Chapter 6

Two hours later the lesson finally ended much to the relief of most of the students as it was now time for one of their favourite lessons of the day. The taijutsu sparing match.

Every student of Yuu's class gathering on the training ground where there was an open area suitable for one-on-one fights.

"Today we are going to be having sparing matches against each other in order to improve our taijutsu fighting skills as well as improve comradery amongst ourselves." Said the teacher whose name Yuu had learned to be Iruka, a Konoha Chunin.

All around Yuu could see faces very eager to begin their matches.

"All right for the first round Ino vs Sakura" said Iruka. Immediately two beautiful girls one with pink hair and the other with blonde hair entered the combating area. They first formed the seal of confrontation by locking their one of their arms together after which they got into their respective fighting stances ready to engage each other in combat.

"Begin"

The two immediately rushed towards each other with Sakura throwing the first punch aimed at Ino's face. Ino immediately deflected the punch with one of her arms before responding with a punch of her own with her other arm. Sakura quickly side-stepped dodging the attack after which she sent out a high kick with her right leg. The strike landed on Ino left forearm which completely absorbed the power before Ino quickly grabbed Sakura's leg and pulled after which she quickly without a single hesitation struck her right hand's elbow into the pit of Sakura's stomach. Sakura spat out a bit of air and saliva before quickly retreating, her chest heaving as she gasped for air. Ino's attack had managed to knock out the very air in her gut.

Sakura glanced at Ino only to see her wearing her usual annoying smirk which now seemed much more annoying than ever before pissing her off even more. She immediately charged towards Ino engaging in combat once more however Sakura's enraged state allowed Ino to easily anticipate her attacks and soon Sakura could be seen barely able to stand totally exhausted while on the other side Ino, despite looking tired as well, had far less bruises and had no problem standing.

"And the winner of this duel is Ino Yamanaka" said Iruka as he motioned for the two fighters to form a seal of reconciliation ending the first match.

Afterwards Iruka called out student after student to participate in the one-on-one battle most of these students possessed barely passable skills making them not worth noting in his eyes. There were however a few students whose skills were somewhat decent for their levels. These students happened to be children from the shinobi clans which made sense as they were taught their own clans secret fighting techniques which were much better than the general Konoha taijutsu fighting style. That alongside the various additional resources they received from their clans made them much stronger than the civilian shinobi children. It was also one of the reasons Ino was able to easily defeat Sakura Haruno. However, no one cared for such reasons as the only thing that mattered in the shinobi world was a ninja's skills not their backstory.

In these matches Yuu took note of Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara amongst a few others who showed exceptional skills for their age. If allowed to grow these selected children would at the very least be Jonin level shinobi though whether they could be Kage level shinobi remained to be seen.

Finally, it was time for Sasuke Uchiha to fight and he seemed to be fighting another famous character of the series, one who would become the strongest in the shinobi world later on. Sasuke's opponent was a small yellow haired boy with a handsome face and cat like whisker marks on his face. He was dressed in an old and worn-out yellow jacket and pants indicating just how terrible his financial situation was.

The yellow haired boy could be seen glaring at Sasuke, his fists curled up in determination ready to win this fight. Yuu immediately recognized the boy as Naruto Uzumaki. The jinchuriki of the nine tailed fox and the boy who dreamed of being Hokage. Iruka asked the two to form a seal of confrontation however that ended in failure as the two fighters ended up grabbing each other by the collar as they struggled trying to strangle each other.

Finally, Iruka managed to separate the two and hence the match between the two began. Naruto, being over-excited, immediately leapt towards Sasuke with a flying kick which was quickly dodged by Sasuke who quickly landed a punch on Naruto's face sending him tumbling a meter or two on the ground. However, despite the powerful attack, Naruto quickly stood up and attacked once more this time holding his own against Sasuke. The two were engaged in a stalemate for a few seconds, their feet and arms constantly colliding in close combat however the tie-breaker was decided when Sasuke managed to notice one of Naruto's gaps in his defence which resulted in a swift attack to Naruto's rib causing him to wince in pain followed by a spinning roundhouse kick which knocked him out cold.

Sasuke, seeing his opponent unconscious, snorted proudly before slowly walking away, his side soon surrounded by girls who were screaming about just how cool he was.

"And the winner of this spar is Sasuke Uchiha" he said as he slowly picked up Naruto and laid him under a tree shade nearby. He had already examined him, and it turned out that Naruto hadn't suffered any major injuries and had only been knocked unconscious hence he would wake up fine after a few minutes.

And with that the taijutsu class was over. Yuu wasn't allowed to fight because as far as the faculty was concerned, he was a new student who had never been taught any taijutsu, ninjutsu or any ninja technique hence him fighting shinobi children who already had one and a half years of training was simply ludicrous and a complete waste of time. Instead at the end of the day, he was invited by Iruka for personal training sessions in order to catch up with the rest of his classmates which worked in favor with Yuu who got to once more keep his current capabilities hidden from the world.

And just like that, two months passed by.

At this point Yuu had completely settled in into the village and his new life as a shinobi child. He had spent the entire two past month going to the academy studying hard alongside the rest of his classmates or at least he pretended to as at some point he had managed to finish assimilating everything about the Kumo Genin including his memories and hence he was now more knowledgable than all the students in his class be in battle tactics, mathematics, taijutsu e.t.c. He did possess memories of various ninjutsu however he needed to practise a bit to get used to the Kumo ninja's ninjutsu proficiency which he wasn't able to do as he was 70% sure that he was being watched and hence it would look really suspicious for a normal civilian child to suddenly start using jutsu at high proficiency. Hence the last two months were mostly spent behaving like an ordinary child.
