is ai generated. ---------------------------- Warning!!!!! There will be incest so keep that in mind while reading this. Also this book is a work in progress so there will be changes in the future, and I'm open to suggestions. And join my discord to meet other readers and discuss ideas about the story. I'd appreciate it. https://discord.gg/p2jzn8V3HP

Chapter 54:- I didn't know what to name this chapter so I just named it this

Weddings are exhausting! I was managing my sister-in-law's wedding as one of the few male members of her family and man it's a lot of work.

I haven't shat for two days.

It wouldn't have been so much of a trouble if my father-in-law wasn't the one planning everything. He's like an architect, making plans that look perfect in paper.

But impossible to make reality. And the worst part, the groom doesn't seem right. He was calm, too calm. This kind of person in my experience, happens to be really short tempered and rough in his personal life.

And he's like an intellectual, something I have zero good experiences with. I'm worried about the girl.

--------------------------------

As the tension eased, the group began to relax, their earlier concern replaced by a sense of camaraderie and relief.

Maki, her eyes still wide with a mix of relief and curiosity, turned to Akane. "Is this... the Mangekyo Sharingan ability you told me about?"

Akane nodded, her gaze steady as she looked at Kenshin. "Yes. Kenshin's right eye has the power of restoration. As long as the target's brain remains active, he can make it recover from any damage-no matter how severe. But it's not absolute; if the brain is damaged, there's nothing he can do."

Maki's eyes widened even further as she processed this information. "So, it's almost like an invincible ability, except for the brain..."

Akane gave a small nod of affirmation. "Yes, it's absolute for the most part. But there are limits. It's how he brought his mother back from the dead."

The others listened intently, absorbing the gravity of what they had just witnessed. The ability to heal from such devastating injuries was beyond anything they had encountered before.

As the group began to process what had just happened, a soft crunching sound echoed from behind them.

They turned to see a woman approaching, her short sky-blue hair framing a calm and cheerful expression. Her blue eyes sparkled with a mixture of curiosity and recognition as she took in the scene before her.

Akane immediately recognized her, her posture relaxing slightly. "Sensei…"

The others looked at Akane in surprise, while Maki's eyes lit up with recognition. "Sensei!"

Yuki smiled warmly as she joined the group, her gaze shifting to Kenshin. "It seems I arrived just in time to witness something quite remarkable," she said, her voice carrying a light, melodic quality.

Kenshin, still recovering from his recent ordeal, straightened up and offered a respectful nod. "Thank you, but it wasn't much."

Yuki waved a hand dismissively, her smile widening. "Don't be modest. What you just did was extraordinary." She paused, her gaze lingering on Kenshin's features. "You must be Kenshin, Akane's brother. I've heard about you."

Kenshin nodded again. "Yes, that's me. And you're Yuki-sensei, right? My sister and Maki have told you about you. Thank you for taking care of them."

Yuki's eyes twinkled with amusement. "All good things, I hope. Besides, I didn't take proper care of them, if I had, then he wouldn't have... anyways, that's something in the past. Don't worry about it."

She then looked more closely at Kenshin, her expression turning thoughtful. "You know, I once fought an Uzumaki during the Third Great Ninja War. A kunoichi from the Hidden Rain Village. She was formidable… much like you."

Kenshin's interest was piqued, and the others listened intently. "An Uzumaki from the Hidden Rain? That must have been my mother, Kana Uzumaki."

Yuki's eyes widened slightly in surprise, though a hint of a smile played on her lips. "So, you're her son. That makes sense. Kana was an incredible ninja, she had an inhuman amount of chakra, but she didn't have many ninjutsu."

Akane's gaze softened as she listened to her former sensei speak of their mother. "She must have made quite an impression on you, Yuki-sensei."

Yuki nodded slowly, her expression growing more reflective. "She did. With just taijutsu and her adamantine sealing chains, she put me on the defensive, despite my kekkei genkai having an advantage on her. She was simply on a different level."

Kenshin felt a surge of pride at hearing his mother praised so highly, especially from someone as skilled as Yuki. He glanced at Akane, who wore a small, proud smile as well, and then back to Yuki.

Yuki's eyes softened as she continued, "I can't help but wonder how she's doing now. The war ended so long ago, and the world has changed so much since then. I heard that she's been transferred to our village. Is it okay if I come over later today?"

"Of course. I'm sure mom would be glad to meet you again." Kenshin replied with a small smile.

Yuki nodded, absorbing this information with a thoughtful expression. "Thanks." Her gaze shifted to Akane, a knowing look in her eyes. "And I hear she's adopted you, Akane. That's a big step."

Akane smiled softly, her eyes reflecting a mixture of emotions. "Yeah, she did. It's been… nice, having a mother like her. She's different, but in a good way."

The conversation drew to a close with Yuki giving both Kenshin and Akane a final nod of approval before she stepped back, allowing them to join their friends again.

"Hey Hinata, you alright? You seem pale." Kiba asked Hinata, who was still disturbed by what she saw within Kenshin. But she didn't want the others to get the wrong idea, so she decided not to talk about it for now.

"I'm fine. Just.. a little bit tired." Hinata replied, forcing a small smile.

"If you're tired you should rest. It'll be bad if you're tired during a mission." Shino added quietly.

"I guess you're right." Hinata said, getting up from the bench. "Everyone, I have to go. It was nice meeting you, Kenshin-kun."

Kenshin nodded with a smile, not knowing what she had seen inside him.

"I'll go with you, Hinata-sama. There's something I must discuss with you." Neji said, and went with Hinata after she nodded.

"Did you see it too?" Hinata asked after they were out of everyone's sight.

"I did. But I'm unsure about what it is. It couldn't be a tailed beast, because from what I know, the chakra of a tailed beast cannot be seen unless the host uses it." Neji said, his brows furrowed in thought.

"How do you know that?" Hinata asked.

"I once fought a jinchuriki. And I couldn't see the secondary chakra, the tailed beast chakra until he began using it." Neji explained, his mind drifting to the time when he fought Naruto during his first chunin exams.

"Oh, I understand. What will you do now?"

"For now, let's keep an eye on him from afar. I don't want to tell others just yet, so we will watch him."

"All the time?"

"Not all the time. Whenever you have the chance. We cannot let others find out about this before we ensure he's not a threat. I assure you, Hinata-sama, I will not let anyone harm the village." Neji assured her, and the two of them walked back to the Hyuga compound.
