" Why?" August didn't understand why was so calm accepting her fate. Why was she not fighting to turn it around? Does she not wish to live? Was life that worse for her? All she cared about was him living a better life. This was not how it should be.

"What why? Are you really planning to be a loser? Aish! I should have not taken you then." Azrael pushed him away, annoyed he ruined such a great speech she gave to him. She would be relieved if he took his life seriously just like how he took hers.

"No, I mean don't you wish to live longer." August rubbed away the leftover tears, ashamed of how he was crying just now.

"I want to ask the same question. Don't you wish to live longer?" Azrael changed the subject, turning the question at him.
