Chapter 2

I watched my love leave that day.

After that I couldn't even last a day without her I went after her. I did lay in my apartment for the first three hours just contemplating where I went wrong and what I could've done differently. I stupidly convinced myself to run to her so I did I waited until she came to pick up her stuff and gave her the Tulips' I spent the better half of a day gathering from the forest behind the apartment. I sung her a song and then I gave her tulips to express my deep and unconventional love to her, but she still rejected me.

I understand she will never show me the same love she did when I had money to buy her expensive cars, and buildings and beach houses and food and clothes and.....and... a lot of other stuff.

I took her to my apartment so she can grab the the last of her belongings. She didn't give me a second glance, she didn't cry or beg for forgiveness, she didn't ask to stay for one more night. She didn't do any of that. She just took her curling iron, makeup bag, and dress, then just... left.

I couldn't fathom it. I didn't believe that I was this disposable to her. I crept down stairs down to the store under my apartment and brought a bunch of beer, Coronas. I slowly climbed the stair back up to my apartment, empty and void of life. As I walked into the doorway, I nearly stepped on the broken vase and crushed flowers littering the floor.

------------------------------------~Flash back end~---------------------------------------

That's all I remember. I got drunk and fell asleep blissfully without thought or worry.

"But...who is that guy... " I say aloud, I am hallucinating who is that guy that's sleeping on the other couch I don't remember him being there when I sat down after getting my medicine.

"Who?..." a disembodied voice asked.

"That guy on the couch," I do a lazy gesture towards the guy, "stupid". I casually gaze to right side of the couch, I froze.

"Who-?" My mouth hung open there was small girl was sitting next to me she stared at me with those big innocent eyes of hers and a smile that could outshine the sun.

"Oh, him? He's just taking a break." She glazed over my question easily, her eyes shined a strange light, her smile stretched into a sly grin.

"What-, Not him! Who-who are you!?" I was shaken by her appearance, I was not once fooled by her young, unassuming, demeanor.

She just wasn't normal, her smile was wide and devious her posture was unorthodox, just way too confident for such a young girl. What really made my breath hitch were her eyes...

GOD....

her eyes shined, if that was even possible, they shined brightly, I feel them digging into my soul searing into them with some sort of strange expectancy.

I was still ridged when she abruptly lend into me. Her eyes locked onto mine she kept coming so I reclined deeper into the couch hoping it will get me away from this monster it wasn't meant to be, our foreheads were finally mashed together and the couch back was stabling deeply into my neck. No where to run I could now see her clean face and brown glowing pupils clearly.

"Who am I?" She repeated "Wouldn't you like to know?" She tilted her head smooshing her forehead harder onto mine, she put a heavy hand on my shoulders and sat down on my chest keeping my whole body grounded while she started into my eyes as if I was the most curious thing.

"Y-yes" I heave out, struggled to move under her. Her entire weight felt like a ton of bricks, my butt dug into the couch and the angle was a killing on my back.

"I AM GOD" She huffed out full conviction her aura increasing a hundred - time's folds.

She pushed me harder into the couch shifting onto her knees and digging them in ruthlessly. My body felt like an indisputable force was weighing down on me I fought to stay awake.

'God?' My thoughts spun 'God? She's God?'

"You can't be god," I swallow down a bucket load of saliva and whined pathetic denial, "I'm not dead, I can't be dead", My whole body slumped.

Suddenly the pressure lessened a little bit her knees stopped digging, her eyes lost their glow as they grew confused, uncertain.

"What?" She whispered, my forehead suddenly cool when she jumped off me, and into a defensive stance she yelled " ___ wake up right NOW!"

The guy that was sleeping on the couch was kneeling at her feet at the next moment.

"Yes, Dear?" He said obediently

"WHAT is THAT!?" She growled pointing at my slumped figure like she was pointing out a bug in her stew to a disrespectful waiter.

"That is the man you asked me to get from region 223 Nebula, GT, 80004441119." He again answered robotically.

"Then WHY is HE acting sO-, So--, SO! PATHATIC!" She screeched her not so cute face was scrunched up furiously, her body jerked in place.

The man softly explained, not yet moving a muscles or responding to her screeches in anyway, "He was not ready to be harvested, so I was going to leave to report back to when he suddenly died I didn't want to lose his soul so I brought him back for your judgment."
