Great Way To Start The Day!

When they heard him scream so loudly, they covered their ears instinctively.

After screaming for so long, Ellen finally stopped as he noticed that his voice had turned a bit hoarse and his throat was also starting to hurt.

He looked at the two people who were covering their ears tightly.

Song Xia and Tang Yan, after making sure that the scream had ended, removed their hands from their ears.

Song Xia asked with a weak smile as she rubbed her ears, "Ellen, may I ask you why you were screaming like there is a cockroach in this room?!"

Ellen smiled awkwardly as he tried to explain himself, "Xiao Xia, it's not like that.. It's just that.."

'You happened to be a Vampire in my imagination especially the scariest one I've ever seen in my whole life, so I screamed at the top of my lungs!'

(A/N: Ellen said "the scariest vampire I've ever seen" lol, has he seen vampires before?? Omg my novel is turning into fantasy genre!)

Ellen couldn't find a good explanation.

Just then, Tang Yan mumbled while looking on the floor, "Xiao Xia, are you a magician? What you said came true.."

Song Xia heard his voice but it was very soft so she failed to hear what he said clearly. She raised her brows as she gave him a confused look, "Huh?"

Tang Yan looked at her before pointing at the floor, "Can you see the future, Xiao Xia? Your words actually came true.."

Ellen and Song Xia's eyes followed Tang Yan's finger and they almost popped out in horror.

COCKROACH!!!!!

Their first reaction was to scream out loud and jump here and there like a frog, "Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!"

Hearing their screams, Tang Yan also started screaming.

Song Xia looked at the floor while screaming. The cockroach was nowhere to be found!

She stopped screaming right away and then glanced at the Arrogant Best Friends Duo who were screaming like fools while running here and there.

She nudged Ellen's arm and the latter looked at her, dumbfounded. Song Xia pointed at the empty floor, signaling that the cockroach was long gone.

Ellen breathed a sigh of relief as he wiped off the sweat on his forehead.

Meanwhile, Song Xia tried to catch the running Tang Yan but he was really fast like he was running for his life and his screams were so piercing to the ears.

Song Xia couldn't fight the urge so she extended her leg and kicked his calf and Tang Yan fell on the floor, flat on his face with a 'thud'.

He finally stopped screaming and shouting. He didn't buzz for a few minutes making Song Xia feel a little guilty for kicking him.

But still, it was his fault and she had no other choice than to kick him!

Tang Yan lifted his head as he asked angrily, "Who was the one who kicked me?!" Song Xia replied, "Me, do you have any problem?"

Tang Yan seemed dumbstruck. He was kicked by the same woman, TWICE this morning! What a great way to start the day!

Tang Yan glanced at her face which looked so innocent that he couldn't even blame her. He sobbed.

"Big Sister Xia! I don't have any problems!" Song Xia's mouth twitched a little as she kicked him again.

"Who is your Big Sister?!" Tang Yan cried as he looked at her with a hint of tenderness in his eyes, "Sorry.. Then I'll call you Big Brother Xia!"

Song Xia: "..." Big Brother, my foot!

Ellen: "..."

Right at that moment, they heard the doorbell ring. They simultaneously turned their heads towards the door.

Who must be here at this early hour?

Song Xia adjusted her pajama as she walked towards the door.

Tang Yan looked at Ellen who was standing near him and extended his arm, "Dude, help me up!" Ellen sneered, "Why should I?"

Tang Yan was speechless; his arm was still hanging in the air.

He pursed his lips as he lifted his other arm and linked with the one in the midair and sat up.

This world was so cruel and this best friend of his was the most cruelest and inhumane one.. Well he thought.
