First Quest

"I think we should let Kai decide" John said.

After about one hour of discussion between john and Cia they found a name which is suitable. "But what if someone recognise me"

Kai asked. Kai is now completely changed but there is still a chance that someone will recognsie him. "That's not a problem even if someone recognise you no one can do anything I told you I have some connections and it's good if they knew that the one they bullied is back to kick their butts" John said with a smile. Kai was still thinking that what connections do john have.

Days passed and today is the day when Kai is leaving this city and john all the paperwork is done Kai is now officially adopted by John

maybe officially is not a correct word but still

and looks like on the emotionless face of Kai today there is just one emotion sadness although Kai wasn't with john for so long but he is a good teacher for kai and Kai start thinking him as his family. Today is a very busy day Cia is also packing her bags she is leaving today as well her father is coming to take her back and Kai is wondering if everyone in her family is demon he never asked but john once told him that she is a subclass of demon but john himself don't know what she is cause there are many subclasses of demons out there. Kai is leaving before her because today is the duel in the military school. John already rented a house for kai he told him that it isn't that big but it's fine for kai and he also paid on month rent. Kai is already thinking about repaying him later.

Kai is now ready to leave and standing in the front the door "Kai I have a present for you"

Cia said in a calm voice. Kai looked at he she have a weird ring in her hand same as the one she is wearing it is in the shape of a dragon head it remind Kai of Drake but when he was in the forest he lost it somewhere but Kai could tell it was a ring made of beast core.

"Actually it's my old ring it will help you to go out in the sun for one hour" Cia said "I remember that you have the same ring before but it lost in the forest while hunting".

This is exactly what Kai needed In sunlight he feels weaker and system message confirmed this whenever he trained in the sunlight.

But but by this he don't have to care about that so he accepted it and thanked her with a smile but then Kai remembered that Scarlett once told his that there is no way for demons to go out in sunlight they won't burn to death but become weak "Maybe they found a beast core which can save demons from sunlight" Scarlett said in his mind a weapon made by beast core have a same skill of that beast. Then John also wished him good luck.

Kai left the home when the sunlight hit him a message appeared.

Then he wear the ring given by Cia and another message appeared.

Now Kai is ready to go but there is still an hour before the bus arrive Kai left early because he was thinking about hunting in the forest he was very close to the evolution system also told him that the new name will be updated after evolution. So he headed towards the forest.

After climbing the boundary he was now in the forest he can simply go back by going to the other side wall of the boundary but last time it had taken a day when he first time came here and by his current his it'll still take 2 or 3 hours.

Soon he killed some first and second tire beasts these beasts only give him 5 or 10 exp so it was hard to level up.

Soon he encountered a tiger type beast it is black in colour with no tail but a single horn on the head.

This was the first time he is getting a quest from system but the reward is hidden and the fight is going to be difficult as well. Kai noticed that the beast is trying to catch something else before noticing Kai and whatever it is now inside a small hole in the near tree.

The beast rushed towards Kai but Kai doged the attack the beast is really fast before Kai could do anything else it scratched him on the face and a notification appeared.

but it slowly start healing now Kai punched him on his face but it was not very effective beast used his claws and now Kai's shirt is ripped Kai start taking the battle seriously so he started using the martial arts he learned from john when the beast leap towards Kai

he punched him from the right side and when the beast fell on the floor Kai took a

Murray Thai Stance and stomped on his head blood is dripping from the beast's head Kai stomped on it again but then something unexpected happened and the beast's body start glowing a bit red and another message appeared.

[The beast activated the skill 'Beserk Mode'

all of the stats are doubled in this state and the core become useless after defeating it.]

After reading the message Kai's eyes were wide opened the beast is already very strong and now it's stats were doubled. The beast leap towards Kai faster than before Kai have no choice but to take the hit.

If Kai keep getting hit like this he'll die in four or five hits even with his high endurance.

Kai is now using everything he had the fight is harder than the thought.

After about 15 minutes continuously fighting

Kai is running out of stamina.

The beast is hurt as well but Kai have very low HP left.

The beast again attacked on Kai but this Kai performed an axe kick the beast is now badly

hurt but it attacked again and Kai was unable to doge but before the beast could hit him the thing that is hiding in the nearby tree jumped and directly landed on the beasts face the beast lost his balance and fall on the ground Kai didn't waste the opportunity and stomped on his head with all the strength he have his skull shattered the beast is dead now but before Kai could see what saved him a notification appeared.
