CHAPTER 113: Colder Than Snow

Adrian's POV:

Well, the truth to be told, Jess seems as shocked as me by his unexpected question, yet Andrew is still eating his food with no trouble! The longer I'm waiting to hear what she's going to say about this the more I think that Father's intention behind that question is something entirely different than what it seems. Fuck! Maybe he suspects that something is going on between me and Jess, and maybe Andrew fucking knows as well yet he's acting cool.        "Umm... I don't really think this is my place to intervene between you but... yes, I mean your Father is right" Jess says hesitantly as she manages to look me in the eyes. And my heart skips a beat after what she said. Does she really want me to be here with her? Or is she just keeping up with my Father to not sound suspicious. Well, either ways I feel happy. Yes! I feel genuinely happy, after a long time of misery and agonizing tears, I'm finally looking forward!
