Edi realized he was looking at Karin who was busy choosing clothes to wear after bathing. Edi still looked at Karin, who was already dressed more politely than when Karin came yesterday. 

  "Where are you going? They all go to school and you have to stay here or I'll take you home now. You only have two choices, let me take you to Jogja or we go to Surabaya now?" asked Edi without thinking for long. 

Edi didn't think of any other way than to be with Karin as long as Edi could. Edi will only let Karin go home to Prague today or Karin will have to stay with Edi for an indefinite period. 

Edi did that not only for Jono but also for himself. Edi wouldn't let Karin go just like that after they had spent a long night. Maybe Edi for Karin is just an outlet.
