Chapter 4:What do tomboy's like?

"Yes!I finally did it!"Yuto shouted as looked at the leaf sticking to his forehead in the mirror.It had been a month since he had started his training and his chakra control had improved massively.He was able to stick the leaf to his forehead for 30 minutes.He knows this isn't much if he compared it to the level required for Genins.From one of the older orphans who is already a genin,he found out that to pass the genin test,you will need to have the chakra control to hold the leaf to your forehead for atleast 2 hours.

He drank some water to quench his thirst while thinking about some things he got to know about his system."The system can give quest based on some actions i make. When I was at the 7 minutes mark for the leaf exercise,it gave me a quest to hold the leaf for 3 or more hours."He said to himself as he read over the quests that had popped up in this month.

[Quest Number 1:

1st ranker :When you turn 8,you will take the academy entrance exam and rank first in every test.Show everyone that a new genius is born and get the attention of your clan head.

Reward:Mystery Box,2 points added to all your stats except luck.]

[Quest Number 2:

Leaf Sticking:You want to become the strongest in the world to survive against madara and the otsusuki clan.So you should be an elite of every rank.The normal Genins can only hold the leaf for 2 hours.But the elite can stick it to their forehead for 3 hours and more.Show them that you are an elite by sticking it to your forehead for 3 or more hours.

Reward:Mystery Box,2 points added to all your stats.]

[Quest Number 3:

Fit Body:Train your body to harsh exercises and keep increasing them when you feel that you are getting a hang of it.To be recognised as a genius,your physical strength and speed should be able to match your chakra control. Keep doing these exercises till your academy exams and Ace the test.

He got these two quests due to training his body and chakra control.This means every task that can benifit him can become a mission if it is repeated.The chakra control task needed 5 days to appear while the body training task needed 8 days.

"The quests aside,it will be October soon.And Naruko's birthday is on 10th October.What should I give her?"He wondered aloud as he sat on his bed."This would have been easy if she was a boy like in canon,but she is a girl.I don't know what girls usually like for gifts.And this is Naruko we are talking about,she is different from other girls.Mostly a tomboy. What do tomboy's like?"He thought for sometime, but gave up and decided to get something while browsing from the stores.He decided to sleep for the time being as it was getting late and he needed to restore his Chakra as well.

Days went by and yuto kept following his schedule.He also went to eat at the ichiraku ramen shop with Naruko and finally met the sage of six bowls as well.And he had to say, the ramen was so good that he had to at least eat one bowl a day.Somehow, the ramen addiction of Naruko had been spread to yuto as well.But he controlled it as he didn't have a giant fox and the Uzumaki lineage to be able to survive only on ramen.

Yuto was running alongside Naruko as both of them were looking around to find something. "Yuto,are you sure someone will help us train for the academy."Naruko asked with some doubt as she didn't expect anyone to train her. "Yes.I have heard a lot of things about this man.And let me tell you,from the information I gathered,this man was the dead last of his group.But he never gave up and trained so hard that he left everyone in his group behind except his rival.Both him and his rival are easily considered as some of the strongest ninja in the village."

"Sugoi!"Naruko exclaimed as both of them neared the forest that was situated near the training grounds for ninjas to practice."But will he even train us?"She asked hesitantly.She knew she was hated by the entire village for some unknown reason.And if yuto was confident that this man could train them due to his personality,then she didn't want to become a bother.What if he decided to train them,but when he sees her,he will decide against it.She didn't want yuto to be rejected because of her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by yuto grabbing her hand."I know what you are thinking.He is not like the other villagers.If you showed that you have the determination to train hard and never give up,you will be excepted by him.And even if he turned out like the other villagers,which is 100% impossible, then I will not train with him.You are my friend, Naruko.Like a family.I am not even close to the boys in the orphanage like I am to you.So if someone even has a little hate or even says a bad thing about you,then they are on my 'People that are background characters' list. They are someone I will not even talk to or look at.And if they crossed the line,i might even kick their ass."

He held her hand tightly as he looked in her eyes.Unknowingly,they had both reached near a river."I have decided to become the right hand man of the future hokage.So it is my duty to protect her and not let anyone disrespect her."He gave her a kind smile with his eyes closed.But when he opened them,he was shocked to see Naruko crying."H-Hey!Why are you crying!?Did i say something wrong!?"

He was interrupted by Naruko hugging him. "Thank you"She kept repeating it as Yuto finally understood.This was the first time Someone acknowledged her as her family instead of the hating her due to the demon fox within her.Yuto and Naruko stood by the river, the sound of flowing water mingling with Naruko's quiet sobs. Yuto's heart raced, unsure of how to respond. "Naruko, I—"

She pulled back slightly, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "I've never had anyone stand up for me like that, someone who see me as a family." she confessed, her voice shaky but filled with gratitude. "It means a lot."

Yuto smiled, feeling a warmth spread through him. "You deserve it. You are someone precious to me.And you have the courage to face off those villagers hate,that is something I like about you.Now let's show this courage to that man."He said as he again took her hand.Naruko nodded, her determination blazing through her eyes as she held his hand tightly. "Let's go find him!" she said as they resumed their search.
