finding Gaara pt3

Before they got started on anything else a person appeared behind them, "Oh, you beat me this time Kakashi!" it was Might GUY. Kakashi turned around, "We don't have time to catch up, we may already be late." Guy nodded, "Neji, use your Byakugan!" Neji activated his eyes and looked inside, "I can't see much but there seems to be a statue, I can't see anything clearly. I don't see Gaara."

"Let's make this simple!" Guy then did a few backflips to get distance from the boulder. Guy then ran at it full speed, "Leaf hurricane!" the attack sent a shockwave up the entire mountain almost breaking it! "That won't work Guy, I don't exactly know what kind of seal is on the boulder but I believe it's some sort of barrier but I don't know what kind." Naruto then jumped up next to the seal, "It looks like a five seal barrier, a five seal barrier is created by placing paper tags with 'forbidden' written on them in five different locations in the area. If we want to break the barrier, we need to pull out all of them at the same time."

Kakashi and the rest nodded, "Neji, you try to locate all of the tags, team Guy, you go out and remove the tags, I will send clones with you to tell you when to pull them, be ready for some sort of trap." team Guy nodded. "There is one on a boulder about 500 meters northeast of here. The second one is on the trunk of a tree growing along a riverbank about 350 meters southeast of here. The third one is on a cliff about 650 meters northwest. And the last one is in a little forest a little less than 800 meters to the southwest."

Kakashi then added one thing after team Guy left, "From what we know the two members here are Sasori of the red sand and Deidara the explosion master. Me, Sakura, and Chiyo will deal with Sasori. Naruto, you and Sasuke will take Deidara." both Naruto and Sasuke nodded. Kakashi then looked at Sakura, "As soon as the barrier is removed, destroy the boulder, you have the rawest strength here." "Yes sensei!" Sasuke then added, "Once that is destroyed me and Naruto will charge in to retrieve Gaara if possible." they all nodded.

'Sasori, I never thought a day like this would come.' thought Chiyo a little sad, soon enough all of team Guys members were in position. All Naruto's clones started the countdown, "3, 2, 1, remove!" Kakashi, Guy, Lee, Tenten, and Neji all removed their tags, "Sakura now!" Sakura ran full speed at Boulder and cocked her arm back and punched, "Cha!"

The giant rock was destroyed instantly, the moment it was Chiyo, Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, and Kakashi entered, Kakashi looked at the ground and said, "We're too late." "So, which one of you is the jinchuriki?" "That would be me." Deidara and Sasori looked at him strangely, "Telling the people hunting jinchurikis that you're a jinchuriki is not smart." "True, if I thought you could kill me. I know people like Itachi, or that fish could, but seeing that you lost an arm fighting Gaara, I doubt you are that strong."

Deidara was pissed, 'I am just as strong as Itachi, don't bring up that bullshit anyway! Wait, if I kill his little brother, it would be getting back at him! Sorry, Sasuke was it? I'm going to have to kill you." "Shut up Deidara, you can capture the jinchuriki, I will take the others." Chiyo didn't know what to think, "Sasori, is that really you?" "Granny, you've gotten old."

Deidara picked up Gaara and put him on his giant clay bird and then flew away. Naruto and Sasuke chased after him, "Naruto, remember not to kill him, he will have valuable information on the Akatsuki." "Yeah I know" before they could finish talking, multiple clay bombs rained down on them, Boom! Sasuke, with his Sharingan active, saw more clay bombs being thrown, "Chidori scream!" the lightning stopped all the bombs, Sasuke didn't miss the fact that they didn't blow up, 'Does electricity stop them from exploding?'

"I will try genjutsu!" Sasuke tried to use his advanced Sharingan genjutsu to trap Deidara but it failed, "I can't be put in a genjutsu anymore, your Sharingan is useless against me! C2 bomb!" a huge bomb fell down towards Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke saw this and quickly transformed into Curse mark level 2, he used his wings to fly up and avoid the attack, he couldn't take the chance of lightning not dispelling the bomb.

Naruto undid his clone from earlier, tons of Natural energy flew into him, activating sage mode! Naruto used his increased strength and jumped off the ground flying into the air to avoid the attack. "Sasuke, can you use your summon!" before Naruto could fall back on the ground Garuda swooped underneath him keeping him up.

-back with Kakashi-

Kakashi had his Sharingan active barely dodging Sasori's senbon attacks, Kakashi didn't want to get hit by any attacks, even if they had the antidote from earlier it would seriously slow them down and weaken their attack. "Mechanical puppet, octo needle waves!" The needles were all dipped in lethal poison. "Earth style, mud wall!" The wall stopped the needles, Kakashi then ran out the wall and dodged the other attacks by Sasori.

Sakura came from his side to land a punch on Sasori but next thing she knew she couldn't move her body right. "Secret Red Technique: Human Body Puppet Control!" Sasori then threw her into the wall, as long as his puppet strings were on her she couldn't move. Kakashi noticed this and attempted to cut the blades by using a wind style jutsu, Sasori moved Sakura and his strings out of the way.

Kakashi didn't want to use Kamui as it put a huge stress on his eye. "Puppet dance!" Sakura ran at Kakashi and threw a max power punch, "Kakashi sensei watch out!" Kakashi dodged the attack, he didn't want to injure Sakura but he might have to. Kakashi couldn't help but thank himself for getting himself back in shape, he could have never survived this fight three years ago. Granny Chiyo had just figured out what was wrong with Sasori, "Sasori is hiding himself inside a puppet, if you want to beat him you must break his puppet first!" Kakashi nodded, this was going to be his hardest fight yet.

That is the end of this chapter, to add more chapters to my story I would like to add an arc because there will be some arcs that are taken out from the original. I would like to have a 'filler' arc.

What I was thinking was maybe a jonin tournament/ jonin exams arc but IDK. if you have any ideas let me know.
