Chapter 114

As they gazed at the people chasing from behind, Granny Chiyo led the troops, forming an enormous formation.

"With around forty ninjas, did Lord Orochimaru's subordinate attack the Sunagakure Village itself?" he mused.

"Sensei, I'm fast, and I've mastered a Earth Release Ninjutsu, so I can leave whenever needed." Takeshi said. "Meow~, I have a secret jutsu... I can hit it in repetition before retreating."

But it was impossible to just leave like that. With so many Jonin, how many points could he get? Takeshi's eyes gleamed at the prospect.

"Okay, then Obito, you and Rin evacuate towards Land of Rivers. Disperse!" Minato instructed. 

"Yes Sensei!" Obito replied, his voice laced with sadness. He had been excited to come here, wanting to limit the use of the Sharingan to hopefully unlock physical requirements for Eight Inner Gates. But now, with around forty ninjas over there, he realized they were atleast at an elite Chunin level...

Obito feared that relying solely on physical strength, along with using the Great Fireball Jutsu and the Sharingan, while that would reveal their disguises would be useless. He was afraid that even if he went all out he would still die. 'Forget it.' he thought, 'I'll try to unlock the Eight Inner Gates next time.'

"Rin, let's go." The two of them left first, while the three remaining continued to hide and discuss countermeasures.

Minato asked Kakashi, "Do you know Earth Release Swamp of the Underworld or Earth Release Earth Flow River?" Kakashi shook his head; these two jutsus were relatively difficult, and he had not learnt them yet.

"Then the Earth Release Earth-Style Wall... don't put your personal mark on it!" Minato warned, recalling a previous mission where Kakashi had a problem (as a ninja) with his earth release defensive ninjutsu, he liked to carve messy personal marks by adding dog heads to them.

"If you have extra time and energy to mark them, use that to land couple more hits on enemies!" After giving him a lesson, Minato looked at Takeshi and asked, "What secret jutsu were you talking about, and how effective is it?"

"The Secret Art of Explosion!" Takeshi explained, continuing. "Explosion Release jutsus, It can be used in conjunction with another jutsu of mine."

"Okay, I'll fight in close quarters and cooperate with Fire Release and Wind Release to cover their retreat (Rin and Obito), and you will cover my retreat... I'll take action in three seconds to go," Minato outlined the plan.

After Minato finished speaking, his hand was already on the hilt of his sword. The five enemy ninjas were already very close. Nightfall was good for them to ambush and combat.
