Title Prelude to Second World War 3
....
The city of Rōran was built at the edge of a desert and is truly an ancient sight.
The climate here was constant, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built to great heights, as if to try and reach the blue skies above them.
The skyline is sprinkled with tall skyscrapers and they seem to be reaching higher and higher each year. Education is superb in Rōran and it has attracted a lot of attention.
Various non Shinobi clans have left their mark not just on internal relations, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a plain city, ordinary people has grown into a fusion of everything and it's this that unites the thousands of people to this day.
It's this identity that has truly left its mark. Hundreds of artificial trees, offers of a plethora of culinary choices and those who feel hungry for something else can enjoy sport activities, the parks, one of the many other recreational venues.
The most important aspect of this city was the fact that the Bank that manages the circulation of money in the world resides here, and with that came a certain level of security the world has ever seen.
"This sight never gets old." Tsunade praised as she entered the gates of Rōran with Yatsuyo in tow. "Truly." Came Yatsuyo's reply.
"And this is where all your past Kages come to retire? That's extravagant." Tsunade complained indirectly.
"It's not all that much, we do have some land and hand in Rōran's development so it's a given." Yatsuyo said. "Let's make haste, we don't know when the three villages will be attacking."
Tsunade nodded and followed after her as they headed towards the familiar building they always stay at whenever they came to Rōran in the past.
As soon as they reached the outskirts of the mansion, the could see an old man seating regally on a rocking chair in a luscious green garden.
Beside him was also an aged man standing in wait behind him. They recognised this man as Sebas, the house butler and for some reason, for as long as they could remember, he doesn't seem to age.
As soon as they entered the gates of the mansion, both the man sitting on the chair and the butler turned to look at them at the same time.
The two girls both stood in shock, unaware of how to proceed. For Yatsuyo, this man was her uncle yet she didn't know if she should approach him formally or familially. For Tsunade, he was a Godfather she hadn't deem necessary to visit for close to ten years now.
The last time she saw him was when her grandfather was buried and since then, it had been one thing or the other.
"Aiya~ are those who I think it is, Sebas?" The man asked in butler.
"I believe they are master." The butler nodded.
"Then do you perhaps know why they seemingly refuse to enter?" The other man asked.
"I believe it is due to indecision." Said the butler. "Whatever for?" Asked the sitting man. "I truly have no idea master."
"I see." The man then turned to the two young ladies and asked. "Are you two going to stand there all day or come give your old man a good hug?"
The two girls finally regained their senses and walked toward him before Standing before him. Scoffing at their attitude, Shun engulfed them both in a deep hug, one on one side.
"Look at you two looking all womanly now. You don't even want to have any form of skinship with this old man. I'm greatly hurt, especially you Tsu-chan." Shun said in fake sadness but the two girls thought he was for real.
"No. No. It's not like that Uncle, we've just been busy." Tsunade tried to explain, only for Shun to react dramatically. "Uncle? You're calling me Uncle? Ah, my poor heart." Shun said as he stumbled back to his chair while clutching his chest and spitting blood.
"Eh!? Uncle..." Tsunade panicked and rushed to his side as her hand glowed green. She then placed it on his chest only to notice there was nothing wrong that needed healing.
Meanwhile, Yatsuyo who noticed Shun's muscle movements already realised what was going on but smiled and kept silent.
"Eh? Nothing seems to be wrong with you..." Tsunade said and looked at Shun who was looking at her with one eye but immediately closed it as soon as they made contact with hers. "Ah... My heart." He lamented once more.
"Who told you all pains had to be physical." Yatsuyo asked from behind and came to Shun's side. "Why are you calling Uncle, Uncle?"
"Eh? Isn't it what it is?" Tsunade asked but shifted her eyes with a tint of red appearing on her cheeks.
"Uncle it seems like someone doesn't like you any more." Yatsuyo said as she placed her hands on his shoulders in consolation.
"It seems so, Ya-chan. It seems I only have you now." Shun placed his hands on hers and sighed.
"Pa...." Tsunade mumbled.
"Hmm? Did you hear something Ya-chan?" Shun asked the white haired girl beside him who shook her head in denial.
"PAPA!" Tsunade shouted this time as she was fully blushing and her eyes closed tightly.
There was a heavy silence at that moment, or atleast, to Tsunade, only for her to notice a flash of light.
She suddenly had a bad feeling and opened her eyes only to see Shun, Yatsuyo and Sebas looking at a picture in Shun's hand.
Shun was smiling proudly, Yatsuyo was smiling mischievously and Sebas was just smiling.
"Don't tell me." Tsunade said in horror. She had seen a normal camera and had also seen the type in Shun's hand and she knew how detailed this one was.
At that moment, the only thing in her mind was to snatch the picture from Shun's hand, however, before she could move to snatch the picture, it disappeared and Shun said. "I'll be keeping this in my Tsu-Collection."
"Tsu-Collection?" Yatsuyo asked. "HM." Shun nodded. "I also have a Ya-Collection and Ke-Collection. What? You thought I won't have pictures of your embarrassing moments? Please, I've lived for a long time now, that's the only thing keeping me company since you three decided to grow up."
"But we're meant to grow up." Yatsuyo mumbled which Shun heard but decided to ignore.
"Why don't we head in lemme show it to you." Shun said and stood up and walked towards the house.
Tsunade and Yatsuyo looked at eachother and nodded to eachother, already deciding to confiscate the overly embarrassing ones. Afterall, they wouldn't want to deprive the old man of his joys.
...
Well, it happens that despite their wits, they were still a tad bit slower than Shun in terms of scheming and they could only way h the pictures but couldn't touch or move them.
They spent a couple minutes trying to get their hands on it to no avail.
After that session was over, Shun then invited them to a meal and after that, a good room to rest.
They just travelled all the way from Hanagakure to the Land of Wind and then to Rōran, and despite their Shinobi status, Shun still demanded that they ate and rested.
Whether it was due to finally meeting an old acquaintance or just sleeping in the over comfortable bed in the mansion, the nex time they woke up was in the morning of the following day.
With the help of some maids, they quickly got dressed and ready for the day and where ushered into the dining room where they all are together.
After that, Shun directly asked. "So, what brings you two here? I know you didn't come to visit this old man for visiting sakes."
Yatsuyo quickly changed demeanor to one of a captain which even Tsunade had not seen before. "It's in regards to the upcoming attack on the Uzumaki clan."
"Hmm, did Mito ask Tsunade to appeal to the village?" Shun asked to which Yatsuyo nodded. "You stopped her before she was duped right?"
"Yup, she didn't even know how important those tokens are." Yatsuyo smiled and snickered at Tsunade who blushed and looked away with a 'Humph.'
"That's good, Mito should have two of those right? That's quite lucky of you Tsuna. What other thing did you ask for?" Shun asked her.
"Medical knowledge." Came her short reply.
"I see. That's good. You have a lot of potential in that regards. Both your grandpa and grandma are two of the best Medical Nins I've ever met." Shun praised. "And the other?"
"I asked her for it and she gave me." Yatsuyo said. "Hmm, that should be your squad's token right? Yuri did give it to Mito all those years ago." Shun asked. "What do you intend to do with it? From what I know, an order or request hasn't been made of it so it's still useful, even to you."
"I wish to use it to give Nii-san a hand in the future." Yatsuyo said to which Shun looked at her for some seconds before smiling. "I see."
"And the thing I asked for?" Shun asked to which Yatsuyo brought out the clan's tablet.
This was what he'd passed to his descendants centuries ago. It held the prophecy as well as his rules when it comes to the Shinobi lifestyle.
It was similar to the Uchiha plaque but Shun had another purpose for it.
"What do you intend to do with it Uncle?" Yatsuyo asked.
"Well, all clan heads have to leave their will in this tablet before they die don't they? I was the clan head as well as Kage soo..." Shun said.
"Ookaayyy... But what does it have to do with the Uzumaki clan problem?" She asked again.
"What? Uzumaki clan problem?" He asked as he looked at her weirdly. "Absolutely nothing."
Looking at their shocked expression he smiled and said. "This thing can only be used when the Six tokens are brought back together. And from the prophecy, it won't happen until the Red Clouds declare war on the world."
"What I am doing is simply to give myself a front line seat when that finally happens." Shun concluded.
"Does that mean you..." Yatsuyo asked but didn't finish.
"Yup, I'll be dead by then. You and your brother however would still be up and kicking.. probably. This is a dangerous world after all." Shun said
"Are you calling us weak?" Yatsuyo pouted. "What!? No. How could you both ever be weak? Even Tsuna here is stronger than me right now." Shun defended.
"That's not true." Tsunade said and crossed her hands. "I can feel your chakra being channelded to one spot and even that is stronger than my reserves and normal chakra put together."
"Don't mind the details." Shun waved his hand. "Anyways..." Shun said and pointed his hand to his head before pulling it back, and on his finger was a royal blue bubble that came out with it.
"Damn, that took a lot out of me." He said as he put the bubble into the tablet. "Alright, here. When you go back, make sure to tell who ever is the Kage to always take this with him whenever he's going for a Kage Summit."
"Why?" Yatsuyo asked as she collected the tablet.
"Cause you never know when the Red Clouds would be declaring the war. It may be at the end of this war, the next or the even when the world is at peace." Shun said.
"So you think there will another war after this?" Tsunade asked softly.
"Tsuna my dear, it's in human nature to seek conflict when the things they desire aren't in their hands, and unless they come to see the error of their ways, wars will remain a constant." Shun said.
"My friend would have loved to hear that." Tsunade said with a fond smile.
"Jiraiya right? He's a good kid. I can see you have something for him." Shun asked.
"No. No." Tsunade hurriedly answered. "He's just one of my best friends."
"Hum, I see. Cherish him then. Don't let him out of your sight for too long." Shun said and stood up.
'What does that mean?' Tsunade asked herself.
"Then do you know how to stop this constant war?" Tsunade asked. "Perhaps I can tell this to him later on."
"Hmm, well, our clan and village is able to remain where it is today due to our knowledge and expertise. Perhaps if the entire world is properly educated, then it'll stop?" Shun asked while looking at them both.
"Just kidding." Shun said, before continuing in a deep voice. "Except the whole world actually feels the effect of the destruction they've caused, they won't stop. The pain, misery, agony, and many more negative emotions people feel as a result of war...as far as they all come to feel this same thing, this wars will definitely stop."
"So an eye for an eye?" Tsunade asked.
"Hmm, call it whatever you want. No two man's thought are similar. You can only be more accommodating to the next person." Shun said and turned to walk out of mansion.
"The seals I asked to be placed around Uzushio, has it all been placed?" Shun asked.
"Hai." Yatsuyo replied.
"Then Tsuna, do you want to have a front line seat to a type of destruction that'll make all wars end?" Shun asked the young Senju.
Before she could answer, Shun made a handsign and the were immediately in the skies of Uzushio.
From the air, they could see the incoming fleet of Shinobi. The Shinobi of the Land of Earth, Mist and Lightning were all allied for this war. This enabled Ohnoki and his Shinobi to move through the Kumo andeer up with the two other villages.
Currently, these three villages pulled all their Shinobi just to attack a single clan.
Of course this wasn't a normal occurrence. No matter how feared Fuinjutsu was, there was no way three high and mighty Great Villages would band together to bully them.
This was bullying of the highest degree. Even their Jinchurikis were all deployed.
'If I had to guess, Madara and/or Zetsu has a hand in this. They can't possibly attack Hana, so they decided to remove a piece that may destroy their plan in the future. Hmm, I'll go with Zetsu. Madara wouldn't see it fit to destroy a clan out of fear. He's to proud to do that-'
Kyaaa!!!
Shun was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the scream. 'Damnit, is that the only way women know how to scream?' He thought.
All this happened too fast and Tsunade was just regaining her wits when she noticed herself flying in the air.
Unlike her though, Yatsuyo had stars in her eyes. "This must be Uncle's famous domian... Heaven's Will."
"Heaven's what!?" Tsunade shouted hysterically. She didn't know how she was still floating but the mere thought of falling from this height was not appealing to her at all.
"Heaven's Will. Don't worry you won't fall." Yatsuyo assured her.
"And how do you know that!?" The Senju shouted while hugging her tightly.
"Because in Uncle's Domain, everything he Wills will come to fruition. With this domain, he was uncontested in his prime." Yatsuyo praised.
"So defying gravity is his Will right now?" Tsunade asked.
"No." Shun who had been calculating something finally spoke. "Creating a foot hold on the air is my Will right now. I'm not strong enough to defy a fundamental law of nature." He explained.
"So you can stop choking your poor cousin and relax." Shun smiled at her while also clicking some pictures. "You're frightened expression is cute as well, hehehe."
Tsunade's vein literally popped as she somehow forgot her fears and went to punch Shun only to be suspended in midair. "Have you forgotten? You're in my domain so you're under my influence. Atleast since your chakra is weaker than mine."
Releasing her after her momentum had died down, he said. "We should save our chakra for now. They're getting close and I'll need every last bit of it."
The two girls looked over and saw the Shinobis nearing the small island. From the air, Uzushio was really small, perhaps only 1/100 of the entire Land of Fire.
Minutes later, the reached the island and maybe due to being with short term allies, they didn't deem it necessary to set up camp and directly proceeded into the mainland.
...
"Ashina-sama, they've arrived." A red haired young man knelt Infront of an elderly white haired old man who was backing him and fiddling with something.
"And Konoha?" The old man asked. "There's been no reply?"
"Hai. Those bastards! Perhaps they even has lady Mito as hostage." The young man cursed bitterly.
"You don't have to blame them. They have their own cross to bear. You on the other hand, why are you still here?" Ashina turned and asked the young man.
"Whatever do you mean, Ashina-sama?" The young man looked up and asked the old man.
"I didn't say that all of you younglings to escape with the women and children, didn't I? What are you still doing here?" Ashina asked.
"Escape? To where? To Konoha? I don't think I can ever come to peace and love amongst them, Ashina-sama. Also, Uzushio gave birth to me and raised me, I rather die than flee when it comes to defending my home." The young man said resolutely.
"Sigh... Are the others of the same mind with you?" Ashina asked, talking about the many youthful Chakra signature he was feeling outside the clan hall.
"Absolutely, Ashina-sama."
"I see." The old man said and turned around. "This scroll contains everything that is of the Uzumaki clan, bank card, Ninjutsus, Fuinjutsu, Bukijutsu and even our Kinjutsu. I have to task you to take this to Hana or Rōran. Pick a couple young men with you for this mission."
"Ashina-sama!" The young amn frowned upon hearing this. How could he not know the old man was chasing them away.
"You don't need to say anything, or are you going to disobey me now that I am old?" The old man asked feigning anger. "Don't forget I was alive when your grandfathers were still brats. Do what I tell you without arguing."
Receiving the scroll, the young man's face was nearly filled with tears but he clenched his jaws in a bid to prevent them from falling. "Understood! Ashina-sama."
After that, he turned and left the hall.
"Sigh. I guess it's time for our clan to disappear we've had it coming for years now. Following the Tengoku clan example? We aren't that strong for that yet." He said and left the hall after he felt some more chakra signatures leaving.
Looking at the geared up men and women ready to go into a battle they were all sure they would lose, Ashina smiled but didn't dare dissuade them.
That would be looking down on their determination. However, he harboured some hope. Perhaps Mito would do something about this. Perhaps their long time alliance with the Tengoku clan would save them. Perhaps... Just perhaps, they all didn't have to die.
"How much longer till they arrive?" Ashina asked as he fastened his armour.
"An hour give or take?" Someone reported.
"And if we move to intercept?" He asked again.
"Less than thirty minutes."
"Hmm, we can't have them desecrating this village of ours can we?" Ashina said and looked at the multitude looking at him. They were barely over a thousand in total, but they were facing three Villages who had numbers nearly ten times theirs.
"Before we leave, I have only one thing to say." He said with a serious tone. "Before any of you die... Make sure you take done nothing less than ten of them. AM I CLEAR!?"
"HAI!!"
"AM I CLEAR!!?"
"HAI!!"
"Then that's good." He said. "FOLLOW ME TO BATTLE!!"
"OOOHHH."
They all shouted and began running to intercept the incoming army of both Mist, Earth and Lightning.
Not less than thirty minutes later, they both met just a distance from the village. Ashina then raised his voice and shouted. "All of you better wat h this clearly, there's no logic nor reasoning to behave in this strength-oriented world. Whoever's fists are harder will be the one who makes the law full stop after today no matter which part you choose to work don't ever place your hopes onto others. All those so-called alliances between the major villages will all be destroyed at the mere mention of interest and profits. Only by being strong yourself would you be able to do the things that you want to do, protect thr people you want to protect, being someone of indomitable spirit."
It was unknown if he was saying this to the Uzumakis or to the allied forces approaching them but none of that mattered. No one had the intention of fleeing from this scene. No one wanted to live as a coward.
...
"What a valiant speech." Shun said from the cloud. "it's as if he knows they will survive this."
"They would, won't they?" Yatsuyo asked.
"Of course they would. But this is the first I am seeing Uncle this motivated." Shun said.
"Uncle?" Tsunade asked.
"Of course, he was good friends with my father, similar to how Mikoto and your Grandma were best of friends." Shun said and raised his right hand. "I'll be relying on you two to bring me back to safety." He said and closed his eyes.
As soon as his eyes closed, he felt his connection to his body disappear. At this moment, he became one with the world as his gaze covered the entire Uzushio.
The seals he had asked to be placed on Uzushio flared and all civilian life in the Island seemingly disappeared, but that wasn't all.
All enemy forces slowed down by a good degree allowing the Uzumakis to vent their anger a little bit.
This continued untill suddenly, a beam of Light cut across the skies. Eien, which had been silent for centuries, materialised into the world for all to see, but the pressure that came along with it didn't appear.
It just showed it magnificence for a short few seconds before disappearing. This few seconds was all it took for Shun to accumulate a certain amount of energy.
He wasn't in his main body so he was not able to perform this Jutsu arbitrary. Still it would place a huge burden on this body of his.
At that moment, all the power of thunder within the skies seemed to gather in a single spot as a monumental pressure fell upon every living being in the island. Uzumaki or foe alike, however, despite the pain, their physical bodies felt, their consciousness were not allowed to black out.
The the sea raged, lands cracked open allowing for lava no-one knew was beneath them to spew out into the world, Killing some unfortunate enemy Shinobis.
In such an apocalyptic scene Shun who had his hand raised brought it down.
The already darkened skies seemed to bore down on the island as an outline of a palm could be seen. The palm was made entirely of Thunder and Lightning, the lightning tumbled, dancing around like a group of manic purple snakes.
Thick arcs of electricity twined around the palm causing the air to be distorted wherever the palm passed.
"Heaven's Will: Dimensional Slash....Selective Teleportation.... Selective Death." Shun said these three technique with great difficulty that blood began pouring from his mouth, nose, eyes and ears.
"Uncle! Pops!" The two girls called out in shock seeing this but they didn't interuppt. From his earlier request, it was clear he knew this would happen and he was confident he wouldn't die.
As soon as Shun's hand reached down, a loud boom was Heard, generating a massive cloud of dust, but at that very moment. Three things happened.
A Massive sift opened on the ground where the palm landed, all the Uzumaki, old, young, make and female, all found themselves in a whole other space, and back to the attacking alliance.
They faced a series of judgment, and all who were found irredeemable were instantly killed off.
By irredeemable, it was basically: Taking pleasure in hurting someone, killing innocents, or unnecessary killing in general.
Although this was a war torn world, the fact that you allowed the waves twist you into something inhumane was not some Shun would condone.
"It is done." A booming sound rang across the entire Uzushio and Shun immediately fell, the foothold beneath their feet also disappeared. Fortunately, Yatsuyo had a Teleportation scroll unique to their Information squad.
Whether it was Tsunade or Yatsuyo, they didn't allow their fears take control. Tsunade was currently calculating at which height would be proper to throw a punch that would serve as a cushion for their fall.
However she was immediately grabbed by Yatsuyo, who was also carrying Shun, and before she could say anything, Yatsuyo poured chakra into the scroll and they disappeared.
****
Well, that's that for the Uzumaki clan. Don't blame me if you think I overdid it with the writing. I don't want them to die and they would serve a greater purpose.
This was, the Uzumaki clan disappeares, the three Villages suffer the same casualties they would have suffered in the original and the second Shinobi world war would automatically kick off due to....
It'll be explained in the subsequent chapters.
Enjoy and have a wonderful day.
