Chapter 48 : Trouble??

The Next Day!

As dawn broke, Genya took Senju Hikari out for a run, with the ever-chatty Might Guy trailing beside them.

"Hikari, your talent in taijutsu is almost catching up to that kid Genya. How about becoming my disciple?"

"I'm really strong!"

"If you become my disciple, I'll teach you everything I know!"

"You'll become really strong, super strong!"

Might Guy was babbling on, excitement shining in his eyes as he looked at the little girl. From the training over the past few days, he had noticed Hikari's talent in taijutsu. 

Although she was slightly behind Genya, if she trained with him, she would definitely become a top-tier taijutsu ninja, maybe even surpass him.

In terms of taijutsu, Senju Hikari had a high talent.

Her bone structure and muscle strength were much greater than that of an average ninja—she was a true genius in Taijutsu.

"Stop trying to entice the girl. Even Mr. Toshi wants to take her as a disciple, saying she has the talent to become a medical ninja!" Genya reminded him from the side.

"Medical skills and taijutsu aren't in conflict. Think about it—Lady Tsunade in the past was incredibly strong with her medical skills and Chakra Enhanced strength! If the two can be combined then my Eight Gates and other techniques could also be used together," Might Guy said, his eyes lighting up.

He felt that combining his taijutsu with medical skills might lead to greater heights.

With the power of healing merged with the destructive power of the Eight Gates, he could minimize any injuries when activating the Eight Gates in the future, possibly avoiding injury altogether!

A medical ninja with taijutsu?

Genya's eyes blinked; he also thought that combining medical skills with taijutsu was a good idea.

While he thought this, Might Guy was looking at Genya with a passionate expression, as if to say, "You talk to her! Hikari listens to you, so you should help me out!"

Genya rolled his eyes at the overly eager Might Guy and added, "You should ask Hikari yourself. As long as she agrees, I have no objections!"

"Little girl, look at me! I can make you stronger!"

"Really... No one will be able to bully you!"

"Be my disciple!"

"Wait for me!"

After running a few laps, Hikari slowed down a bit and looked at the annoying Might Guy. "Can you really make me strong?"

"Of course! As long as you become my disciple, I'll teach you everything I've learned!" Might Guy's eyes sparkled as he thought, In the future, you'll definitely help me beat up Kakashi's student!

He was delightfully imagining this.

He even pictured his disciple beating up Kakashi's student, and as he thought about it, he suddenly burst out laughing.

He looked like a fool.

"Boring!" Genya shot a glance at the silly laughing Might Guy and walked away.

Hikari felt a bit speechless. Would it really be useful to have this silly master? She wondered if it would be better to follow Toshi-san instead.

"Hey, hey! Where are you going? It seems like you don't have to go to the training ground today!" Might Guy looked at Genya leaving, puzzled about the situation. In the past, Genya would train until the afternoon!

Today, they left early.

"Today, I'm taking over the Uchiha Police Force! I'm going to patrol the civilian area!" Genya waved at Might Guy and then left.

"From now on, you'll train with me!"

"Okay!"

"…"

So, on the long street, only two figures remained.

One big, one small! 

Both radiated youthful energy.

Merchant Association

When Genya arrived at the Merchant Association after breakfast, most of the Uchiha clan members were already there.

Today was their first patrol, and everything was ready.

"Uncle Shin, how's the preparation going?" Genya looked at Uchiha Shin, his small face showing some seriousness. "We might run into some trouble during this patrol!"

"Everything is ready!" Uchiha Shin nodded, indicating they were prepared for any issues.

"Then let's go! I want to experience the prestige of the Police Force!" Genya nodded and led his team out, marching grandly.

Genya felt what it meant to march grandly, to feel the power of the Uchiha Police Force.

As the team moved through the streets, people began to show respect. 

Most gazes towards the Uchiha clan members were distant, avoiding any connection with the Police Force.

However, some looked at them with resentment. Genya wasn't sure if it was because they had been punished by the Uchiha Police for wrongdoing, but as they walked, he sensed a multitude of emotions.

"Genya-kun, our Merchant Association, is currently building a hospital. It will have five floors, the same size as Konoha's hospital. If we didn't want to attract too much attention, the boss would have made it even bigger than Konoha's hospital!"

"Up ahead is the civilian area!"

"This is the market!"

As they walked, Uchiha Shin introduced the areas they needed to manage.

Genya mentally noted these areas, thinking they might be useful in the future.

While walking, Genya used his special eye technique to observe the surroundings and noticed a few people watching them from the shadows. He couldn't tell if they were from the Anbu or the Root.

They didn't interfere, and Genya didn't point them out.

They continued to patrol the area.

Thus, the group marched on, and before they knew it, they arrived at the market, bustling with vendors and stalls.

This was the most complex and difficult area to manage.

Uchiha Fugaku had directly assigned this trouble to Genya to handle.

"Why are you eating without paying? You need to pay before you can leave!"

"Hey, I'm not refusing; I just want to give it all at once next time. Let go!"

"No way!"

"Move aside!"

As soon as they arrived at the market, a commotion broke out not far away.

Genya and Uchiha Shin exchanged glances, both realizing that trouble was brewing.

Someone was trying to show their authority.

The people behind them also looked at Genya, seemingly waiting for guidance on how to handle the situation.

"Genya-kun, the troublemaker is Yamano Sandan. He's just a small-time thug. He's the one who reported the Uchiha clan members a few days ago!" Uchiha Shin whispered to Genya.

"Oh? I see!" Genya nodded, making a mental note of the person.

Uchiha Shin then asked, "Should I go find out what's happening?"

From Uchiha Shin's perspective, it was his duty as part of the Police Force team to check it out.

"No need to worry about it. They didn't ask us for help, so why should we get involved? What if they end up blaming us?" Genya said, pretending not to hear the argument and started walking ahead. 

"If they don't ask us to help resolve it, then we shouldn't force ourselves into the situation."

As Police Force personnel, it's important not to be overly eager!

The others behind him agreed with Genya, nodding seriously as they continued walking, seemingly ignoring the commotion.

This scene caught the attention of everyone around.

Some even commented on how the Uchiha Police Force team didn't care about public safety.

"Why are you just walking away? Someone here is trying to skip out on paying—don't you care?" 

Just as Genya was about to move on, the shopkeeper who had been arguing with Yamano Sandan stepped out and shouted toward him.

He had just received orders to cause some trouble for the Uchiha Police Force team and couldn't let them leave so easily.
