Chapter 6

'I won't let you die, Rin,' Takeshi vowed silently to himself. 

The events of Naruto can all be traced back to Rin's death - it drove Obito mad. Though Obito was under Madara's control, the difference between active and passive obedience is significant.

That's why both Rin and Obito must be saved. The Kannabi Bridge Battle is still over three years away, giving me plenty of time to prepare and grow stronger. With my talent for causing trouble, earning enough points should be a breeze. 

"Don't make any noise outside. Let me talk to my father first. He will agree, I am sure." Rin warned her new friend. She was worried that this mischievous kitten would cause trouble, and her father wouldn't want her to take care of him. Takeshi understood her concerns and stayed quiet outside.

Rin timidly entered, her hands fidgeting nervously. Seeing her father at the dining table doubled her anxiety. After a few seconds, she hesitantly said, "Father, I...I adopted a cat." 

"Is it ninja cat?" Nohara Aizawa smiled, instantly easing his daughter's tension. 

"Yes, a very smart and capable black ninja cat. I swear it will not cause trouble to the family." Rin promised. 

"You don't have to do this, Rin-chan. It is your partner. You will graduate in a few months, and you will be able to take care of it yourself." Her father lovingly patted her head. 

"Thank you, Father." The little girl bowed deeply, grateful for his understanding. She knew her father was under immense pressure due to the strained relationship between Konoha and other villages. As a chunin, he had to be prepared to die every time he went on a mission. 

Raising a ninja cat wasn't as simple as her father made it sound. He just didn't mention the financial difficulties in front of her. 

"Ha...here's the little black cat, come in and let me see it." Nohara Aizawa called out, and Takeshi appeared from the door. His black fur shone beautifully in the setting sun. What surprised Aizawa the most was Takeshi's intelligence. Could this cat truly understand him? 

"Father, his name is Takeshi. He chose it himself." Rin beamed, proud of her new companion. This proved that Takeshi was quite intelligent and wouldn't cause too much trouble. 

Indeed, as Takeshi observed the family and found that they were not wealthy, and their small house had little furniture. If he created a nuisance, he would be no different from a wild animal. Points couldn't be collected from here. 

"Oh? So awesome!"Aizawa was genuinely shocked, and Nohara Megumi, Takeshi's new mother, also poked her head out to meet the new addition to the family. 

"Takeshi, this is your father, and that is your mother." The little girl happily introduced her family members to Takeshi. Takeshi raised his paws in a traditional lucky cat pose.

Though he was black, he still possessed some feline charm. Nohara Megumi was delighted, as this was indeed a very intelligent ninja cat. 

"Rin, you taught him this?" Aizawa was a bit surprised. Cat posing... How could a little cat know so much? 

"No, I just didn't know he could do this." Rin was also astonished. 

"Meow~" Takeshi called, then lazily laid down under the table. He didn't buy the special cat food, and he hadn't hunted today, as he had to eat home food. If he didn't eat something, Rin might not be able to handle it. 

'Well, there's still a fish in the item space. I can just eat less.' Takeshi worried. He wondered if that fish would expire... He got it from a sushi restaurant. If it expired, it would be a waste of food. 

Not long after, the rich aroma of meat came from inside. Bowls of dishes were served, and some of each dish was placed in a small bowl, which was put in front of Takeshi along with some rice. 

Takeshi wasn't comfortable with this position. But since he was a cat now, he had to adapt to a feline life. Takeshi was filled with varied emotions. Who would have thought that he was still human just yesterday, but now he was a cat from the Naruto world? At least he still had a system, so he wasn't completely hopeless.

If he were just an ordinary kitten, he would probably die of old age before Pain could destroy Konoha, let alone witness Uchiha Madara's dance during the Fourth Ninja War. 

Megumi's cooking skills were excellent, and Takeshi was used to them. It was easier to consume as well. Speaking of which, this was his first hot meal in the Naruto world. 

After dinner, the whole family was busy preparing Takeshi's accommodation. The kitten was small and didn't take up much space. If he did, this relatively small house would face greater pressure.

In the end, Takeshi settled in a corner of the living room. That's okay. Compared to the street, this place was much better, and he had a bed to sleep on. 

Takeshi laid down, turned his head, and looked around before finally closing his eyes and stopping his thoughts, gradually falling asleep. The kitten was still quite lethargic and had already fallen asleep after today's long day.

The next day early morning, it was still dark. After sometime he woke up, feeling hungry again and couldn't sleep. He planned to relax in this small home till everyone woke up and then find a way to get some points after leaving the house and going to the Academy. 

Takeshi got up and looked at the sky outside - it was bright and still quite a while before dawn. 

'As I become a cat, even my biological clock changed.' He thought he was waking up so early because of the cold temperature, but now it seemed that wasn't the case.

If he think about it carefully, that's true. People say they are night owls, but I am afraid that I am still young, and if I am a few months older, I may wake up at night. As cat's are generally nocturnal.

Night will be my hunting ground, my future enemies will think I'm hiding in the shadows, watching, waiting to strike, but I am the Shadows! I am the Night! I am Vengeance!

He got out of the window and looked outside. Nohara family lived in a civilian area. The houses here were almost the same. It seemed that the Nohara family were ready to make a lot of sacrifices to raise him. Fortunately, he has system. 

Takeshi spent 100 points to buy a special cat food. On one hand, it was to fill his stomach, and on the other hand, he wanted to see what was so special about this special cat food.

The effect was that eating it all year round could transform a normal cat into a ninja cat, but what if I am already a ninja cat, will it still have any benefit? He thought for a moment and finally decided to buy it for a try. 

After buying it, the food container automatically appeared in the item space. This was quite convenient. This would be quite useful to me in future. I can buy anything at any time and it would be stored safely in item space. 

Quite tasty... After eating a few bites, he felt very good and even felt much happier. It's really special. After eating one meal, he instantly felt a lot more energetic. 

If an ordinary cat eats it all year round, it can indeed become a ninja cat. Even if a ninja cat takes it, it will be very beneficial.

Not only can it help me quickly restore my physical strength, it can also help me maintain fitness and become stronger by eating it all year round. It's just a bit more expensive.
