"..." He remained silent, watching as that strange woman leaned in her chair, thoughtful.

Sui stopped moving her chair to sit upright and look into the eyes of the man before her, who, in the time they had been here, continued with that hard and bored expression.

"A few years ago, there was a rumor of a soldier and his platoon of non-benders transporting supplies to one of the many local towns. They were trapped in the mountains, surrounded by hundreds of earthbenders... none of those earthbenders lived to tell the tale of what happened, but if those soldiers from the platoon."

"..." The warrior noticed how the firebender's gaze had changed. She stopped being mocking and was now more curious and even happy.

"Everyone said they saw how a 17-year-old soldier fought with bare fists, destroying his enemies, that he did not fight like a man, he fought like a bloodthirsty monster..." The whole body of the firebender seemed to shudder, with a smile that grew every second.

"I don't fight like a monster... I'm a monster."

"Ah~ we have a self-conscious man," Sui mockingly rubbed one of his feet against the leg of the warrior, who did not seem interested in her insinuation, "You don't know how much I love to see how someone strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies and then finish them without mercy." She didn't stop at just stroking him with her foot.

Her hand slid across the table to reach the giant's, who raised an eyebrow when the general caressed his hand, with a touch so soft and seductive that it would make any man go crazy.

However, from one moment to the next, her smile disappeared. The atmosphere had a more tense and heavy change, in which their gazes collided.

"Hatred against you, the elemental masters who have abused a power that humans should never have possessed. Your actions have brought this world into darkness and chaos."

"It's true." She wouldn't deny it. The benders were always the people who started everything, conflicts, wars, and death. If any of that happened, they had to be involved. "Power corrupts. Don't expect to give a torch to a child and that this one does not burn a forest."

"I'm going to fix everything."

"Fix everything?" The firebender asked again, interested, because of that shine in her guest's eyes.

"Fix this world..."

They both stood in silence, looking at each other, as their transport continued on its way to an uncertain destination.

The Avatar team had taken a break. A few days ago, they had left the village with a new member on their team, who had become the master of the air nomad. Despite his difficulties and problems with the blind bandit, he managed to overcome them and adapt, learning to take the first steps towards earthbending.

But the Avatar was not the only one advancing.

In the middle of a clearing in the forest, Naruto stood, holding a kunai in his right hand, looking at it for a few seconds. He felt a phantom pain from the shots he had received a long time ago at the North Pole. He needed to be faster, with better reflexes to react to a future encounter with those weapons.

Using all the strength in his right arm, he stomped his foot and arched his back to throw the blade. When it escaped from his fingers, it shot out at full speed, invisible to the untrained human eye.

The impact didn't take long, piercing the first tree like paper and burying itself in the second. This was the result of using all his brute force when throwing a kunai, reaching three-quarters of the speed of a bullet fired from a musket: 1,332 kilometers per hour, 370 meters per second, with a range of almost 250 meters, and deadly in groups.

It was a very dangerous weapon, especially considering that a group of 20 soldiers had almost killed him. He needed to get stronger to overcome this obstacle.

"Well..." Naruto stood firm, dragging the earth under his feet, taking out a pair of kunai. He couldn't ignore the cold sweat coming down from his forehead and trembling in his hands when he heard how all his clones took out their own kunai.

"I don't know if I should consider this homicide or suicide."

"This will end badly..."

"I'm..." giving a deep sigh, the shinobi looked up. All his clones were pointing at him. He couldn't help but smile and feel excited in a strange way. "Ready!"

The last thing heard in the forest was the eternal hiss of hundreds of kunai, followed by the grinding sound of metal colliding, ending with the splashing of blood.
