Surprise at the Door

Her father took the wine, handed it to Vivi, and asked earnestly, "Isn't your work going well? When you came home this time, your mother and I noticed that you were always in a daze. If your work is really too hard, just resign and come back home."

Vivi took the wine and put it in her mouth. Her brows closed sadly, and she smiled at her father. 

"Father, I'm fine. It's true that my work is a little busy lately, but I also get a good day off. Don't worry, I'm fine. Later when I have enough money, I will invite you and mother to live with me in Surabaya."

Perhaps because parents' expectations of their children are sky-high, their children are becoming more resilient. 

But when they actually see their children working hard outside, they will feel guilty and depressed.

Vivi's parents also felt sorry for her hard work and dedication, and they felt guilty that they could not provide her with a better life.
