"Mommy, you are finally back."
As soon as Wendy Cassia arrived home, Vicki Cassia ran to the door and rubbed against Wendy's thighs.
Wendy Cassia picked her up and said with a doting smile, "Honey, have you eaten yet?"
"Aunt Selina has already prepared the dinner. We will have dinner together when Mommy comes back." Gerald Cassia showed up with his hands in his pockets. There was still a poker face on his cool face.
Wendy Cassia couldn't help laughing. She put down Vicki and took the two babies to the table. Selina Dolby, who was busy, just walked out with hot soup in her hands. When she saw Wendy, her eyes lit up. "You're back. Dinner is ready."
"Thank you so much, Selina."
Selina Dolby took a look at Wendy, and waved her hand in a hurry, "You have to deal with the affairs of the Wellington Group in the day, and deal with the affairs of our studio at night. I'm afraid it's too much for you."
Wendy Cassia just smiled and said, "Don't talk about it. Let's eat."
Every time Selina mentioned this, Wendy always changed the topic. She didn't want to show how hard she was in front of the children because Gerald and Vicki were too sensible.
Selina Dolby understood what she was thinking. "All the people are here. Let's start!"
After the delicious dinner, Wendy Cassia was watching TV with her children when her cell phone suddenly rang.
A strange number?
Wendy Cassia walked to the balcony to answer the phone. A deep voice came through the phone. She understood and chuckled. "I didn't expect that Mr. Sheeran would call me."
"Judging from Miss Cassia's tone, you are not surprised." Ryan Sheeran appreciated talented women, and Wendy happened to be such a woman.
"Yes, I'm confident. Since you called me, you must have decided to give us a chance." Wendy Cassia said calmly without any emotion.
Surprised by the woman's emotional control, Ryan quickly regained his composure and said in a low voice, "Since you can persuade Mr. Grosvenor, of course, you can persuade me. I can agree, but on condition that you bring the distributor back."
Hearing this, Wendy Cassia smiled. "Of course, Mr. Sheeran can draw up the contract now and the distributor can be handled tomorrow. At that time, I hope that the gate of the Ainol Group is no longer closed."
Her confident tone sounded particularly powerful to Ryan. He nodded slightly and said, "OK, I'll be ready. The door of Ainol will be opened to Miss Cassia tomorrow."
Wendy Cassia hung up the phone happily and walked into the hall calmly. The two kids leaned against each other and fell asleep. She smiled at the two babies and took them into the room one by one. After closing the door carefully, she called Selina Dolby. "Selina, help me check the Opel Company."
"This is a medium-sized clothing company with no main products. The clothes are directly provided by the suppliers. What do you want to do?"
"Of course, I want to make a match for Ainol."
Selina Dolby immediately understood, "OK, I'll give you all the information in ten minutes."
Wendy Cassia didn't need to worry about the work efficiency of Selina. Ten minutes later, all the information about Opel was in her hand. After flipping through the information, Wendy Cassia was obviously determined to get it.
The next day, Wendy Cassia drove to the location of Opel early in the morning. Because it was in a remote town, she had to set off early.
"Wendy hasn't come here yet. Is she afraid to come here because she hasn't finished her task?"
"Oh my God! How could this be?"
"God, I'm doomed to lose this bet!"
As soon as Franti Cassia came in, she heard their discussion. She glanced at the empty office of Wendy. She was in a good mood with a smile at the corners of her mouth. It seemed that Wendy had really given up.
Just then, Evan Lechter came in. When he was about to knock on the door of Wendy's office, he was stopped by Franti. "Don't knock on, Evan. Wendy hasn't come yet."
"She didn't come?" Evan Lechter didn't believe her until the other people behind her nodded.
Franti Cassia walked up with a smile and said, "Yes, I think she has given up. After all, it's not easy to solve the problem of Ainol, let alone in three days." She played with her fluffy handbag with a complacent look on her face.
Without saying anything more, Evan Lechter turned around and left.
Watching him leave in a hurry, Franti Cassia smiled happily. Several designers who had been flattering her all came forward to flatter her. "Franti, after all, you are the best. Wendy is a useless girl who talks big."
"That's right. Wendy had said that the problem will be solved in three days. But she has disappeared today."
"Franti, as long as Angela puts on the clothes you designed, you will be famous. I really envy you. We don't know when we can have this opportunity."
Franti Cassia's face flushed red because of the compliment. "I'll help you take care of the opportunities. I won't treat those who are good to me shabbily."
After saying that, she looked at the empty office and the smile on her face deepened...
As soon as Evan Lechter returned to the office, he told Louis that Wendy didn't come to the company.
"Boss, do you want me to investigate it?"
When Evan Lechter said this, his heart was beating fast. After all, no one had disappeared after making a promise in front of the boss. He subconsciously observed the boss's reaction.
Louis Wellington's face was still calm, but the pen that was signing the document stopped. He raised his head and his eyes were deep. "Haven't you found out the thing that happened last time?"
Evan Lechter was stunned for a few seconds and replied immediately, "All the surveillance records of the hotel have been destroyed. No other useful information can be found."
Tapping the table with a pen, Louis Wellington already had an answer in his mind. He raised his eyebrows and said, "Keep tracing. Besides, check the surveillance video outside the shop."
He wrote down the shop name on the paper and pushed it in front of Evan.
Evan Lechter picked it up and had a look. Although he didn't understand what the boss meant, he could only do as the boss said. "What about Miss Wendy?"
"It doesn't matter."
"Yes, sir."
After leaving the office, Evan Lechter checked the surveillance video immediately, but he was more confused about the attitude of his boss towards Wendy.
At three o'clock in the afternoon, in the CEO's office on the top floor of the Ainol Group, Ryan Sheeran and Grosvenor sat opposite each other. Ryan looked at his watch and chuckled. "There's no news yet. I think you're going to lose."
Yesterday, he made a bet with Grosvenor to see if Wendy could persuade the distributor before six o'clock tonight. Till now, there was no news, and Ryan believed that he would win.
But the old man was calm. "My judgment will never be wrong."
Then, the phone in the office suddenly rang...
