Chapter Eleven: The Mask Party

As Norella and Lorella got to the compound in which the party was ongoing,was when they realized that it is a mask party. Yeah, luckily for them, they are both wearing gowns, but it is not the type fit for a party,not this kind of a party rather, because inside a compound, there is a mansion. None like they as have they ever seen before. "Wow!" They both exclaimed at the same time. They were amazed by the size of the mansion, they did not know that this kind of buildings is in Africa, especially Nigeria. They were excited. It is very very beautiful and very big. Twenty families could live inside it and have a room each. The only thing they were not sure about is if it a house or a hotel. They were curious to find out. The only way to find out is to enter, right? They could see guests walking about the building, some are even in the swimming pool, including kids. " I can't wait to go in" Norella said excitedly to her sister,who was giving her an evil stare. "Woah, why that face? Let's go in before someone sees us and starts thinking that we are some uninvited guests, who are trying to trespass or break in. After you my lady" Norella said and courtesy. " I was waiting for you to do something since you brought me here, you know that I do not know anyone here except you. So please, do not misbehave" Lorella warned her twin sister. "And remember, we can't drink because we are still underage, we are still fifteen. I do not want to get poisoned or drugged. Are you sure you know anyone here? Have you ever met the person who invited you in person before? Have you seen in persons?" Lorella asked Norella to confirm because her sister is very good at lying, sometimes it pains her that she can't tell when Norella is lying. Norella is very deceitful. Her mom even warns her secretly at times to be careful whenever she is with her sister." No you go first" Lorella said " I want to be behind you" Lorella added, "I trust you but I want to hear you explain yourself,so that you would not make any false excuse if anything should go wrong. You might runaway if I let you stay behind me" Lorella added. "Okay,that is fair enough" Norella said and shrugged her shoulders. They swapped places as they walked closer to the gate. They got to the gate and waited for the gate keepers to come open the gate for them, immediately they were inside the compound, one of the security officers requested for an invitation card, which they obviously do not have. Norella showed him her chat conversation with the person that invited them. The security officer attending to them called Another security officer which he ordered to shoved out Lorella. "Am sorry ma'am, invited guests only" he said to her. "Please kindly step out of the compound" he added. " Seriously?" Lorella said and glanced at her sister angrily before stepping out of the compound and stood close to the gate,as it was immediately shut by the security officer who asked her to step out. "Wait here ma'am", the officer in charge said to Norella and took her phone with her chat conversation on the screen and walked towards the mansion and went out of sight after he passed the door. Ten minutes later,he got back and ordered one of the security officers to reopen the gate for Lorella. Immediately, she stepped into the compound he returned Norella's phone and said " You two, follow me" and walked away. They both followed him and was being escorted by two other security officers behind them.
