Magnificent House in the Middle of the Forest

"The diamond necklace Lyra is wearing, i think I've seen it before. But, where, yeah?" said Cedric quietly.

"Have you seen it?" asked Gideon, who overheard Cedric muttering to himself.

Cedric nodded his head. He did feel that he had seen Lyra's diamond necklace. But, not in the city of Lumina. Rather, in the city where he came from.

Is it possible? Cedric thought with both eyes widening.

Finally, they arrived at a simple wooden house. It was the house where Lyra lived with her grandmother and grandfather.

As soon as they entered the spacious yard, Gideon, Cedric, and Lyra were warmly welcomed by an old man and woman who emerged from behind a fragile door.

"Lyra, are you home, child?" exclaimed the grandmother who immediately welcomed her granddaughter, and hugged her tightly as soon as she saw her granddaughter.

"I'm back, Grandma. I came with two honored guests to our home," Lyra said with a faint smile.

"Good, where are they now?"

Lyra immediately pointed towards the back, where the figures of Cedric and Gideon stood behind her. Once pointed, Gideon and Cedric looked shy. In fact, Gideon looked so wrong that Cedric immediately nudged his friend's wrist so as not to panic, then they bowed their bodies as a sign of respect for someone older than them.

"You've finally come, you must be the man in the prophecy, right? You are Cedric, aren't you?" asked the grandmother who immediately walked up to Cedric and held both cheeks while watching Cedric's face carefully.

"That's right, I'm Cedric, Grandma."

"Come in, we'll talk inside," ordered the grandmother who immediately invited her two honored guests to enter her modest house.

As soon as the fragile-looking door opened, Gideon and Cedric were stunned and amazed at the contents of the house. From the outside, the simple house looked small, narrow and fragile. However, when the door was opened, the inside looked very spacious, luxurious, elegant, even like being in a room in a palace.

When Cedric and Gideon entered one of the rooms, they were immediately mesmerized by its beauty and elegance. The walls are covered with perfectly polished mahogany wood paneling, giving it a classically elegant touch.

On the main wall, there is a large mural depicting a beautiful natural landscape, creating a magical atmosphere and adding visual depth to the room.

The floor is also made of rare imported marble, with intricate patterns and contrasting colors, giving it an unforgettable sense of luxury. In the center of the room is also a soft thick fur rug, with rich colors and intricate patterns, also giving a warm and cozy touch.

Along the walls, Cedric was again amazed, as he saw that there were elegant glass shelves, filled with rare books and beautiful art decorations. A crystal chandelier. Also hanging from the ceiling, reflecting light with dazzling brilliance also created a magical and romantic atmosphere in this room.

"What about my house?" asked Lyra as she looked at Cedric and Gideon's sparkling eyes.

"Amazing, amazing, I really like your house, Lyra!" exclaimed Gideon looking amazed.

Lyra smiled widely. Gideon himself didn't seem tired of opening his mouth so wide because he was so fascinated with a simple house in the middle of the forest.

Cedric returned his eyes to the other side of the room where there was a spacious and comfortable lounge area. Dark brown leather sofas with soft cushions provided extra comfort.

A wooden coffee table with intricate carvings took center stage in this room. Around it, there are several cushioned chairs arranged neatly. In another corner of the room, there is a mini bar equipped with wine racks and fancy drinkware.

Not to forget, the large windows overlook the beautiful garden, allowing natural light to enter the room and providing stunning views. Elegant gold-colored silk curtains can also be drawn to provide privacy if needed.

"Well, have you enjoyed our home? We still have something to discuss now," said the grandmother, which made Cedric instantly come to his senses and rush to the others in the living room.

"What should we discuss now?" asked Cedric, looking curious.

The grandfather, who had been silent, immediately walked over to Cedric, and looked at him sharply.

"There is a case that you must solve, and you must find out the root cause of the case."

"Case? What case?" Cedric furrowed his brow in confusion.

"The disappearance of the Jewel in the Silver Fairy Palace," replied his grandfather, causing him and Cedric to look at each other for a long time.

"Wait, are you saying that we should investigate the case?" asked Gideon, causing him to nod his head. "But, how can that be? We don't even know what the case is."

He sprinkled something on an empty table. Suddenly, a shadow appeared that formed a painting of a palace similar to a map.

"In a Silver Fairy Palace deep in the forest where we live, there is a gem that is very precious and is closely guarded by the king and his army. The gem had immense magical power and could be used to protect the palace from enemy attacks. However, one day, the gem disappeared without a trace and threw the whole kingdom into chaos."

The grandfather began to tell the story of the disappearance of the jewel that was very valuable to the Silver Fairy Palace, which made Cedric and Gideon a little interested in hearing it.

"Then, the king summoned his best knights to search for the missing gem. One of the knights chosen was a young man named Oskar. Oskar was a young knight who was very talented and had great courage. He was very happy to get this assignment because he wanted to prove his ability as a reliable knight. But... . ."

Grandfather did not continue his words. He was silent for a few moments, causing a hush to fall over the room.

"But why, Grandpa?" asked Cedric cautiously.

"After entering the cave, Oskar saw a large rock in the center of the cave. It looked very strange and different from the other stones. HE felt that there was something hidden behind the stone and decided to move it. After the stone was moved, Oskar found a secret room containing the lost jewels of the magical Silver Fairy Palace. . .

"However, an evil wizard suddenly appeared who wanted to snatch the jewel from Oskar. From then on, Oskar never returned to the Silver Fairy Palace." Grand father explained at length, causing Cedric and Gideon to look at each other in silence.
