"Fugaku, I heard that you asked Kakashi to be adopted?"

"Yes. We must make sure that the Sharingan with him is safe. We will soon work on a seal like Hyugas to protect the Sharingan. That's why I want Jiraya-san to return quickly."

"Are you serious?"

"No need to worry. It won't have the slave feature. We value every family member."

Fugaku snorted in disdain when mentioning Hyuga's practice.

"Then that's good. So, Kakashi can just get the seal without getting adopted."

"That's right. It is entirely upto him. Kid lost everyone close to him. Keep Danzo away from him."

"I will. Fugaku, tell me everything you assume about the assailant. You are an Uchiha, you would have a better guess of his ability."

"Well, there are no records of Mangekyo abilities. We know that Madara and Izuna awakened them, but which power they had? We don't really know. But since the assiliant was able to kill everyone despite Minato most likely erecting a barrier, I think he must have some sort of Space-time ability. No one without that troublesome ability would be able to harm Minato."

"I guess we thought the same. But the question is, why would he not attack again?"

"Maybe recovering? But we never know when he will attack again. Though the targets can be two things. Uchiha clan, or Naruto. And please train that kid in fuinjutsu and flying rajin. Kakashi and Shisui too. They will have the most aptitude. Space-time ninjutsu is very troublesome, with almost no counter against someone with similar capability."

"I will see into that. But Fugaku, end the strike. It will give another villages motivation to attack. Suna, Iwa and Kiri are weak right now, but Kumo is not. They even have the perfect Jinchuriki of Eight tails."

"I know that. But I am helpless until a strong Hokage arrives who doesn't care about your councilmen. We can't have the situation of Senju and Uzumaki happening to us."

"Jiraya is already searching for Tsunade. But Fugaku, can't you take the hat? You are clearly an S-rank ninja."

"Don't try to test me by saying things you don't mean. And I am nowhere near the level of you, the Sanin and Minato. Plus I don't want to be buried under paperwork."

"Hahaha! You are true about that. Fugaku, you seem to have changed."

"Everyone changes when a councilman like Danzo targets family. Even Senju and Uzumaki who were on par with Uchiha have only one member left each. We are the only one left now, and I am feeling very uneasy after Kyuubi was summoned in our backyard. People can change in a very short amount of time if their family is in danger."

"Alright. I just have to ask you a question. What do you intend to do with Naruto? Mikoto was the best friend of Kushina, and she must have wanted to adopt him."

"I am sorry, but I am bad at parenting. The most I can do is having Sasuke and Naruto spar with each other so they can make friends. Mikoto can take care of him that way. If I already failed with Itachi, I can't fail someone else's kid."

"What do you mean?"

"I took Itachi to battlefield at 4. And I regret it till this day. I haven't been able to apologise to him even now. I am a bad parent."

"Sigh. It looks like we both are bad parents. Asuma is at odds with me, and Shinnosuke doesn't talk much and is always busy with ANBU."

"I guess."

"Anyway, this is a copy of village plan. I hope you improve the diversity in Police. Aburame, Inuzuka and Hyuga will be very helpful."

"Yes. We need sensors to secure the village."

"You can go now. Have a talk with those clans."

"I will."

Saying that, Fugaku left. The conversation was less tense than he had expected. Hiruzen must have been trying to lower the tensions, so he didn't mind going along with it. The worse the tensions are, the more they will be monitored. Atleast he managed to keep the Uchiha in the centre. For keeping the clan safe, he can only do one thing right now. Getting strong and teaching Shisui and Itachi to be not naive, and then take down Obito. He can only hope that Shisui learns Flying Thunder God in the coming ears. And Kakashi doesn't mope around too much and becomes capable of spamming Kamui.

His Mangekyo Sharingan is very inferior to Kamui afterall.
