punishment

A while back, while Odin and the judge were still fighting, back in Asgard.

(note/ Ling Han can't use any of the systems, because of the judge)

Ling Han stood before a table with a cubby woman standing on the opposite side of it. The table was long as it held many beer mugs, which were made out of wood.

Around them stood a group of Asgardians who were cheering from the side.

"Son of Thor, you sure you want to face me? from what I can see, your mother might have forgotten to birth you with a pair of balls." The cubby woman said mockingly as she looked Ling Han up and down.

"Ling Han, make her eat her words." Ling Han's mother yelled from the side.

"Alright, silence," Elise said as she stood in the middle of Ling Han and the woman. everyone went quiet as they watched closely

"You ready?" Elise asked as she looked at Ling Han, to which Ling Han responded with a node.

"are you ready?" Elise asked the chubby woman.

"I don't need to be ready facing a kid who isn't even in his hundreds." The chubby woman said with a smile, showing her teeth, which some cricket.

Elise nodded before she began counting backward from 10. Ling Han, the chubby woman, both grabbed the beer mug in front of them as they looked at each other.

"3... 2... 1... GO." Elise yelled as Ling Han, and the chubby woman suddenly began drinking the beer within the mug before moving on to the next one.

In sends, they had drunk over 20 beer mugs. The crowd watched as they made their way to the end of the table.

"I win!" The chubby woman roared at the sky as she finished the last beer mug before Ling Han could have finished his last beer mug.

"hahaha, brat..." She laughed before she fell face-first into the table, breaking it.

"... I'm still standing, so I win." Ling Han said with a laugh as he tried to keep his balance.

"you have to stand for 30 seconds since she was faster than you," Ling Han mother said, as everyone forced on him

"haha, my mine is unmatched... hello. the name is Ling Han. what is a beauty like you doing here?" Ling Han said as he walked up to his mother,

everyone was speechless. The first thing he did while drunk was hit on his mother.

Ling Han suddenly moved, dodging his mother's shoe.

"let me take you to the candy shop. I will let you taste the best lollipop." Ling Han said with a drunk smile,

Boom

Elise suddenly appeared above Ling Han with the eighth gate opened. She punched him so hard Ling Han's was knocked out.

"mother in law, I will make sure to give him a good scolding," Elise said in embarrassment as she bowed slightly at Ling Han's mother before picking Ling Han up.

"..." Mu Qingyun's smiled as she looked at Elise

"Ling Han is a good kid. I can't help but wonder if his actions are because I wasn't there to raise him. I just hope he doesn't think I just leave." She said with a sigh

"he always knows you left a Saint realm cultivator to raise him. he is the one he killed him when he went back in time. Ling Han doesn't hold a grudge against you. He just doesn't want to have a family." Elise said as she left. She couldn't help but frown at her own words

'... family.' Elise thought softly as she looked at Ling Han. Elise wanted a family of her own. The type of family which was connected by blood.

She was kind of jealous and also displeased with Ling Han. He had a whole family, yet he didn't care for it. Some people just don't appreciate what they have until it's gone.

Elise brought Ling Han to the temporary home Thor had given to them. It took Ling Han a few days to awaken with a bad headache,

"the hell happened." Ling Han asked as he held his head as he looked around

"... you need to respect yourself. you are such a slut." Elise said with a frown

"We already had this talk. I haven't had sex with anyone. but you, I promise." Ling Han said calmly

"The moment you were drunk, you hit on your mother before a crowd," Elise said as Ling Han froze

"not again." Ling Han said with a slight frown. Elise froze for a second, hearing Ling Han words

"you mean this happened before? just what is wrong with you." Elise said with sought disgust.

"first of all, the first time, I didn't know she was my mom. And second, I was drunk... and there is more to this, why are you so angry over this?" Ling Han said calmly

"it's just that you show to respect to your parents... in a way, the spirit farm is like my parent, but the spirit farm and I have no connections. I can't even sense it like you do... I want a family. I want to have a child, but I don't want you to treat our child the same way you treat your other children." Elise said softly

"what do you mean?" Ling Han asked with a slight frown

"I might know you best out of everyone else. You still fate Ling Chang to the bone. You have not once shown a hint of worry for Ling Hong. You do everything because you want. That doesn't mean you love them with all your heart." Elise said softly, which made Ling Han quite

"I know your past and the promise you made to yourself. Showing love might be impossible for you ever since you enter this world. You don't want to follow in the footsteps of your past..." Elise said as she looked Ling Han in the eyes

"Why did you create me? you created me to be your second chance, just in case you ever wanted a second chance at love. So far, I can't tell if you love me or not. I saw another alternate you had killed and absorbed their Elise. is that what you planned to do with me?" Elise asked to which Ling Han sighed

"do I love you? I don't know, but I didn't write any kind of personality when I created you. Who you are is you. as for killing and absorbing you... why would I do that?" Ling Han said he stood up

"as for a child... I have always tried to be a good father." Ling Han said as he left

The next few days went on as if nothing had happened. Asgard was like heaven. All they did was pretty drink and challenge others to competitions.

on the day Odin returned,

Odin stepped into Asgard, and his eye instantly fell on Thor, who was passed out next to Ling Han.

He looked around at the many knocked-out soldiers and even citizens. All of them had one thing in common, that had a beer mug next to them.

"..." Odin looked towards his throne and saw someone other than Thor was sitting upon it to power the seal.

"awaken," Odin said in a deep voice. Everyone suddenly woke up as they stood to their feet.

"Father," Thor said with a smile as he grabbed a beer mug and tried to hand it to Odin.

"my grandson really knows how to throw a party. it has been years since I pretty to the point a couldn't pretty anymore." Thor said with a laugh

"Who is powering the seal?" Odin asked coldly. Thor suddenly froze as he remembered the task Odin gave him. His heart dropped to rock bottom as he remembered who had been sealed away.

"what seal?" Ling Han asked lazily as he looked Odin up and down.

He had to give it to Odin. He looked badass. That golden armor, along with that golden eye patch. Odin even gave off an aura that made those who looked at him seem to look at the world itself.

"..." Odin looked at Ling Han with slightly narrowed eyes before waving his hands. Thor, Ling Han, Elise, and Odin suddenly disappeared as they all appeared within the throne room.

"... Loki!" Thor yelled in shock upon seeing Looking sitting on Odin Throne. Just as Loki was about to mock Thor, his words were caught in his throat when he saw Odin narrowed eye.

He quickly jumped off the throne, as he and Thor fell to one knee as Odin took the throne. Ling Han and Elise watched from the side.

"Kneel," Odin said calmly as Elise and Ling Han instantly fell to the knee.

"Before I left, I gave you one job. how did you end up drunk in the middle of the city?" Odin asked as he looked at Thor

"I was foolish. I shouldn't have told my grandson to throw the party within the throne room. I should have drunk when I had this important task." Thor said softly, making a vein appear on Odin's forehead

Brunhild really damages Thor's head. How drinks on the job?

Odin narrowed eyes landed on Loki, who shook slightly

"I knew something was off when I sensed the seal which sealed her way began to weaken. I came out of my cell to see what was happening. I took Thor's spot to power the seal." Loki said softly

"Thor, your actions did just put all of Asgard in danger. Your acts almost set free a great evil onto this world. Loki, although your heart was in the right place. You have escaped your cell and even sat upon my thrown." Odin said as primordial Qi wrapped around Thor and Loki

"as punishment, thor you shall enter the cycle of reincarnation. Each life, you will be reborn as a different race and species. you shall not return until you have been every race and species." Odin said as, with a thought, Thor turned into dots of lights that disappeared into the sky

"Loki shall return to the land of the frost giants, long with your people," Odin said as Loki's eyes widened, just as he wanted to say something. he was forcefully teleported out of Asgard by Odin

"... I heard from Thor the well of knowledge holds all the knowledge of this world. Past, present, and future. I'm guessing you already knew Thor and Loki would have done that." Ling Han said with a froze as he looked at Odin, but Odin just looked at him without saying anything

"..." Ling Han shrugged as he looked at Elise, who was trying to stand up.

"you see quite the troublesome person. I see many things within your future, some good and some bad. There is nothing I can teach you. Unlike others, you know yourself. You just do what you want without a care. You are smart but choose to use your brain in some cases. You hold deep knowledge, yet... you are a fool." Odin said calmly

"in the end, this is your second life. I understand you want to live it to the fullest." Odin said calmly as he watched Ling Han and Elise slowly disappearing, as the judge summoned them
