5 | The Night of Kyuubi

Inside the house of Minato and Kushina, at the dining table we can see Kushina, Minato and two old people sitting.

"There's the seal to worry about.... so we better prepare for the birth. I'll go ahead and get everything ready." Minato said to the old man and woman sitting in front of his wife and him.

"When your predecessor, Mito-sama gave birth it is said that the seal nearly broke. I hate to ask this of you but, just in case anything happens, you will have to give birth away from the village and within a barrier. Minato and my wife Biwako and Taji of the ANBU will go with you. ... it will all be kept secret."

"Hai, Lord Third." Minato said.

"Of course, you will have bodyguards as well, but they will be ANBU under my direct control." Lord Third said.

"I will lead you to the appointed spot. We should leave soon!" Biwako said.

"Alright, thank you. But before that.... " Saying that Kushina stood up from her seat and walked toward Ichigo who was sitting on the sofa at the visiting hall with a silver haired teenager.

As she neared them she said "Ichigo, be a good boy and be with Kakashi all the time okay."

"Mmm." Ichigo just hummed, he didn't say anything.

"Look at me, don't you want to see your baby brother?" Kushina asked Ichigo.

"Yes." He spoke now.

"Then do as I say and don't make any ruckus okay." Kushina asked him.

"Yes, ka-san." Ichigo replied to her with a smile.

Nodding at him she looked at Kakashi and said "I know that Minato gave you a day off, but help me out by looking after him will you?"

"Hai." Curt response was given by Kakashi.

Smiling, she ruffled Ichigo's hair and said "Next time you see me, I'll be having your little brother with me."

Saying that she and Biwako went out of the house towards the secret spot where Kushina will give birth to her son.

Lord Third and Minato had already left the house to the place where Kushina will be bought, to finish up the barriers and to make sure everything is alright. But before leaving Minato gave his signature kunai to Ichigo and said to keep it with all the time.

Kakashi and Ichigo went around the village for some time and reached the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. When they neared there Kakashi said "Want to eat some ramen?"

"Sure." Ichigo said.

Kakashi just sighed at his response, and he can't blame the kid either. After the death of Rin, he hasn't met Ichigo as he did when Obito and Rin were alive. Thinking that he entered the ramen shop with Ichigo.

As they sat down, Ichigo said "Teuchi-san, one miso ramen with pork cashu, with extra veggies."

"Alright, coming up."

And Kakashi also ordered the same ramen, and he waited for it to be served.

As Ichigo and Kakashi were waiting for their order, a teenager who is donned on a green suit came inside and spoke in a loud voice "Kakashi my rival! Let's have a match!"

Looking at the teen who just barged into the establishment, Kakashi said "No."

"What why?" He asked Kakashi, and Kakashi just pointed at Ichigo who was looking at the teen weirdly.

Seeing Ichigo, the teen said "I'm Might Guy, Kakashi's eternal rival."

As he heard that, Ichigo slowly pulled Kakashi's hand and asked "How do you tolerate him?"

Kakashi just smiled at Ichigo and said "Ignore him."

"But Kakashi, you always had a match with me, remember." Guy started rambling, and at the same time the ramen was served.

After eating their fill, Kakashi and Ichigo left the place with Guy. As they were walking down the streets of the village, Kakashi only stopped. Guy asked "Can't we just decide by Jakken today?"

"Not that again! Can't we have a more heated battle for once!? You call yourself a rival?" Guy asked Kakashi so many questions.

Suddenly, the air started to get cold, and since he's a sensory type shinobi, Ichigo took hold of Kakashi's hand and asked "Kakashi-nii, do you feel that?"

Looking around Kakashi said, "The air feels cold."

"What is with your attitude!? We'll never be young like this again!"

As they were talking, Ichigo started to get the feeling of dread for some reason.

A second later a roar was heard throughout the village.

*Gwa Arrrrrrrr*

Guy, Kakashi and Ichigo looked in the direction the roar came and saw the Nine Tailed fox in the middle of the village. Seeing this Kakashi and Guy was about to go and help the citizens, but was stopped by some of the senior Jonins and was redirected towards the shelter.

Reluctantly, Kakshi and Guy went towards the shelter with Ichigo. As they were about to enter the shelter, Ichigo saw Minato standing on the mountain and redirecting an attack from the Nine Tails. And he also spotted a masked man trying to sneak upon Minato, seeing this he was about to shout "Tou-san.... "

But before he could finish, he was dragged into the shelter with Kakashi and Guy.

As they got in, Ichigo told Kakashi "Someone is attacking Tou-san."

"What? " Kakashi asked him.

"Someone tried to grab Tou-san." Ichigo said with tears starting to fall from his eyes.

Sighing, Kakashi said "Sensei will be alright. You don't have to worry."

Ichigo nodded at him and started to wipe his tears away. But suddenly, Ichigo got dizzy, and new memories started to pour into him. In that time Kakashi left the bunker with Guy rmto help the village

As he got all his memories back, Ichigo opened his eyes wide and said to Kakashi "Nii-san, get me to Kaa-chan.", but as he looked around Kakashi was nowhere to be seen " Damn it. How am I to help them now."

Then he remembered the tri pronged kunai Minato gave him before leaving the house, so he took it out and applied the chakra and at the same time started to study the seal with his elemental sight.

Feeding the chakra to the seal was to find the location of the main kunai, Minato have. And as he got the location he also finished analysing and re-engineering the seal and teleported to the location of Minato.

This all happened in a matter of seconds, and suddenly, Ichigo disappeared from the bunker. And nobody noticed his disappearance at all.
