Time passed painfully slowly. The fear of being found by a beast kept me conscious.

I also noticed that I was bleeding to death.

After being knocked unconscious, I had to take a hard fall.

I was injured and bleeding to death. This made me realize that, even if no one found me, my blood would attract the beasts and I'd be screwed. Or I'd die of blood loss first.

As soon as the minor regeneration was acquired I felt the bleeding gradually stop.

In a few minutes I could move again, albeit at the cost of enormous pain. Slowly I stood up and moved quickly away from the place.

Finally reaching one of the training grounds, I sat down under a tree, breathing a sigh of relief.

I looked towards the Forest of Death and saw the sun setting. With relief I took a deep breath, but regretted it so soon. Even breathing was painful.

From exhaustion I lost consciousness.

After handing in my mission report to the hokage I decided to go for a run around the village to keep up my "YOUTH".

After reaching the training ground where I used to practice, I did a quick warm-up.

As I finished my warm-up, I noticed that I wasn't alone. Under a tree far away from me, I could almost make out a silhouette.

It didn't make any sense, as this field was almost abandoned due to its proximity to the Forest of Death.

What's more, it was almost nightfall, so normally no one would come here.

Rushing over to the figure, I called out to him but got no response. I approached it.

Under the tree I could finally make out an unconscious little girl. She looked to be about six or seven years old and seemed to be asleep.

But as I got closer, I noticed that her clothes were bloody. A thin trickle of blood seemed to be dripping from her head - the child was thin.

I couldn't cope with these wounds.

Quickly picking her up, I headed for the hospital to have her treated.

I was greeted by a nurse who took the child.

Shortly afterwards, an Anbu told me that the child's case would be taken care of by him.

Grateful, I left the child in his care and returned home, but my thoughts kept turning to the girl.
