William Leoda: Soul

This man is actually relaxed, William sense no tension at all from this man, he seem to be quite confident in his own power, because he just walk in front like William didn't just killed his son and everyone else in this base.

The man is of the height six five with a broad shoulder that seems capable to bare the burden of the entire world. William has not got a really good look at his face to determine the kind of man this man truly his, but from what William can sense already he seem to be a man who love fight than anything else.

"You can stop staring at me now boy, go ahead and ask me whatever it is on your mind" the man said.

"For a start how about you stop calling me 'boy', am quite sure you know my name by name and saying you own name will do too, l can't go around asking for Alex's father now can l?" William asked. He chooses to walk closer to the man.

"Well no you can't. Oh that's right, just call Spear, because am meant to be the spear of the king" the man replied William with sarcasm in his voice. 

William stared really hard at the man, before he burst out laughing.

Spear looked towards William as he tries to understand what is funny in what he had said. He believe that since he son recommend William even though William is his slayer that means William is as intelligent as Alex, so what did he find funny in his name, instead of lashing out about his name been made fun off, he choose to wait for William to explain himself. 

"It's quite the irony, isn't it? The King's spear is the one planning how to kill the king. That quite funny if you ask me." William finally said after about a minute of laughing.

"Oh, I guess you are right again, but how did you know or so sure that we are planning to kill him" Spear asked. He finally get the joke but he it wasn't funny to him.

"Well, with Alex dying words, it won't take a genius to figure it out. And your behavior towards the killer of your son, tells a lot about both your plans and how you really need it to work" William said as his face turn serious.

But Spear did not say anything as they both walk out of the tunnel into the open forest. Spear takes a deep breaths as he stand again in silence, he look back at the tunnel as William makes his way toward a two passenger flying car, it quite a small one, William is sure that is a car built for speed.

"We won't be taking that car, am sure you are strong enough to walk or run to the capital right" Spear said as he move to the front of the flying car and start pulling it towards the cave entrance.

William just stand back and watch Spear use the flying car to cover up the cave entrance, Spear practically had to turn the car horizontally to the cave and put enough force to the mid section of the car and force it in entirely, almost an entire two feet in.

It will take an extra kind of force and strength to pull out that car from the entrance if anyone ever wants to get into the base using this cave entrance.

Spear start to walk toward the north of the cave, but if someone were to hold a compass in the middle of the royal capital city while facing the gate that enter into capital city than where Spear and William are coming from will be the south of the capital city.

"While there is a semblance of truth in what you have just said, l will say you keep those your question to yourself for now and listen to what l have to say to you first, and l assure you by the time am done with it, most of your questions will have been answer and l can answer any other you may have" Spear said as he gesture towards William to follow him.

William did and nod to him to show that he understand.

"First of all, what is you thought on the concept of Soul" Spear asked as he looked forward and start to walk.

William takes a few minutes to think and gather his thoughts on the question Spear asked. He had asked this same question quite a few number of times too, is soul really a thing? if is not, than how can he feel that there is someone or something else is living inside of him? Is that not someone else soul or something else soul?

William has done full internal body Scan quite a number of time, and with how advance the human technology are at the moment, you can practically map your entire brain system while been alive and well but nor of those scans shows anything out of the ordinary in is body, so if it not a soul that reside in the astral plane of the body than William don't know what else.

"Well, have heard different theories about soul and what it may represent for many people but am sure you have heard of them too. So in my own opinion, just believe our soul is who will truly are. When things really get tough and difficult and when things do not go the way we plan them to, how you react to that tough and hard situations will tell who you truly are, and that what l believe our soul is, the core of any human" William replied.

Even before William stop talking, Spear was already staring at him in utter disbelieve. He is quite surprise when he had William's thoughts on his question.

"Oh wow, your thinking is quite sound to what l was told, the soul is truly the core of any human, and while l believe it live in the body, it also do not reside in the 'body' per se. The body is like it anchor or a gateway to the soul, and from what l have been told and study, soul has its own energy, and only a true enlightened individual can make use of this soul energy, watch this" Spear said as he pauses his step and stretches out his right hand and close his eyes as he seems to concentrate hard on his right hand.

After almost five minutes with nothing happening, William was already getting bored and wondering what Spear was trying to show him or was Spear trying to show him how hard and long he could concentrate, William wondered.

"Hmm l....."

Seven minutes later with nothing happening, at this point William was about to said say something when he suddenly jump over six feet, away from Spear and subconsciously draw both his swords and goes into defensive mode as he watch Spear every move like an hawk watches it prey.
