CHAPTER 41 : A SAGE IN THE FOREST

After Akira learned a little bit from Kuro Sensei. He next has to take part in the second examination of the chunin exam.

This time too the examination was fairly simple. 

Akira and his team needed to gather two scrolls of Heaven and Earth.

His team got a Heaven Scroll and now they only need to find an Earth scroll.

Akira , Sasuke Uchiha, and Hinata Hyuga, the three determined ninjas who had successfully navigated the written portion of the Chunin Exams.

As they entered the dense, ominous woods, the air was thick with tension.

The second exam was notorious for its challenges, and the Forest of Death lived up to its name.

Akira, Sasuke, and Hinata found themselves amidst the towering trees, their senses heightened as they ventured further into the heart of the forest.

As they progressed, the trio encountered various obstacles, both natural and man-made.

Wild creatures lurked in the shadows, and rival ninja teams, also vying for success, added an element of danger to the already perilous environment.

Sasuke, with his keen senses and sharing, took the lead, scanning the surroundings for potential threats.

Hinata, though initially nervous, drew strength from her teammates and focused on utilizing her gentle fist techniques to sense disturbances in the chakra around them.

The forest became a battleground, with skirmishes erupting between different ninja teams.

Akira's team faced off against a group with expertise in guerrilla tactics, testing their ability to work together and adapt on the fly.

Sasuke showcased his mastery of fire-style jutsu, strategically using it to create openings in the thick foliage.

However, the challenges didn't end there. The Forest of Death held more trials, from treacherous terrain to traps set by the exam organizers.

Akira's team faced a series of puzzles that tested their intellect and teamwork.

Sasuke's ability to think strategically and Hinata's attention to detail proved invaluable as they navigated the complex maze of the forest.

Akira being a sensor could tell where all the teams are in the jungle.

"Akira Kun, should we rest here," Hinata said.

Sasuke too looked a little tired at this. 

"Well, its makes sense. There are still kids, and get tried pretty fast" Akira thought.

"Okay then, you two wait rest here. I also want to search this place a little more. Need to set up some traps as well." Akira said and vanished from his place.

Before they can even say anything which Sasuke most likely was about to say.

Akira get out of there. 

He actually sensed a chakra signature which felt very familiar.

This Chakra was none other than Nature Energy.

Its honestly pretty interesting to him that someone possesses the Nature Chakra here.

But kept on going and soon found an old man who was sitting beside a hut in the forest.

"A hut here" Akira could not help but question himself.

This man was old and Akira saw that he did not have one of his hands.

He also had white hair.

"Come one kid. I know that you are here" Said the old man.

Akira was a little surprised.

Just no one can find him out like that.

"How did you find me out" Akira in curiousity asked.

"The Chakra around you is very familiar. Well have you learned how to harvest Nature Chakra" ask the old man.

Akira was getting more confused.

This man knows about the sage mode.

There are less than 6 sages in the entire Naruto Series.

And most of them are dead.

"Yes I know sage mode" Akira replied.

"Interesting, how did you learn it". He asked.

"None of your concern". 

"What is your name". Akira asked.

"Haha, I am just a travelling sage." said the man.

"says the man who literally has erected a hut here". Akira rolled his eyes.

"Haha, say kid, do you like toads". He asked and Akira was taken a back.
