Chapter 4

The principal and the other staff at UA had been huddled in the meeting room once again. "Do we have any information on yesterday? Midnight, Thirteen, please report."

Midnight and Thirteen stood out of their seats. Midnight spoke up. "Eraserhead and Bakugou came in contact with Midoriya. Somehow Midoriya knew that we had assigned Bakugou to the number one hero position when it was only a couple days ago and it had not been broadcasted to the public. He knew we didn't have reinforcements as well. Midoriya sent Eraserhead to the hospital with a broken arm, burn marks on his face which was smeared into the ground, a cracked skull, and a broken jaw bone. Eraserhead also lost an eye during Midoriya's appearance. Were afraid he's currently in a coma as well." All Might and the others gasped in shock. "Bakugou's classmates took him to the hospital last night after he fell unconscious in the dorm rooms. Bakugou also had broken ribs and a broken wrist."

The principal nodded his head and continued. "Was it only Eraserhead and Bakugou who were injured? Is there a possibility that he is with the League of Villains?"

Thirteen cut in. "There have been many casualties as well. There were 50 injured and 10 dead along with some missing, whose bodies are yet to be discovered. Apparently, Midoriya had Nomus in his possession. He sent them out and destroyed many homes and buildings. Him being with the League of Villains is probable but..."

"But the League of Villains disappeared about a year and a half ago. Could it be that..." The principal continued.

The door abruptly swung open. The nurse stood on the threshold of the door. She was breathing heavily from running all the way from the hospital to UA.

"Miss, this is a private room..." The woman shouted, cutting the principal off.

"Endeavor has gone missing!"

Todoroki watched his quirkless father lay in the hospital bed. For once his father was actually vulnerable. His unconscious state didn't pose a threat. A bug willing to be smashed and crushed into smithereens. His suit was neatly buttoned up this time and his hands intertwined with each other, holding them tightly. Todoroki sighed and leaned his head back against the hospital wall. Bored, he straightened his head back into its previous position and stood up, pushing his arms against his legs to give himself more of a push upwards.

He reached his hand into his pocket and grabbed a knife from the inside. He twirled it around in his hand as he inched closer to Endeavor.

"Father, I'm getting bored waiting. It's time for you to wake up."

Todoroki pressed the knife to Endeavor's cold throat.

Endeavor's eyes flickered as he opened his eyes. Todoroki quickly slid the knife back into his pocket before Endeavor could realize.

Endeavor's eyes refocused.

"Shotou..."

"Father?"

There was a moment of silence as the invisible wall between the two slowly began to fall... almost.

"Thank you Shotou. I'm sorry."

Todoroki reared back in shock at Endeavor's words.

"You tell me this now?" Todoroki fidgeted with the knife in his pocket.

Endeavor looked down at his hands. "Your mother came to visit. And now that I don't have a quirk and I'm basically useless, I've realized all the things that I have done. You and your mother suffered because of me. I can no longer be a hero. I no longer have any authority. I have done many things for you and your mother. I don't have the right to face the two of you again."

Todoroki wrapped his arms around Endeavor, feeling the coldness of Endeavor's body. Endeavor did the same. His quirk was for sure gone. He had no longer emanated the heat he once had.

"You're right, Father."

"What do you mean?"

"You no longer have the right to face me."

The knife jabbed into Endeavor's chest, piercing his heart. The knife penetrated the skin and blood ran down his body, seeping into his clothes. "Sh-Shotou..." Flames burst through Endeavors body, burning a hole in his blood-drenched clothes.

Blood drooled out of Endeavor's mouth and his eyes opened wide. Endeavor dropped onto the floor. Todoroki put his hand on his back and set the body on fire, turning it to ashes, burning the evidence, burning the one who burned his purity.

And with those words of Endeavors Disappearance, the room went silent.

"A couple days ago he said he didn't need anyone in the room, he said he wanted to be alone. We left him for a few days with occasional coming in to give him food and his medicine. We only let his son visit. Endeavor disappeared during all of the commotions. I had only got word of it today so I went and asked around and they said he had been with his son almost the whole day."All Might stood up, pushing the chair backward, scraping across the floor making a squeaking sound that was harmful on the ears. His decrepit legs gave the effect that they were going to collapse under his own weight.

"Where is Shouto Todoroki?"

"He was released from the hospital a couple days ago. Before the incident. He seemed desperate to go see his father from what I saw. Currently, no one knows his whereabouts though."

Present Mic spoke up. "Todoroki had been seen with Bakugou right after our meeting with him."

All Might looked at the principal with a concerned, regretful, and most of all face full of sadness. The principal made eye contact with All Might and nodded. The principal cleared his throat.

"Unfortunately, there is a traitor among our midst. Capture Shouto Todoroki at once."

Bakugou's eyes slowly opened. Waking up in the hospital once again he looked to the side where all of his classmates were waiting for him to wake up. Todoroki stood in the corner, leaning against the wall. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Isn't it obvious? We came to see you!" Uraraka said happily.

"You idiots. You didn't have to..." Bakugou sat up but the pain in his head made him move otherwise. He grunted in pain and laid back down.

"No really we were just visiting Eraserhead and we thought we would drop by. Speaking of Eraserhead, He's pretty roughed up. We heard he's in a coma."

Bakugou was silent.

"By the way, Where were you yesterday Half and Half Bastard?" Bakugou said, trying to change the subject.

"Yesterday?" Ilda cut in. "Bakugou, you've been out for days."

"Days?!?"

Phones rang all through the room. They all went to pick up their phones as they beeped endlessly. "It's from UA."

"Meet at the school. Emergency. Can't give much detail. Just get here quick."

Bakugou threw the sheets off of him and jumped out of the bed. Their eyes followed him as he paced across the room. He ran to the bathroom and put on his superhero costume in a rush. He quickly came out of the bathroom and slammed the door behind him. "You Idiots, let's go!"

The others snapped out of their trance and rushed to put on their costumes. They rushed out of the hospital and made their way back to UA.

When they arrived there were cop cars parked, their lights flashing onto all of the teachers and pro heroes that were aligned in a circle around the class. They looked around their heads on a swivel.

"What is going on?" Bakugou yelled. Sweat built up on his palms.

All Might stepped out of the circle, breaking the symmetry. He looked at the class with a sad face. Their startled expressions replaced with confusion.

"Back away. We don't want any of you to get hurt. You guys are not our targets. Trust me, this is for the best even if we don't want things to be true. But these type of things is just reality."

"What the hell are you talking about, All Might?" Bakugou snarked.

All Might looked at his feet. He sighed and looked up again.

"Shouto Todoroki, You are under arrest with the evidence of treason..." All Might froze. "As well as charges of murder."

All of class 3-A cranked their heads backward to stare at Todoroki, their eyes wide open in shock. Todoroki walked past his classmates, unfazed. He came to a stop, yards distance away from All Might. "All Might. I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. Why would I side with villains?"

"Could it perhaps be because of Deku? Did you know where he was in the time frame that he was missing? Did he make you do this?"

"Why would I have killed innocent people, let alone my own father?"

"We never said Endeavor had been a victim, Todoroki." Midnight chirped in. "Don't play dumb with us. Surrender, and we will spare your life. You will be taken into confinement until we believe you are ready to be released."

Todoroki sighed. Flames and Ice burst into the sky. They swirled around Shouto. Todoroki's stern expression still hung on his face. "I'm afraid I can't do that."

"Then we're just going to have to take you by force!" The heroes charged at him. Todoroki dodged and threw Ice and flames at them. He held his breath, rendering Midnight's quirk useless.

Quirks were activated endlessly but Todoroki dodged them with his agility. Flames and Ice burst through the air and all his class could do watch as his teachers and superiors battled against their own classmate who had been with them along the course to be heroes. And after learning that that classmate was a criminal, a Villain, a murderer? It was heartbreaking. For the teachers and the class.

Bakugou knew for sure, Deku was the cause of all this. He had brought Todoroki to his side. And Bakugou also knew for certain, Deku was going to pay, no matter what.

Todoroki effortlessly dodged their teachers' attacks, but with Gran Torino, Todoroki couldn't keep up. Todoroki's speed was nothing compared to Gran Torino's. He used his overwhelming speed to dodge Todoroki's attacks and quickly counter-attack. Todoroki built a wall of ice to block Gran Torino's attacks.

Present Mic sent out high-frequency sound waves causing Todoroki to cover his ears and kneel down on the ground. Vulnerable, Gran Torino slammed through Todoroki's weakened ice wall and slammed Todoroki into the ground. This time Todoroki didn't get up. He laid on the ground, scratched and bruised.

They all sighed a sigh of relief. They were all happy that the fight had finally stopped. The fight that seemed to go on for days came to a stop, and so did Todoroki.

Midnight put out her hand in front of the police officer, urging him to hand her the handcuffs. She approached Todoroki and opened the cuffs. She brought the handcuffs to his wrists. Just as she was going to snap them shut something came crashing toward them. White light burst as the object hit the surface. The force of the explosion literally blew them all away. The dust swirled through the air. The smoke cleared as they feebly stood up. Deku was holding Todoroki by the waist, putting Todoroki's head on his own shoulder. He stroked his hair, brushing out the dust and pebbles out of it.

"Midoriya..."

Deku looked down and smiled sincerely at Todoroki.

"Midoriya, I'm sorry. I should have noticed they were on to me. I'm useless to you now." Deku noticeably flinched and tensed. "I'm really sorry..."

Deku put his finger to Todoroki's lips. "You are not useless Shouto. You did what I asked without thinking of the consequences. You are not useless and you never will be useless. I won't let you go to prison. Do you know why? It's because you're mine and mine alone, and I will never let you go. Even if I have to crush our classmates and our heroes. I will take charge of this rotten world with you by my side, and that is a promise."

Deku pressed his lips against Todoroki's yet again. Bakugou looked at the two in disgust. They all stood slack-jawed at the secret that had been kept from all of them, except for Midnight, who was fangirling in the corner and trying to suppress her excitement. They wondered once again, What happened in the two years Deku had been missing?

Deku separated his and Todoroki's lips and stared back at the UA teachers. He raised his hand upwards and the same black tattoo climbed up his arm. He slammed his fist in the ground. The cement crumbled and flew everywhere. The UA windows shattered and the building began to tumble down. Distracted, the UA teachers turned their attention away from Deku. All teachers but Cementos. Cementos sent a stone pillar towards Deku's head. Deku tilted his head, smiling, and the cement barely brushed past his ear. Deku, confident in his ability, didn't change his expression as he grabbed the cement and it began to corrode.

"Why do you have Tomura Shigaraki's quirk, Midoriya?" Cementos said, diverting the others attention back on to Deku.

" What do you have? Cement for brains? I have my reasons. Mind your own business."

Cementos seemed taken back by the fact that Midoriya had insulted him. "Could it be that you disposed of him yourself? Along with the other villains in the League of Villains?"

Deku laughed. "Maybe, So what?"

They reared back, surprised at his reaction.

"Well, I really do have to go now. My sister could be waking up anytime soon and it's really exhausting putting her to sleep every time I want to get work done. I had to do this to go visit Aizawa-Sensei and Bakugou and I really have to say, If she found out things wouldn't be pretty, for you or for me. Bye now. Have fun. I hope you don't die in this rotten world before I get to you."

Deku vanished, with Todoroki in hand, leaving the teachers and their classmates lost in the crumbling mess of the area.
