A Careless Act {ii}:

"Oh wait if l get my calculation right, he should by fifty three years old today in mind age, Raelynn you really don't want your grandson to love you at all, thankfully your kind heart let you bring him out once in a while to talk to him, if not, you grandson will have come for your head" the old man said while shaking his head.

If she has taken a bit more time to look at the soul core before she cut it into four part she will have notice that baby Raiel mind is already as deploy as a mind of a fifty three years old man as the old man just explained, and with that the soul core she cut all are equip with a matured mind that only know nothing other than pain, agony and love once in a while.

The core that had it worse now is the one currently in this body, the mind in this fourth core is tearing itself apart while trying to get accustom to the pain the body and soul is currently feeling, if care is not taken any time soon, insanity will be the least of their worries.

The old men is sure that this fourth mind is currently blaming everything on the goddess of life because since she materialize herself into his soul realm, her face has been register into Raiel mind, as the person who is causing him pain which as now birth a killing intent in this soul core, and Raiel been expose to chaos energy like this not only serve to nourish is body and mend his soul core but it also fusing with his already birth killing intent and strengthen it.

The old man take a step and turn into a peck of light that pass through the three runic formation and charge into the baby forehead and into his soul realm.

The moment he arrive in Raiel soul realm the soul sea or what's left of it roar to life, making big wave that try to drown the old man completely, but the old man just stood his ground with is hand behind his back, like the sage is was and let the soul sea wave watch over him.

When the wave hit back down the old man was still floating over the soul sea, the sea roar again like an angry lion which power and reign has been challenged, over and over again the soul sea collide and try to drown the old man but all the effort turn futile.

After a few more tries, the soul sea calm down, the old man smile a bit.

"You may not be able to speak my language yet but am sure you can understand me quite well, the woman who was here before me is not your enemy or the person to be angry with, but for now you can be angry with her for her carelessness" the old man grin at his own mischievous scheme and the headaches his is about to cause his daughter, he could already imagine her expression when her little grandson show her nothing but cold shoulder, at that point she would understand how he felt whenever he try to get her to listen to him or whenever he tries to instructed her, he almost want to laugh out but then he remember the situation at hand.

"Unfortunately or should l say fortunately your soul has already been in pain for a long time so it should be easy to endure the pain of having your soul core cut by the time l fix the pain on your body, and l can guarantee you that in the grand scheme of life, there is no pain without its own gain, and when you start seeing the benefit of all these pains, you will be thankful" the old man said but the moment is last word was said the soul sea roar one more time, almost as if he was replying the old man with {'what gain is there to gain from all these pains'}.

The old man simply snap his finger and the soul sea wave hit back down immediately because of the pressure that descend on the soul sea almost dried it up, the pressure vanish just as it appeared.

"Good this show that you can at least understand me, which is good, first let do something about that physical pain of yours" the old man said, he raise his hands up, simultaneously writing the rune of 'repair' and 'strengthen', when the rune fully formed the sea realm almost collapse due to the pressure of the energy been used to powered the two runes.

"Bear with it, you will be in less pain in a minute l promise" the soul realm visibly stabilizes at the words of the old man.

He smiled when he saw this, and continue what he was doing, after powering up the rune, he send out the rune for repair out of the soul realm into the body of Raiel, and immediately the bones, muscles, veins, organs, and cells all start to repair themselves at the rate that was visible to the naked eyes, well it not like anyone is looking at the moment, expect me[author] and my readers.

In less than a minute, the body was completely healed, in fact if a person were to lay their eyes on the baby body right now; he looked too pristine, like a well polish diamond.

The moment the repair was done, the old man could have sworn his heard the soul sea sigh in relief.
