Chapter 10

Miyamoto stood in the office, smiling and staring at the Hokage, the will to fight coursing through his veins, the thought of a battle with someone like this excited Miyamoto. So much so, that he accidentally released his aura.

The Hokage went wide-eyed and performed a Jutsu under the desk, just before he got to the final sign, he stopped, seeing what Miyamoto would do next.

'What an opponent! Haha'

Miyamoto's aura manifested, his aura looked like a blue fire raging around him.

Anbu black ops around the village felt immense pressure fall on their shoulders, they turned to the source, and seeing it come from the Hokage's office, they all dashed to the office like their life depended on it, cause it would.

The Hokage felt his body become heavier, he could barely withstand it. Doing the final hands sign, the Hokage spat out a cloud of dust, but before he could, Miyamoto slashed him.

"Ugh!"

The Hokage felt a slash across his body.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" The Hokage screamed out In in pain. It took every ounce of strength left to not curl over and blackout.

The Anbu all appeared in a cloud of smoke, 4 made a square around Miyamoto's neck with their swords, and 2 others held the tip of their sword against his throat and head.

Miyamoto saw the whole room filled with Anbu, even outside the windows Anbu stood ready to fight. His smile widened.

"Lord 3rd!" One of the many Anbu said as he checked the Hokage.

The Hokage wheezed and heaved as he tried to breathe from the attack, when he looked at the wound, there was nothing there.

'What? I'm sure he struck me,' The Hokage looked up and saw Miyamoto surrounded by the Anbu, and although they had him surrounded, his aura gave them all an uncertain feel.

'Who is he?!' The Hokage thought. Finding his strength and recovering from the strike, the Hokage took a deep breath before asking.

"Who are you?"

Miyamoto only widened his smile, curling his eyes up into a slant.

"I AM THE LEGENDARY SAMURAI, MIYAMOTO MUSASHI!!!" Miyamoto didn't shout this out, rather his words sunk deep into everyone's brain.

The weight on everyone's shoulders grew heavier. The Anbu that surrounded Miyamoto began to shake as they used all their strength to resist the weight.

Everyone else tried to seem unbothered by his aura, but their bodies betrayed them as they also began to shake, except for the Hokage

"I LIVE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN SURVIVE 10 CUTS FROM ME, AND YOU, HOKAGE ARE THAT PERSON!" Miyamoto said, his words cutting deep within everyone's mind again.

Seeing everyone shake while the Hokage was fine was more than enough to rile up Moyamoto.

"LOOK AROUND HOKAGE, THESE WEAKLINGS STRUGGLE LIKE A WOUNDED ANIMAL, WHILE YOU STAND ABOVE THEM ALL!" Miyamoto got even more excited, shouting with glee.

'He caught me off guard with his aura, but now that I know what he's capable of, his intimidation won't work again.' The Hokage thought to himself.

"I will have a bout with you, but in return, you hand over the scroll, and stop your aura attack." The Hokage said, his words washed over the surrounding Anbu, easing their mind just a bit.

Miyamoto calmed down his smile into a smirk, he then dropped the pressure on everyone's shoulders.

"Anbu, leave us, you'll just get in the way." The Hokage ordered.

The Anbu as a collective didn't know what to do, they didn't want to leave him, but they were also no match against Miyamoto.

"You heard your master, little pups. LEAVE!" Miyamoto said, activating his aura for a second to remind them how powerless they are against him.

"Leave us." The Hokage demanded again.

With little choice, the Anbu all disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

Miyamoto untied the scroll and let it drop to the floor.

The Hokage rose from his desk, grabbed his pipe out of the drawers and walked past Moyamoto.

Miyamoto followed after the Hokage as he walked out of the door.

The tension between the two felt like a wall as they walked down the hallway.

"I need a sword," Miyamoto said simply.

The Hokage took a puff of his pipe before responding.

"We'll stop by the armoury."

"Such rudimentary weapons won't be able to handle my strength," Miyamoto said plainly.

"I thought the legendary Miyamoto would be able to cut down an old man like me with any weapon, but I guess not, how embarrassing." The Hokage said, taking another puff of his pipe.

"Ho, ho, playing with my pride? I will cut you down, old man!" Miyamoto said with a calm face, but with murderous intent behind his words.

The Hokage could feel his skin crawl as he felt Miyamoto's murderous intent, but one puff of his pipe and the feeling disappeared.

After a few moments of walking, the pair arrived at the armoury.

The Hokage opened the door and turned on the light inside.

As the room lit up, Miyamoto saw a range of weapons, ranging from shuriken to large swords.

"If you want a katana or an odachi, then they're over there." The Hokage said, pointing over to the right corner near the door.

Miyamoto walked over to the corner and saw the same odachi or katana as the last.

'These swords are so brittle, they will shatter after one strike.' Miyamoto thought to himself before his eyes fell on a sword hidden in darkness.

Miyamoto picked it up, it was better than any of the swords here, the blade was still brittle but it would take more than one strike to break it, the handle was the most eye-catching feature, the grip fitted perfectly into his hands, and the blade was tightly locked into the guard.

"Have you chosen your weapon?" The Hokage asked, walking next to Miyamoto, curious about the weapon he chose.

"That old thing? Eh, suit yourself." The Hokage said, belittling his choice, walking out of the door.

Miyamoto didn't listen to the Hokage's words, the sword could pass as a decent kitchen knife, he sheathed the sword and walked out the door.

The Hokage couldn't feel the intense aura of tension anymore, Miyamoto seemed calm after grabbing that sword, strangling enough. The Hokage turned off the lights and shut the armoury door, before continuing down the hallway, Miyamoto in tow.

As they walked, the Hokage had a worry that was stinging his heart.

'That bastard is a lot calmer now, though it's only slightly, his aura is now a lot sharper, enough to make me sweat.' The Hokage said, getting serious himself.
