There were Anbu patrolling around the new Uchiha compound, equipped with telescopic devices to monitor every move.

They reported their observations to the third Hokage regularly.

At this moment, a perceptive ninja sensed a wave of probing chakra and quickly signaled for an emergency gathering.

Several Anbu assembled, and one exclaimed, "Come on! We've been discovered!"

As time went on, the third Hokage grew bolder and stationed numerous Anbu around the Uchiha to monitor their every move.

Unexpectedly, the Uchiha clan had launched a sudden attack, choosing a time when peace talks with Kumogakure were underway.

But today is the birthday party of Hinata, the eldest daughter of the Hyuga family.

The Hyuga family, grateful for the rights Uchiha gave up, specially invited Fugaku and Natsuki to visit.

Thinking that they were separated from the village, they thought they wouldn't come.

Unexpectedly, both Fugaku and Natsuki attended.

Due to the previous transfer of power, Hizashi and Fugaku had a good relationship. Fugaku stayed to chat with Hizashi after the banquet.

Natsuki, claiming to be too bored, used the excuse to go for a walk.

In a flash, he headed towards the backyard of Hyuga's house.

Natsuki stood at a high place and observed a sneaky figure entering Hinata's room. Not long after, he slipped out with the unconscious Hinata in his arms.

He was discovered immediately, and the furious Hiashi approached.

Hinata, the eldest daughter of the clan, dared to blatantly kidnap her from the Hyuga family. They simply didn't take the Hyuga seriously.

Hiashi raised his gentle fist, ready to attack.

Only Nagasaki Shinichi's lifeless body and Hiashi holding Hinata were left at the scene.

Hiashi's heart sank; it was exactly what Natsuki said.

When Yugito saw Shinichi lying on the ground, her face darkened. Shee quickly stepped forward to check and found that Shinichi Nagasaki had died.

With an angry look on her face, Yugito exclaimed, "Hyuga Hiashi! Why? We heard about the birthday of the eldest daughter of the Hyuga clan and came to congratulate her. Why did Shinichi die here?"

Hiashi's face was full of anger as he replied, "What a joke. This man broke into my daughter's room to kidnap her, and I beat him to death after I found him. What's wrong with that?"

Yugito also argued, "That's nonsense! We, Kumogakure, came here with sincerity this time. Nagasaki just came first to give gifts, but you beat him to death. Are you provoking a war by doing this?"

Hiahi's silence made Yugito think that he was worried. So she turned around and questioned the Third Hokage.

"The Third Hokage, you have watched this whole thing happen. We know about the Hyuga family's happy event today, so we came here to congratulate you."

"But I didn't expect that Shinichi would die here. Is this how you treat our Kumogakure?"

Sandaime's face had been gloomy before, and he could tell at a glance that this was Kumogakure's trick. While he was thinking about it, Yugito's words became even more intense.

"The Third Hokage, what's your stance? If you're dissatisfied with Kumogakure, are you suggesting that Shinichi's killing was done on your orders?"

Hizashi's gaze bore into the Third Hokage, his eyes carrying weight as heavy as water.

Yugito pressed the matter further, asserting, "If the Third Hokage wishes to resolve this for the sake of peace, justice demands that the murderer pays with their life!"

His words echoed with determination, backed by Killer B's surging chakra, which displayed a formidable-tailed beast chakra coat.

The Third Hokage, caught in a difficult position, sighed and turned to Hiashi with a hint of guilt. "Hiashi, this predicament was caused by your actions. It's your responsibility to find a solution."

Even Mito, who had been napping nearby, chimed in, "Indeed, Kumogakure has come with a peace offering. You must handle this matter with reason."

Disappointment flickered in Hiashi's eyes as he looked at the Third Hokage. It seemed that Natsuki's assessment of the current Hokage line held true — they were lacking in backbone.

Fugaku and Hizashi, having been informed of the unfolding events, approached from the yard.

Hizashi, witnessing his brother being pressured, felt the urge to step forward.

A round of applause suddenly broke the tension. Natsuki emerged from the shadows, wearing a sly smile. "What a good show," he remarked.
