Chapter 19

Usagi packed up his things and met up with another group of Uchiha, but thankfully this time he was paired up with Shisui who was more friendly among the group of Uchiha.

"Long time no see" smiled Shisui as he and Usagi gave each other genuine smiles while the other two ninja seemed to be simple civillian ninja

"So, should we set off?" Asked Usagi and after waiting around for a while the team set off

"I heard you were largely responsible for the victory on the south side of the camp!" Shisui praised

"Heh! Not really, although my toad oil jutsu was powerful, without your uchiha clansmen providing support with powerful fire and earthstyle jutsu, do you i am capable of killing two jonin and tens of chunin" asked Usagi as he laughed,

"Speaking of that Toad oil jutsu, you still havent told me where you learned it" asked Shisui,

"Hehe! Its a secret" smiled Usagi as he put some more effort in, moving faster as he left Shisui behind

Though who was Shisui, he was known as Shisui of the body Flicker, his speed was said to be one of the fastest

Just as Usagi was feeling smug, a shadow flickered besides him,Shisui waved at him before taking the lead

The whole way, the two played aroumd while making sure the other teammates werent out of sight,

After constant running, the team decided to take a break once they entered the land of fire

"Alright! We will set up camp, Usagi! Go and check the surroundings for any movements....

Usagi nodded before he ran off to scout the surroundings, after looking around for a while, he didnt come across anything unusual, just as he was about to return, he heard the faint sound of something moving behind the bushes

*shing* Usagi threw a shuriken which accurately hit something in the bushes, once he saw what it was, Usagi sighed in relief,

"Its just a rabbit.." he put the dead rabbit in his storage scroll before returning back to the camp

"Hey guys! I caught a rabbit!" Said Usagi as he pulled out the rabbit, everyone gave a nod, though Shisui suddenly frowned and Usagi being the closest to him noticed it

"What happened?" Asked Usagi

"Hmm, i have travelled along this path many times during the war....and i never came across rabbits..." hearing Shisui say that,Usagi felt a chill creep up his spine

Shisui took out his kunai at blinding speeds as he intercepted a flying shuriken coming his way

While Usagi put soke chakra into his soles as he jumped high in the air, seeing a explosive tag flying at him, he summoned a clone that pulled him out of the tags way

The remaining Chunin and Jonin also went into action as one of the Chunin used a fire jutstu aimed at the bushes

Following that, a group of ninja with three jonin and five chunin came out

"Well well, i didnt think i would get to meet the famous Shisui of the Body flicker, guess its my lucky day...and another noteworthy ninja as well" one pf the jonin said as he pulled out a bingo book with Usagi and Shisui' details on it

"I am gonna earn me a large sum of money today, hahaha!" The jonin laughed

Shisui didnt wait for the ninja to finish as he rushed at the laughing Jonin, though as soon as he struck the jonin turned to mud , Shisui hurriedly moved back as he activated his Sharingan while persuing one of the jonins while the other konoha jonin ran after the other jonin, countering his Earth style mud wall with a giant fireball jutsu

Usagi who was pissed of spewed a huge amount of toad oil and then fired a fireball at the chunin ninjas,

There were a total of five chunin and six genin after Usagi and three chunin,

Out of the five chunin, only one was caught in the jutsu and was lit on fire while the other four chunin used various jutsu to escape the line of fire

Out of the ten enemy genin, five were now dead

Usagi quickly used his mastery over Wind Release Great breakthrough to stop the barrage of countless Earth bullets that were sent their way while the chunin among his team used the wind to their advantage to send out another set of fire release jutsu

Using the combination of Wind and Fire allowed them to easily deal with four more genin who died with regret on their faces while two out of the four chunin were injured as well

"Hah! Give up! Or else die" yelled Usagi,he was still pissed off about almost dying, he had never been so angry since his time in this world

"Keh! Ahk tuah! Us Rock ninja will never surrender" one of the chunin shouted as he started weaving hand signs, though now that only two of them were weaving signs while the other two could only pull out kunai to fight allowed the chunin from konoha to easily slip into their formation,

After a bit of struggle, two more chunin ninja were dead along with one genin that had previously survived, Shisui had also killed his ninja and was now cornering the last jonin with the other ninja

Seeing this scene the two Chunin that were now low on chakra felt hopeless, though Usagi knew not to underestimate his enemies a second time

He had almost paid for his actions if not for Shisui

Although he was also low on chakra, with the other Chunin teaming up, he easily dispatched the remaining two ninja

"Good job you all! Usagi-san! I see that your toad oil jutsu is really promising, its affinity with fire style is second to none, maybe surpassing the wind style as well" the jonin praised as he bandaged his wounds

Thankfully they werent fighting against the dispicable sand or this wound might have been poisoned

The other chunins were much better though one of them was left with a broken hand

"I am sorry" Usagi said with a heavy expression, he had momentarily let his guard down since they were already in the land of fire

"Sigh...its not your fault kid, i am already catching up to my age, its been a long time since i have been a Chunin, a bit of injury is nothing compared to dying" the ninja said as he tried to smooth things over

Shisui also patted Usagi,

"Alright! We should hurry off now, we must arrive at the village by noon atleast" the jonin said

Usagi had nothing to say this time, while checking the enemies he took away all the weapons and surprisingly got his hands of two new jutsu so he took them as well
